"Now we know the source of the humming." the ninja said in her
usual formal tone. Her ears folded back at the high-pitched
noise as well as the increased magnitude of the humming,
"Sparks. Electricity. Natural butterflies do not make such
noises. Must be robots. Possibly something Venus uses to spy on
us."
Karahl raised a brow at the other ones moving towards the downed
butterfly, she drew out three kunai in each hand in between her
fingers at the ready. She didn't like that not only there were
so many, but how they moved together in tangent. In her mind she
wanted to wipe them all out, but given that the humming was
coming from the streets as well there must be far, far more.
She prepared herself in case they realised that she was the one
who 'killed' it.

Sy was startled the instant she landed next to him, staring at
her with his shield deployed.
"AGH! Jeeze! I get that you're all ninja-tastic n' all, but does
it gotta end up this close to me?" His eye twitched a bit as he
noted what she had done.
"Mechanical? Well that's certainly new. Think it's tied into why
the folks ain't around tonight?" He gestured to the rest of the
park, still with a bit of adrenaline from when she scared him.

Tthe muscle hybrid ears twitches more as the sound of the
humming seemed to grow louder suddenly without warning and then
the butterfly he was watching seemed to take off in a certain
direction. [That humming noise..it grew louder for some
reason..could the noise come from that butterfly?..I better
follow it] Ty thought to himself as he jogs after the butterfly
and ends up at the spot where Syruchi and Karahl are present and
witnesses a number of them. [looks like Karahl might be in
trouble I better go assist] he thought to himself as he makes
his way over to her.

"Apologies, force of habit." Karahl replied simply, tightening
her grip onto the kunai as she took a step away from Sy and his
shield... it was rather bright, "It's possible that they're
involved with the unusual absence. If that is true, then I will
also assume that they are also linked to the sudden
disappearance of Sonic. Did you catch that news report earlier?"
She gave a single nod towards Ty as he approached them.

"So Karahl..any ideas as to why they are swarming you?" Ty asked
her calmly while focusing his attention the butterflies and
having his hands surrounded in ice and fires a small stream of
ice to try and freeze a small chunk of them to give them some
room.

"It's because I broke one." she replied with a raised brow;
wondering how the butterflies would react to an attempt of being
frozen.

The Emulan gave a shrug. ".....point taken." He relaxed a bit,
the photonized shield closing immediately.
"What news report? I've been chilling with that girl that was
with me last time we met. Can you get me up to speed?"
He quickly noticed Ty, and for an instant, he was preparing to
unholster his weapon in defense, until he realized who it was.
"...oh. Okay. You're not that looney from before.....wait." He
noticed the ice....
".....were YOU the one stalking me?"

The fox rolled his eyes with a sigh.
"Yanno, I'm pretty sure I warned them about exactly this
happening. They shouldn't rely on singular people to save them
all the time. Aaaaand here we are." He huffed, arms folded,
which was...significantly harder to do now that he had a giant
shield on.
"I DID warn them, you know!" He gave a somewhat annoyed pout.

Karahl eyed his new shield, then glanced up to the one in the
sky, "Did you make that? If so, would you have any ideas on how
to rid the city of the colossal one? It is the use of Firewalls,
yes?"
