[????] Mobotropolis General Hospital.

The hospital wasn't as bustling as it was the previous week from
the mass genocides of the Canines, Hedgehogs and Lynxes.
In fact though there were people in the ER from the panic from
the day before it was generally quiet and serene.
There was a plump possum lady Mobian with her nametag that said
Mimi, who greeted and asked anyone if they were there to visit
or to be in the ER.

Ajax was sitting in one of the chairs at the door, unconscious
and unaware of where he was. There was no memory of anything
past leaving the power plant; he had limped in holding his side
and fallen into place, as if waiting for someone to notice.
Occasionally one of his ears or a finger would twitch, but he
was otherwise motionless as he slumped in the seat. At one
point. he let out a short groan in pain and flickered into a
conscious state, only to faint once more into what easily could
have been called a trance or coma. There was no evidence of his
injury, a number of ribs fractured from his earlier fall.

When she realized that the Lynx made out painful sounds..
She called for a few passing EMSs to check on him.
"If he is making painful sounds... we'll wheel him into a room.
Take a look a look at him."
Mimi nodded, as she wrote down a small description of him in
case anyone went looking for him.
He was taken onto a gurney, quickly moved to an empty room to be
attacked to a heart monitor, as his heartbeat and breathing was
measured.
"His breathing is hollow and ragged." One EMS muttered,
The other carefully opened his top and remarked, "Well... his
fur looks a little dark in this area..." the other muttered,
with careful and cautious feeling touched about his chest.

As the EMS inspected him, the mere touching of his left torso
caused him to instinctively wince in pain, although there was
still no sign of consciousness and his breathing remained
haggard. His ears continued to twitch, but was relatively
motionless.

As soon as Soul and Ajax got out of the power plant he rushed
Ajax to the hospital, he settled him down at the chair and
looked around for someone who could help them the next minute,
Ajax was gone. He saw a few EMS making their way to a room, so
he followed them and saw the lynx. "Ajax!"

They watched him carefully, as one EMS applied pressure.
"Geh... it is loose here where there should be ribs in place.
Fractured ribs maybe? We need to take him to the X-Ray Lab..."
They moved the Gurney out of another room and the other looked
to the Cyan hedgehog, "Sorry, you need to wait out here. Your
friend will be fine~"
With that the two hurried off down the hallway towards an
elevator towards another part of the lab.

Unaware of what was happening, Ajax continued to lay
unconscious; however, hearing the call of his friend managed to
elicit a response. "Natasha... Safe..." The words floated out as
a faint whisper, aimed to Soul's ears alone.

((Sorry Juuuuust gonna speed things up~ this post is basically a
bit of a summary~ ))
When the EMS brought him to the lab, and with some help from
some doctors it was finalized that yes... the Lynx had a few
fractured ribs.
The best to do in that situation was to have him stay overnight
and not move.
He was moved to a room next to another checked in lynx from the
other night...
Connected to an IV that was carefully bringing painkillers to
his body.
There was no quick fix way to repair fractured ribs...

Soul heard the faint whispers of the lynx as the EMS carried
Ajax off to the lab. He went into a deep thought worrying about
Ajax and Matasha now that both are in the hospital. He kept
pacing outside the room waiting and thinking.

Ajax lay obediently, oblivious to the pacing hedgehog outside.
However, his neighbor was a bit more lively. Light whistling
could be heard, as if trying to get Soul to enter the room. It
was Natasha, bandaged long ago, wondering if the familiar face
would be willing to talk with her, to indulge her heart with
friendly banter.
At one point, she finally just called out to him. "Hey, mister!
What are ya' doin', pacing around like that?"
