Sonic was walking down the street whistling whist holding his
hands behind his head. Sonic was calm and relaxed as always
enjoying the peace he helped to up hold. He looked skyward
admiring the bright blue sky. "Limitless and free." Are the only
words that escaped his lips.

Shoke walked down the sidewalk, wearing a sleeveless yellow
hoodie and a bland white shirt. And... glasses. He was listening
to his music player as he walked along in the opposite direction
that Sonic was walking. It was then that he collided into Sonic
and fell onto the ground surprised.
"Oof! Er... sorry. I wasn't watching were I was headed..." Shoke
looked to see his old ally.
"...Sonic?"

As they collided the music device ended up in Sonic's hands as
he caught it. He looked closer at the device and noted a red
logo reading Nintendo. He made an unimpressed look and tosses
the music player back into Shoke's hands. Sonic looked down and
taps his foot with a smile. "You know Shoke when they say
running into old friends,you really need to take it less
literally." He offered a chuckle before zipping around the Lynx
having him back on his feet. "Say what are you doing here all on
your lonesome. I'd thought you'd be hanging out with Mini Me."

Shoke gave a slight chuckle at Sonic's obliviousness to the fact
that Sapph was his daughter from the future, but quickly
composesd himself.
"Well... I haven't exactly had the time to be around Sapphire,
considering what I've had to deal with as of late." Shoke said,
putting the MP3 player back in his pocket.
"Plus, since I've recently learned of how hot it can get down
here in Mobotropolis, I've had to re-evaluate my wardrobe. Do
you know how hard it is to find a yellow sleeveless hoodie in
Glaciem? It ain't easy, let me tell you." Shoke said the last
part, chortling.
"Anyways, how have you been doing? Last time I saw you was when
I was with Sapph that one time, and considering you aren't
rocketing through the streets, I'm assuming somethings up."
Shoke asked changing the song to some other one from SNK.

Sonic smiled and replied. "Pfft cloths I never have that
problem. I go all natOrel if ya know what I'm saying. Besides
all my shirts kinda burst into flame once I hit 500. Well
sometimes Shoke you just gotta slow down and enjoy the little
things." He then lowered his gaze acting annoyed. "Also my
problem is pink and wears a red dress. You get one guess."

"Pink with a dress?" Shoke put his hand on his chin and looked
up, thinking.
"...I don't think I've ever met anyone like that, sorry dude."
Shoke said as he pushed his glasses closer to his eyes.

He rolled his eyes. "Picture a pink Sapphire only she's a pain
in the ass. Her name is Amy Rose. Good friend but a
little.....well obsessed is an understatement."

Shoke down and shook his head.
"That sounds horrible in every way. Well, the pain in the ass
part. Otherwise, she sounds really nice. Anyways, you wanna go
get something to eat, or maybe some coffee or something?" Shoke
asked, not knowing that Sonic was legally banned from drinking
coffee.

Sonic's eye cracked wide open hearing the mention of caffeine.
"Uhh I'm not allowed to have coffee since the great blue boom of
89. They passed a bill banning any places to sell to me. So yeah
food it is." Sonic started leading the way and turned to Shoke.
"You know I know right? I'm aware she's from the future. Scary
thing is Amy is making it less and less likely she's going to
exist after the stunt she pulled."

"Time doesn't work like that. Come on, I saw a Lactose Prince
near here. I'll explain on the way." Shoke said. Soon, he was
leading Sonic along and was explaining to him how time wasn't
linear and one can't go back and change the future.
"...And because Sapphire exists in this timeline by travelling
back, she made herself imprinted into our dimension. So
technically, she isn't your daughter, she's the daughter of
another Sonic who eventually fell in love with Amy in the
future. You get it now?" Shoke said as he held the door open for
Sonic.
