Lego Movie Rant
So the Lego Movie I HATED IT. And here’s why
So to start with Lego Batman acted like a tool, people openly
disrespected him a quote from Emit was Batman is the worst guy
ever. “EXCUSE ME YOU WORTHLESS S,HITTY CONSTRUCTION WORKER KNOW
YOUR PLACE.” The movie was great to look at and fun until about
the end of act two where the place where the Master builders met
blew up. This was the part that really got to me. Superman,
Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and a Ninja Turtle were all defeated
and captured. THE JUSTICE LEAGUE was defeated and captured by
ships and a police officer. ARE YOU F,UCKING KIDDING ME! The
Justice League the Gods of the DC Universe were beaten by a
Police Officer. Not to mention Superman due to his Kryptonian
physiology should have been able to shoot smash and take them
all on alone. He didn’t shoot lasers or anything act valiant or
lead the charge like I would expect of the Man of Steel. They
catch Superman and he can’t break out of simple handcuffs
Bulls,hit.
This movie makes a mockery of the JLA (Justice League of
America) numinous times not to mention my favourite member
Batman. Over the course of the movie they insult Batman various
times and he even gets his woman stolen. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
Batman takes other peoples women. It is widely known Bruce is a
womanizing playboy who has many women fall for his charms. They
also demote the great Hal Jorden (Green Lantern) to an annoying
hanger on. And to cap of this insult three more remaining
things. They blow up the Batmobile and the Invisible Jet which
are both meant to be near indestructible.
And here is the killer kicker it is implied The Flash died in
the bad guy’s tower when only Metal beard escaped. The
incarnation of Batman left much to be desired for a good
incarnation of a Lego Batman and the rest of DC heroes, look no
further than the video game Lego Batman 2:DC Super Heroes
version of the character. That Batman was both brooding funny
and a charming character. To the movies credit is was colourful
fun and very creative with good animation. I feel the story fell
apart after act two and the cast of characters was either
straight up terrible or grossly underutilized. I hate Emit with
a passion and after a conversation with my girlfriend I agree
with her idea of placing him in a Robin sidekick type of roll
would have worked better.
F,uck this movie I wasted my money.

-Terrible writing
-Gross misuse of DC heroes
-Dumb plot
-Making fun of Batman
+Fun
+Good Animation
+Vibrant and colorful
+Exciting

I can definitely see why you disliked this movie.
Also word of advice, the 2nd movie was even worse. Spare
yourself the misery and don't see the 2nd one.
Mainly because the 2nd one makes cool and edgy characters look
bad, and I hate that philosophy.
