Sy's glare softened as he took extra effort to reel in his
hot-headed nature, which was a bit harder than he thought, but
he was no less displeased. "Nyxus, your words and intentions
were back-and-forth. You made no sense, and you and I have a
completely different perspective to the situation. I know well
what I heard. Kinda hard to forget, bud."
Hearing her remark, he just gave her a light smirk. "Yeah, you
could say that. I'll be outside if ya need me." He closed the
door behind him, taking this opportunity to be amongst his
thoughts.
The moment the entry door closed behind him, he pinched his
brow, it felt like his brain was throbbing, as he popped open
his Photon Point Monitor, which read a steady 100/100. No hacks,
no abnormalities. Good, he thought to himself. I get time to
make up for my mistake, I suppose.

"Eh.... one of the misfortunes of being misunderstood. But what
can you do?" He sips his coffee,
"[b][color=limegreen]Honestly... I don't know what he's even
talking about. Wish we could talk it out. But there's more
serious matters afoot isn't it?"

Magnolia nodded, setting up a kettle, and going through a unique
library of teas, picking out a bug, and honey.
As the Kettle had the water boiling, as she smiled and swayed a
bit, once more in a trance of thought.
"Heeeeey. Sooo, Did you want anything else?" She asked, the
masked Hedgehog.

Udiya raised an eyebrow again, "...Instead of saying whatever
try oh I dunno FIXING whatever misunderstanding you had." She
wiped down a table as she kept to her frown a bit, "I dunno
about serious matters... From what I saw on the news the Police
and Royal Guard have this under control. They just want
information."

"No thank you, ma'am." Hackel's ear twitched when he heard Udiya
mention the police and guard; was she talking about the search
for Venus? It was a misconception to believe they had anything
under control, at this point. He would have to listen more.

The young fox leaned on the entryway to the diner, facing the
street with tired eyes. How long HAD he been awake for when last
night rolled around? Three days? Four? He was surprised he
lasted this long, given the goings-on since he arrived.
Everything looked average, straightforward. Nothing out of
order, and certainly no chaos about. It was...weird. Almost
discomforting. It was like reality was tempting him to handwave
the previous evening as a dream, or a hallucination.
He automatically dismissed it, noting to himself that to be such
would be the biggest cliche he'd ever encountered, even moreso
than certain previous events. However, he had a feeling he knew
where to start, to properly make up for his fumbles the night
before, for both Udiya for her trouble, and Venus for his
cock-sure attitude causing more problems than solutions.
Once again, the first step was the hardest, and once again, he
wished he had known engineering....

"Good point..." He finished coffee and set it down with some
cash, "Thankyou, you helped me see a different view of this."
[sub]i want information too[/sub] he gets up and starts head to
Syruchu, "Hey... Mind if I talk to you for a min?"

The fox's brow hardened, as any notion of the evening being some
sort of dream was torn from his thoughts. He refused to make eye
contact.
"Tread carefully, I already have enough to concern myself with."
His gaze was fixed on the street, arms folded.
"I do not need wishy-washy, illogical nonsense troubling me
further. What is it?"

His expression had no change to it.
"You've already made a golden start for yourself with that
little discussion you had inside, so....good luck, and start
talkin'."
