       Project:Shadow, a  project attempt to create the Ultimate
       Lifeform. Created by Dr.Ivo.Robotnik. After many crushing and
       humiliating defeats at the hands of Sonic, Robotnik realized
       that when his plans went array it was his weak body that failed
       him.So he decided to go local and construct himself a Mobien
       body.Using DNA from Sonic and foreign Black Arm DNA he collected
       from a lost space archive he created Project:Shadow in the image
       of Sonic. After his last body was destroyed in a battle with
       Princess Constance he uploaded his brainwaves into a new shell
       and has in part become what he always fought against.
       Powers and abilities
       During the creation process Dr.Robotnik was unable to duplicate
       Sonic's speed.Still posing his great intellect he created a pair
       of rocket hover boots. These allow him to glide along the air
       and travel as fast as a car. Shadow also commands Chaos powers
       through a direct link to the Chaos Force. In addition to this
       his new body has heightened strength and stamina allowing him to
       fight beyond his limits and smash through brick with ease.
