Act Two FINAL [Arkham Memorial Cemetery]
By: Mother Venus Date: May 2, 2014, 12:39 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Eventually she reached the metal gates outside of a cemetary.
She slowly walked into them, the chao slowly following beside
its Mother and handing her the bouqet of Forget Me Nots.
With a long inhale and exhale, the Knockout Mouse made her way
to a Tombstone, it was away from others, a bit of a far off
grassy field.
The tombstone read;
'Here lies Vanessa Bell.
Sweet little Angel who loved to Tinker.
Always kind and a Wishful Thinker.'
It seemed the grave was well kept, there was a small pot of
Light Blue and Purple Hydrengias that held over a deactivated
robot.
She kneeled down, untying the baby blue ribbon from her hair,
allowing the rather messy bun to fall to to the ground.
"...Hello Clunk..." She whispered, unraveling an a rather old
ribbon, picking out a hankerchief from her purse as she wiped
him down, until he looked as well kept as he could've before,
She traced a finger against any rusting or cracking parts to
him, easily repairing him with her technomancy.
Eventually she tied the blue ribbon around the robot's neck, as
she then set the bouquet of flowers on the front of the grave.
"..Hello Vanessa..." she whispered, slowly standing up.
"I'm so sorry I couldn't come much sooner... Mommy had to deal
with more unruly Mobians."
She paused, slowly setting the hankerchief back into her purse.
"I don't have much to talk about this time... But please know...
that time of Peace... a time where no one would ever have the
same fate as you... It's gonna happen."
Her voice trembled a little.
"...Mommy is gonna try her best to make it happen. Everything in
her Power."
She took another deep breath, "...I do not understand why you
were so fond of heroes... I wish I could've understood better...
Please forgive me for still not understanding..."
Galeno took the time to carefully latch onto Venus' left arm,
carefully hugging her.
"But... I suppose I will. Perhaps I could. If they acted as you
imagined them to be."
She shook her head, "Mommy... Just misses you, Angel... Your
birthday is coming up soon isn't it? You'll be eight this
year... won't you?..."

The muscular hybrid walked in the cemetery and stood a good
distance behind Venus..he comes in unarmed this time. Not a
single katanna sword on his back nor his sniper rifle he carries
around he looks at the grave Venus is looking at and he didn't
utter a single word. After reading the grave that said [Here
lies Vanessa Bell Sweet Little Angel who loved to Tinker Always
kind and a Wishful Thinker] The usually stoic hybrid shows a
degree of sadness he looks back at Venus and his ears lowered
and looking down at the ground and closes his eyes.

Blaze had traveled at a much slower pace as he arrived at the
cemetery where he saw Ty and Venus standing. Venus stood by a
grave while Ty stood a good distance away. it was like he was
giving Venus time to grieve. Something Blaze hadn't done in
while since him and Ty's parents died. he had been completely
slient the entire time as he made his way inside. Taking a look
at the grave, Blaze's ears dropped faster than he realized.
Veira who also made herself known frown a bit at the sight as
well. Being tied to the spirit world all she could do was close
her eyes and bow in sadness at the sight to show respect.

She continued to speak the grave as if speaking to a child.
To speak about her robotic siblings and what they have learned;
That Simon made a new friend, Kino was hurt...
She ommitted Speaking about who did it.
Portoka learning to build components on her own...
And Galeno... as he is now.
She spoke about a few pondering Algorithms...
Nothing the average mobian would undestand but something
geniuses...
Or in the case of this situation... A mother and daughter would
understand.
She didn't notice Galeno turn to look away, glancing at the two
hybrids, and immediately start to tremble, as he detatched
himself and fluttered towards Ty.
She continued her careful summary to the grave.
Galeno tilted his head, a small sheepish smile on the Hero
chao's face.
"H...hello again..." He whispered to Ty, as looked to Venus.
"Mother is talking to Vanessa at the moment... we can try and
play another day.. right? I don't have to protect my siblings at
the moment.. Portoka is doing that~"

The muscular hybrid sprung a warm smile across his face he was
relived to see the small chao alive and well. "hey little guy
and I'm sorry for grabbing you so suddenly at the plant..I
wanted to make sure you didn't get burned alive but I'm glad you
are safe.."..he said to him in a gentle whisper. "Vanessa
huh..is she a relative?..if so I'm..sorry for her loss" he said
to Galeno in a whisper.

"I was ok.. I mean... Mr. Dun made this collar for me... and it
protects me... so I wasn't hurt at all!" He exclaimed quietly.
He had his little hand to his mouth and murmured, "Vanessa was
my sister... my sibling... Mother Adopted her a.. yearish ago? "

asked the chao in a whisper..

---------------------------------------------------------
A distant figure watched the events unfold. He was plainly
outfitted in a dull black and red uniform, a mask bearing the
Dominion emblem covering his face. His dark blue eyes were the
only clue to who he was, staring indifferently at Venus as
she... talked, to the grave of her late adopted daughter.
Ajax continued to stand there, motionless, and watched without
emotion, his newest order from Hackel. For a moment, his gaze
turned to Ty and Galeno, but it returned to Venus without
notice. He was to try and understand her view of things;
something he resented at the moment, but an order was an order.
He was not to speak. He was not to leave. He was to listen and
watch obediently. Perhaps with her attention turned to something
else, other than scrutinizing others for their natural flaws,
he'd be able to bear it. He was still disgusted by her public
actions, but here, she seemed different. This was the first time
she had shown any genuine interest and concern for someone other
than her precious AI.
He listened carefully, grimacing at her words; the mother who
wanted to so desperately remove heroes from the world, yet loved
a daughter who might have very well denounced her for it. She
called them unreasonable, yet sought out an impossible peace.
She called their thinking illogical, yet demanded this of
herself. She chose to dwell over the past after scolding him for
doing so. She had contradicted everything she had said.
Still, he wondered; why would she seek such a goal that went
against her beloved daughter's wishes? She was an enigma, never
ceasing to find a new way to present herself. This was why she
had created her 'children', no doubt. But why go to such
lengths?.. Why did she feel herself fit to demand her vision be
seen, when she very well could be destroying it herself?..
He stood still, and continued to watch...

A hooded familiar figure was standing next to Ajax, watching as
well. She suddenly started to feel remorse, her gem turning
bluish green. She looked over to the masked figure, and put a
paw on his shoulder. "Hey, sir, are you alright?" She asked,
even though she was the one feeling emotionally changed.

Ajax nodded, recognizing Amaryllis' voice. He was tempted to not
respond any other way, as to follow his orders by the letter,
but he could speak softly enough that Venus would not hear him.
"Do you ever wonder what it is like to know you could do
nothing?.." His voice was a whisper, slightly lower and
brooding it seemed. "As much as she may try to deny it, she is
no different than us; we all are born, and we all die. It is the
great equalizer, it seems."
He turned, his eyes locking with hers for a moment. "I realize
now that she was right about one thing, at least; we must not
dwell on the past. We must forgive and renew..." His eyes
closed, an involuntary action perhaps, as he faced back towards
Venus. "I will forgive... I must..."
