MAKEOVER!

Amy tugged Tikal through the busy streets and into the best
boutique she could find. The lady at the counter happily greeted
Amy recognizing her as a regular customer. Amy shoves Tikal into
the change booth and tosses an assort of pretty dresses and tops
over into the change room excited to give her girlfriend a
modern fashionable look. Amy stopped finding the pinkest puffest
dress she could find covered in frills and feathers sliding open
the curtain standing infront of Tikal. She held the dress on the
hanger with a sweet smile. "You have to try this one on first.
So it's so elegant and so you. I wish I could wear this type of
pink but it blends in with my skin. I'm more of a red girl
myself.Maybe tie that blue sash of yours around it to break it
up." She said allowing her to incorporate her old accessories
into her new look.

Tikal followed Amy with Chaos, dazed by all of the interesting
places they ran past. She looked around curiously as they
entered the boutique, having never seen anything like it before,
but was interrupted by Amy pushing her into one of the changing
booths. Chaos, rather uninterested in all of this, stood to the
side of the booth's door somewhat awkwardly, content with
letting the girls shop so long as he didn't have to get dragged
into it.
Tikal blinked in confusion as Amy started picking out clothes,
before being presented with the pink dress. She tilted her head
slightly, taking the dress from Amy and looking at it with an
air of bewilderment. "Do you think so?" Tikal asked, inspecting
it curiously. "I guess it wouldn't hurt..." She draped the dress
over one arm and untied her sash, before continuing. "For what
it's worth, I think red looks good on you." Tikal set her sash
to the side and paused suddenly, looking between the dress and
herself for several seconds. She frowned slightly, presented
with a sudden problem. "How do I wear this?"

Amy shook her head and smiled walking in next to Tikal. She
peered around the corner resting her hand on the curtain. "Sorry
Chaos girl stuff." She said with a cheeky tone. She then pulled
the curtain closed. "First you just.....no no arm here. Then you
just hook this into here. Oh and we tie that there. That would
look even cuter in a bow." Random shirts and skirts Amy had
picked out flew out of the change room as whatever fashion
science Amy was preforming was unfolding. One of the blue tube
tops landed on Chaos in the entire mess. Now finished Amy pulled
back the curtain hands presenting Tikal to herself in the
mirror. She was now wearing the pink frilly dress the proper way
and had her trademark blue sash tied around her waist in a large
bow at the back to add some contrasting color to the outfit. Amy
smiled and pointed towards Tikal's reflection. "So what do you
think? Like it or should we keep on looking? I know you may not
be into pink and frilly but that dress is to die for cute."

It wasn't long until Princess Sally entered the store while back
in her Freedom Fighter days pretty dresses were the last thing
on her mind, living in a castle had given her a taste for the
finest. She was wearing her red school blazer that was lined
with gold trim that had a long matching blue skirt. She hummed
happily running her finger across the racks looking for
something that might take her fancy. She then pulled out a
rather smart looking black dinner dress. "I wonder..." She said
to herself before looking to the strange girls in the booth. She
knew one was Amy but nothing of the other.

Tikal blinked in surprise at her reflection. The dress was cute,
in a manner of speaking, but... She grimaced slightly, before
hiding the expression. "Why don't we have this one be a...
Maybe?" Truthfully, she didn't feel much like herself wearing
something so flashy, but she didn't want to hurt Amy's feelings
by saying so. Still standing next to the door, Chaos shook his
head in agreement with Tikal. Of course, the echidna thought, it
didn't help that she had ended up putting the dress on top of
her normal outfit. It hadn't bothered her before that the
clothes were a part of her 'body', but now it seemed like an
obvious inconvenience.

Amy nodded it was nice of Tikal to consider her feelings. She
then pointed out towards the store racks and made a gesture.
"That entire rack is the new line. Why don't you pick something
you like out? Hopefully it resemble this century." Amy said the
last part quietly under her breath. Spotting Sally just across
from them the pink hedgehog gritted her teeth in annoyance Sally
was another with whom she had to compete with for Sonic's
affection. She waved giving a forced creepy smile acknowledging
Sally.

Tikal nodded. "Okay. Thanks, Amy. I'll-" Tikal interrupted
herself, the dress getting caught on her spines, forcing her to
separate them. Once the frilly monster had been removed, leaving
her in her usual outfit, Tikal continued. "I'll go do that." She
looked over at Chaos, who got up with a faint look of annoyance
that could only be worn by unwilling boys dragged along
shopping. The two walked over to the racks Amy had indicated,
and started conversing. Something about temporarily removing
pieces of chaos constructs, but it all seemed rather confusing.

Sally looked to Amy with a smug smile she gave a gentle and
elegant princess wave back palm closed before tossing her hair
over her shoulder. She held up the black dress towards Amy as if
to say I can wear this way better than you ever could. Sal was
feeling very b,itchy towards Amy as she sways her hips then
looking towards her friend. "Oh I love your costume. The designs
are very accurate they closely resemble the ancient designs of
the Knuckles Clan. How long did it take to make the costume are
you on your way to a costume ball?" She asked before looking
over the outfit again. "I don't recall a blue sash being part of
tribal dress. That part seems inaccurate I'd get rid of it if I
were you." She said in a haughty tone looking over Tikal.

Tikal blinked at Sally, before smiling obliviously. "Really? I'm
glad you like my outfit." She tilted her head. "And it's good to
know that a part of my culture is still around. The designs were
very nice, weren't they? Most of us would make them ourselves,
you know. It was a bit of a traditional thing." She patted her
skirt, her smile taking a bit of a nostalgic tone. "I remember
that it took me a while to finish getting the pattern right- the
dyes were especially hard to come by, and it didn't help that I
had to make them myself." She paused for a moment, completely
processing Sally's sentence. "Wait. Are you...making fun of me?"
She blinked, looking rather confused.

Sally shook her head and game a small smile. "No dear I'm making
fun of Amy I love your costume." Sally then remembered what
Tikal had said. "Most of us? Dear the entire Knuckles Clan was
wiped out hundreds of years ago. Part of your culture? Are you
an actor of some sort? Surely these dyes cannot be original."
Sally asked astounded.
