"I am dreadfully sorry Mother for presenting myself to you in
such poor condition. I should be in my glasses and black suit
shoes." Sonic slinks away carefully ashamed of his actions.

He slinks back having changed into the mentioned cloths before.
He smiles now a little calmer and better presented. "Mother is
it time for lessons yet?" He would ask her as he pushed his
glasses up his nose.

"Lessons..." She closed her eyes, a small smile on her face as
she made note of his attire.
She looked to shard, "Do not make me repeat what you know is
obvious. I already tire of repeating myself after the Common
Variables from the other night." she remarked. "You have a
visual and audio memory bank. Just like Metal Sonic I am sure. I
won't repeat myself."
She walked towards the lab door, "If you like Maurice, I will be
happy to teach you in Olympus."

He nods and places his hand behind his head. "Wonderful Mother.
I shall not disappoint." He followed little did he know he was
sealing his own fate by stepping into the laboratory.

"I'm sorry Venus, I won't let it happen again" He rubbed the
back of his head, he was hoping more of the specifics, but it
seems Venus was unwilling to share. He looked at 'Maurices' new
look. honestly, he couldn't make heads or tails of it. It was
just as confusing as the nerdy glasses he put on.
I'm supposed to be a copy of that guy?
He kept that thought to himself, "Alright, this is just plain
weird, What just happened?"
He shook his head, raking his mind over this, "You know what, he
isn't ragging on me. I'm happy. Is there anything you'd like me
to do, or talk about Venus?"

"So Mother what shall we be studying today? Manners,machines,how
you like your tea?" Maurice kept his hands behind his back as he
stood straight in Mother's presence.He made sure to also open
any doors for her on the way to the deeper part of the lab.He
would fuss over his mother even going so far as to zoom off and
again again holding a parsole over her head to protect her eyes
and fair skin from too much light.

"No shard... Nothing else I suppose. I need to give a Lesson to
Maurice... I am afraid I have other errands to run... so I will
be outside of the Lab today." She muttered, as she looked to
Maurice, "Let's start with social understanding... shall we?"
She asked as she headed out of lab one and towards the door to
Olympus.

"Alright Venus, I'll catch ya later then!" With that he kicked
off his thrusters and flew out of the lab. He stopped a min
before heading out the door. He opened his arm to reveal a
plushie he got for Venus, "Hey Venus, I got this for you as
thanks for sometime ago, I know you're mad at me, but I wanted
to at least leave you this!" Shard dropped it by the door and
soon flew off

"Social understanding!? Ohhh dear I do so loathe interacting
with others who are not you Mother. But you always know best."
Maurice followed tripping over his own feet to only get back up
and run after Venus as he follows her to the divine lab on high.

She smiled lightly as the Olympus doors opened.
"To understand others... One must learn about them."
The illuminated hexagonal plates lit up, as if to greet the
mother.
"We are currently dealing with those who see my vision as...
wrong."
She waved her hand as there were dozens of holographic screens;
Showing previous and current positions of the variables.
"We have three classes of Variables. Most Mobians... and a lot
of those who which for my vision not to be... are called Common
Variables. They are predictable. Thick headed and are quite
selfish and/or violent. That was obvious when the citizens of
this city were quick to panic over my words... and much more
when the lot of those who question my vision as if I am about to
do something horrid."
She breathed deeply, to quickly recompose yourself.
"But you know otherwise, yes, Maurice?"
