"She has always been like this. However... Yes. How she is now
is a little different. But the ONLY reason she ever acts so
reclusive is if she is angry.. if she is..."
He breathed deeply, this seemed like a Much more extreme way of
how she was acting with the first miscarriage.
"I know my wife. She is Mobian, of course she can hide things...
but at this point all we can do IS wonder. To guess... to
Suggest.. But Berating her like a common criminal... as if SHE
had something to do with YOUR pain is the most pedantic a'ss
       thing I have EVER heard."
He opened the bag of food to notice a can of beer.
...The usual can of Beer he'd buy.
       "...How did you.."
[... IN THIS CURRENT PREDICAMENT SHE FELT IT WAS FINE.]
He looked over to the chao and gave a wiry smile again,
"Ehehe... Beer is better with Grading Papers and Pizza buuut I
       guess so.."
He opened the beer, and kept a finger over the top so the
       alcohol wouldn't float about.
"I'm sorry that you had that experience mate, and I'm not trying
to do a one-up game about who had the worst pain because that's
childish. But YOU need to open your heart instead of using your
       past to keep assuming."
He quickly took a few swallows of the beer,
"...Because I've been all sorts of depressed when learned about
the Miscarriages, and Dora's death... I mean... eheh.. I thought
it was My fault. I... kinda think everything is my fault that is
       going on here so, sorry."
He unwrapped the burger, "But as you can tell, I don't dwell on
it, and NO. I'm not an acholic... I actually learned a few ways
       to cope with Grief."

"No... Don't be sorry." For a moment, Ajax hadn't even caught
that he had said those words. It was a short thought, but he
continued on it. "I use my past as an excuse to keep going, to
make sure something like that doesn't happen again. I guess I
came to the conclusion a bit early, feeling that she would be
doing the same thing they did. I can't stand the idea."
He pulled out his pocket watch, opening it to look at the
picture inside and let it simply float in the air. "Maybe all I
really want is just proof that she's not like that. Something to
make me believe. But when all she does it look at me with stone
cold eyes, all I can do is assume that... she just doesn't care
about anyone but her machines. All I want is something to prove
       me wrong about that..."
       He fiddled with the IV bag, thinking about what he was saying;
he almost never let himself be persuaded, but something about
the professor... "Everything you've said might not be proof, but
       I guess it's a start."

It had been almost two hours...
The Professor had finished his Beer and burger... and had combed
       through the newspaper rather fast.
He had been half asleep, face planted against the sphere and his
       glasses floating about.
He never noticed the quiet, always careful sounds of ankle boots
       against the cold tile floor.
"....Good to see you clearly haven't changed. Still very
       slobbish"
"Mmmmhm?" He blinked, as he looked over towards the
black-trenchcoat wearing knockout mouse in front of him.
"..Dora...? OH MY GOODNESS IT REALLY IS YOU!" he exclaimed as he
woke right up, moving himself to float in front of her, the
largest smile on his face as he watched her eagerly.
"I am SO sorry for the fight, I shouldn't have said any of those
       awful things to you.."
       "Arthur..."
"..And I should've taken account to your feelings! I mean we
just tried again and I know how mentally exhausted you were and
how you were so eager to work on that Aritificial
       intelligence...."
       "..Arthur."
"I mean looking at these little buggers flying about and how
happy they seem to be about you I should've known better than to
       open my big mouth."
       Venus' eye twitched, "Arthur!"
"Yes Dora?" He said, smiling brightly.
       "...Shut up."
"Oh of course my precious little Bell~ You still have have such
a cute tone in your voice by the way~"
She rolled her Eyes, as the orange-lined chao returned to her
side, and held out her tablet.
"..Status on the common Variable, Portoka..."
[VARIABLE HAS SUSTAINED DAMAGE FROM DOCTOR ROBOTNIK. FRACTURED
RIBS. ESTIMATED TIME OF RECOVERY 6-8 MONTHS.]
She shook her head as she walked towards Ajax's bubble, Her
eyes, and hands began to glow yellow, then a calm green as the
sphere began to be also engulfed in a warm green glow.
"..And I bet I was blamed for Ivo's idiocy as well wasn't I? No
matter... he is out of the picture and I do not have to hear
that grating... obnoxious voice any longer... He won't have any
way to harm any of you as he is offline."

