How... interesting.
The Answer was... vague.
But there are times when Actions speak louder than words.
Soyagouka was... useful for once.
Did he understand?
Curiouser and Curiouser...
The Photon Fox's Photon Point Monitor flickered again, this time
not with the image of a mouse...
But an arc-like visage.
Where the message began... had stopped him in a near abandoned
portion of the City, usually heavily guarded... it seemed as
though the crown wanted their people in other locations.
[GREETINGS ORGANIC.] The voice Introduced itself [YOU WISH TO
SEEK MOTHER? MIGHT I ASK... ARE YOUR WORDS TRUE? IS YOUR RESOLVE
AS YOU SEE IT?]

Syruchi immediately glanced down at his monitor, a light huff
showing on his face, cheeks puffed up in light frustration.
"You know, I really DO need that to stay the way it was
default-ly made.....it's kinda a life meter!" He pouted,
skidding to a stop rather...gracelessly at the base of the
plant, almost tripping over his board as a result.
Once he had his bearings, he glanced at the new hud. The
huffy-face had faded.
"Why would I falter now? Aside from the panic and hacking, has
this 'Mother' caused any worse? Wether or not I agree with her,
I wish to, at the very least, understand what she's doing, and
why." Hs looked around at the power plant.
Indeed, these were usually heavily secured. Why was this place
so damn empty? More importantly....
".....before we continue, I have one question." His expression
was incredibly serious, stern even.
"....is there a vending machine nearby? Please tell me there's a
vending machine nearby..."

[...DULY NOTED.] The voice remarked, [MOTHER WANTS ONLY PEACE.
THE REASONING ENOUGH IS SIMPLE. I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO SPEAK TO
YOU. AS YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT MOTHER CONSIDERS WHAT SHE WISHES TO
STOP. MOTHER HAS CAUSED NOTHING TO WARRANT ANY VIOLENCE.]
[APOLOGIES I CANNOT TELL YOU WHERE SUCH A THING WOULD BE. WITHIN
THIS AREA THERE IS A MESS HALL... HOWEVER THAT IS INSIDE THE
PLANT.] The voice also remarked.

The fox nodded quietly, as he put his Hover Glider under his arm
once more.
"I'm flattered, and I've yet to see anything that contradicts
what you're telling me. And I understand why I can't just stride
in and SEE her...let's use the green robed dude back in town as
an example. Jumping to conclusions, a potential threat." He
muttered, pinching his brow.
"Through my trip in the city, I had yet to see a single person
die. Looks like at worst there was minor vandalism, and panic.
But...why's this place completely empty? And...." His serious
expression faltered again, ".....how do I get in? I MUST see if
the mess hall has drinks..."
His gaze was on the door, but it wasn't bestial, or angry. He
looked like he was obsessing...over drinks.

MOTHER.] The voice remarked, [BUT THIS IS TO MAKE SURE THEY DO
NOT DO ANYTHING VIOLENT OR RASH. AFTER ALL. THE CROWN ITSELF IS
FULL IF UNRULY AND UNDERHANDED NOBILITY.]
There was a pause, as a door suddenly opened. [THERE IS YOUR
ENTRY WAY. MOTHER IS CURRENTLY OCCUPIED WITH TESTING. I AM HER
DIRECT LINK TO HER.]
There was another pass [ANARCHY... AND CHAOS... COMMON QUEUES ON
THE PATH TO PEACE. IT WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF. MOBIANS ARE
PREDICTABLE.]

As it spoke, if it could see through the monitor, it was going
to see Syruchi BARRELING into the plant, and making a beeline
straight to the Mess Hall, with little little regard for what
was around him. He was looking for just one thing.
And within just a few moments.....SUCCESS! Syruchi discovered
the Mess Hall! And it was not safe from his utter desire for
beverages. With a dramatic grab and sweep, he flung the fridge
open, and much to his absolutely ecstatic delight, there were
indeed sodas within! He took three and began to glug down the
first.
"SODA! HONEST TO MOBIUS SODA! THE BEST ELIXIR ON THE PLANET,
THERE IS NONE BETTER!" He shouted triumphantly, downing the
first can in a matter of seconds.
"I figure as much with the nobility though. *Glug* I
mean......that whole problem with established power, it has a
high probability...*Glug*...of corruption within, right?" He
savored the second can, still overjoyed.
"I'm just worried about the populace. I know people don't like
change, so this can be an expected outcome. But....well, I just
hope everything stays within control and we don't end up with a
massacre." He saved the third soda as an emergency ration, his
glow significantly brighter now that he had a beverage.
"Thanks for the soda, by the way. That. Was. DELICIOUS."

[IT IS NOTED THAT MOBIANS CANNOT TAKE WELL TO PEACE. THAT HAS
BEEN MONITORED IN EVERY VISUAL AND AUDIO RELAY MOTHER HAS FOUND.
A PITY.]
It seemed the visual was taking notes on the Fox's mannerisms.
[MOTHER HAD MADE MENTION OF THIS. THE SECOND REASON FOR THE
CROWN'S HOSTILITY. A MASSACRE IS UNLIKELY TO HAPPEN.]

The fox sighed softly, taking the last few sips of the second
can.
"It is, but surely it can happen, right? Peace can be obtained,
no?"
He stopped within an instant, ears flat. "So wait. Are you
saying.....that they're being this way BECAUSE a massacre won't
happen? Is that what you're telling me?" He looked confused.
"Can you tell me more, bud? I don't think I'm getting what you
mean."

It paused again as if to record more information, [PEACE CAN
ALWAYS BE OBTAINED WITH DEDICATION. WHAT QUESTIONS DO YOU HAVE?]

The fox blinked. "Nonono, I mean.....how do I say it. It's not
the people I'm worried about." He looked through the fridge,
finding himself a small bite to eat, at least to tide me over,
with a quiet mention to whoever owned the meal.
"Sorry about eatin' your food, pal. If you find me, I'll
reimburse ya, I swear.....anywho." He turned his attention to
the Frame again.
"You said that the Crown is having hostility, but is it BECAUSE
there won't be a massacre? I mean...I'm delighted to hear things
should be safe, but first there's no guards to a POWER
PLANT.....and.....the Crown is hostile BECAUSE this isn't going
that badly? BECAUSE of no massacre? Ugh...I think that earlier
debacle's still got my brain jumbled or something." He pouted,
tired of his own confusion.
"Basically, the Crown is the problem, I get that. But what I'd
like to know are the particular REASONS for why, is what I THINK
I'm trying to say."
