(Hey there Rayla sorry to say but you can't just waltz into this
thread. Picture Venus as like the level boss everyone has been
fighting very hard to power through the levels to get to her.
She currently has Sonic under mind control and it's not very
fair to the others if you skip the level and jump straight into
the boss battle.)

He cleared his throat and stepped forward. "Mother I know you
dislike displays of affection and Mobien interaction.But might I
request a hug please. If you would have me I will fill out the
usual forms."

She tilted her head and breathed deeply, he was under full
control now.. why not humor him.
As a reward.
"..Here." She muttered as she stepped forward and carefully
hugged him, though it was meant to be brief... it lingered for
much longer and the embrace tightened.

Maurice gently placed his arms around Venus and was caught by
surprise as she tightened her grip. The power ring around her
wrist touched Sonic and his true self returned. Yet he didn't
pull away this was...nice.Sonic had never had a mother and this
was the closest thing.

She breathing was slowed, deep... as she closed her eyes her
ears lowered and she simply couldn't quite let go..
She could be as cold as she pleased.
Show her genius, place those variables under her thumb and allow
her vision to shine brightly~!
...But.
Today.
That could fall apart if she couldn't get through this day.
She never noticed the power ring touch sonic.

Sonic slowly wraps his fingers around the ring hanging from her
wrist. He pulls Venus closer and and whispers not very far from
her ear. "Venus don't do this. You are a good person kind to.
It's not too late to turn back. We can just tell the police a
rouge hacker was using your identity to make those broadcasts.
I'll stand by you but you've got to stop this before it goes to
far." Sonic now tightly grasped the ring with one hand and
embraced her with the other to show comfort.
"Look I know how you feel now after being subjected to listening
to your side of the story.And I'm sorry I can't be there to save
everybody but I do my best.This isn't what Vanessa would want
for you. She would want you to be happy. You gave her the Mother
she never had and that's something they can never take away from
you." Treasure the moments you had don't waste away trying to
bring back whats gone. You were the only person In Vanessa's
life who filled the void of a mother. And who knows some others
might feel the same way about you."
The blue hedgehog removed the glasses from his nose and dropped
them onto the ground.
"Venus.....we can work together to make your goals a reality but
not like this." He started to shake a bit not wanting to succumb
to her control again he hated the way it felt. Like picking up
foggy shattered memories. "Please give me the ring. The only
thing worse than this would be being Roboticized." He shuddered
at the thought.

Her eyes had snapped opened and her ears raised a bit as she
listens to him.
With his current personality shift he shouldn't have much
thought into his own strength.
She held a hidden glare in her eyes, "What could you have done?"
she hissed, "YOU knew nothing about it. At least I tried... I
tried... and I continue to try..."
She was starting to hiccup a bit, surprisingly small fingers
gripped onto him.
"How would YOU know what she wanted. This is NECESSARY. No other
sweet innocent child has to fear another... simply because the
other sought AMUSEMENT from abusing her!"
She suddenly pulled back, her face not...
Cold.
Instead under her white fur was an obvious reddening again her
cheeks. Tears streaming down her face. She held a dangerous look
on her face, one that only an overprotective mother would ever
hold.
"I am not wasting anything. I have kept going even after her
death. SHE DIDN'T DESERVE IT." She hissed, Shaking her head "And
after I am finished with my vision... No more. Not ever... Not
again."
She snatched her hand away from him,
"...Now pick up your glasses, Maurice, you will need them to
finish your studies."

As she pulled away Sonic begun to panic frantically.
"Venus....nononononon NO!" He reached out to snatch at her wrist
but the moment she pulled away the effects kicked back in again.
"please........" He almost whispered as his eyes go from green
to gold. Sonic had tried his best to stop this and would now
bear the burden of his failure. He fell to his knees as the chip
once more shattered his past and buried his will. His fingers
slowly wrap around the glasses as he stands.

Her gaze... full of hate and loathing is what Sonic would see
before the Mother's Perfect prodigal Son Returned. She turned
from him, touching that power ring,
Her eyes narrowed.
...Was it the prescience of this ring that allowed him to
resist?
She looked back to him in the corner of her eyes, her mind
easily eager to figure out the ring's properties MUCH more.
...This was his fault after all.
Vanessa looked up to him, and He couldn't save her.
She shook her head.
No.
Do not allow such emotions to cloud your thoughts.
It was your fault, Theodora. This could've never happened..
Vanessa would've still been here if You simply left the house
earlier!
She breathed deeply, quickly masking previous pain as she turned
back to Maurice.
"Tell me, Maurice... What do you know about Robotization?"