Soon static could be heard as Robotnik patched into Venus's
communications. It soon faded and the doctor's displeased voice
boomed in her ear just as she assumed his demise.
[shadow=red, left]"YOU RANCID LITTLE C,UNT. YOU DARE TO CROSS
DR.IVO.ROBOTNIK AFTER I HAVE DONE YOU A KINDNESS!? Listen well
Theodora nobody shall have the honor of enslaving Sonic but me.
I will kill you and your children but first you will suffer a
terrible fatal death." [/shadow] Robotnik was about halfway
through reprogramming the robotocizer. As he clacked away at the
keys he continued his voice harsh with hatred.
[shadow=red, left]"I will pull apart your chao children one by
one. I'll force you to watch as their pathetic synthetic screams
       scour your soul." [/shadow]

Ajax glanced up to Venus, watching with his head still partially
down as she approached them. Wincing slightly, he responded, "I
do not blame you for his hostility... You may work with him, but
he has always been that way..." He propped himself upward, the
IV tucked inside his shirt, and finally brought himself to look
her in the eye. "Why did you bring me here?.. I would think that
you'd rather have me done away with..."
It was then that Robotnik's voice flooded the room, and he shook
his head. "It looks you were quick to assume his demise,
Venus... He is as persistent as they come..."

       [Color=purple]"Goodness." [/color]A well-dressed badger stepped
up beside Venus, eyeing Arthur and Ajax. "He is a hostile one,
       isn't he? I'm a bit let down." [/COLOR]Morgan laughed.
[Color=purple]"I was actually a bit excited to meet the infamous
       Dr Robotnik. Disappointing."
He swivelled to smile at Arthur. "So this is where you got to."

He blinked, as he frowned a little, "Oi! You Prick! It wasn't
cool taking me like that and almost breakin a rib! I'd be happy
to knock you off your socks! Now don't you EVER call Dora such
an unruly anything! Ever!" The professor barked out, obviously
       very protective of his wife.
His attention went to the tall and dapper Badger as he squeaked
out, "Morgan! Oh I'm so happy to see you again, Mate! You see
that right?! She's ALIVE. How WILD is that!?" He beamed.

Her eyes narrowed, as her ear twitched. Her hands was still on
       Ajax' sphere;
The warm green glow... was an odd side effect she seemed to have
around the green chaos emerald, almost instantaneously healing
those she touched with its ability, as she did with Sonic
       countless times.
"It seems I was incorrect... Pardon me... this won't take long
to readdress my algorithm." Venus muttered as she closed her
eyes and kept focus on healing the Lynx for another few minutes,
       as she opened her eyes.
"Done. And Idle Threats, Ivo. It seems that you have been taken
out of the picture.. yet again. Goddess. Have the Good Doctor's
technological anything sent out to an isolated system."
The tablet that Portoka held held an odd arch-like symbol.
       [UNDERSTOOD MOTHER. ANYTHING ELSE?]
"No. Have things run as normal and if Ivo wishes to misbehave a
bit of a nap seems his best option."
       [UNDERSTOOD.]
Venus finally removed her hands, "There. As outlandish as this
seems you should have little to no problems breathing. But as
usual, it seems you assume me to be a villain. Like those so
called heroes in the park you constantly twist my intentions. It
       is rude."

Ajax looked around him, the green glow a somewhat alluring
sight. He felt the pain subside, looking at himself in
confusion. He was speechless for a moment, listening to Venus
attentively. "Why help me when I have spoken against you?..
Would you not be disgusted by me?.." He lowered his head.
"I misjudged you, yes... But you are still a riddle to me... Why
did you bring me here, why did you care for my injuries?.. Why
would you have any interest in me, a 'common variable'?"
