Sonic awoke yawning while stretchering. "Ugh aww man. I had this
weird dream. I was a dragon and there were magical talking
ponies. And there was this green one that really p,issed me
off." He slips off the couch and places a hand on Flavie's
shoulder peaking at the screen. He didn't understand what she
was doing but judging from their conversation he gathered. "Wait
are you trying to hack Mother's servers?" He slammed the laptop
shut narrowly avoiding Flavie's fingers.

She squeaked as she moved her hands and fingers to her chest,
and pouted, "Sonic!! Don't do that! I paid a LOT of money for
that Laptop!!"
She sighed, "Yes. Just so I can see if I can do it. My friends
all tried and got their computers wiped! I just wanna learn more
about that Moth..." She blinked, and looked at sonic.
"er...? Wait. Sonic. SHE'S YOUR MOTHER!?"
She seemed confused, "But didn't she slap you a week ago because
you kept shaking that cute little robot thing?"

"First of all that little robot thing isn't cute. Do you have
any idea how hard it was to compete with perfect little Simon
for Mum's attention growing up. Of she's my mother, I've told
you about her countless times when we chat at the diner. And so
what she slapped me lots of parents smack their kids." He told
Flavie looking at her like she was nuts. Sonic picked up the
laptop after it was closed and held it behind is back. "You guys
don't get it. She just wants whats best for everybody."

"Mother?" Sapphire frowned at Sonic, putting her hands on her
hips, watching him as he hid Flavie's laptop behind his back.
"Sonic, mouse lady.. Or your 'mother' said, that Heroes are no
longer needed and only cause more violence... [i] you're [/i] a
hero Sonic, you're Mobius' greatest hero, and you're agreeing
with the mouse?" She asked, as she walked up to him, "why the
sudden change, Blue? Lost interest in your hero duties?" She
added, holding out her hand, "can Flavie have her laptop back
please? She wasn't going to do anything bad to your 'mother's
servers, she just wanted to see if she could get in, right?" She
asked, glancing over to Flavie.

"Yes....of course I'm still interested......But she wants us
gone....It's for the best? I don't know ARGH!" All of this was
hurting Sonic's head the chip at the base of his neck started to
send mixed signals to his brain. He dropped the laptop and fell
to his knees clutching his head. "It hurts.......MAKE IT STOP!"
He screamed. Shappire had managed to make true parts of Sonic's
memories surface as it was fighting back for control.

With her ninja reflexes Karahl was able to catch the laptop
before it hit the ground after quickly handing it over back to
Flavie she dropped to her knees in front of Sonic as she face
him. She placed her hands over his as the hedgehog clutched his
head.
Karahl had no idea what was going on but now was not the time to
ask questions, "Sonic," she with a firm yet somehow comforting
tone, "Listen to me. We are going to try and calm your mind so
you can deal with this better and hopefully overcome it,
alright?" She looked to him with great concern but remained
composed during his time of need.

Sonic's eyes started flashing from green to gold. He gritted his
teeth and held one eye wide open as this took effect. He looked
up to Karahl trying to focus on her. "I don't know whats
happening. My brain it hurts my memories are all shattered. Each
though false or true like a hall of mirrors they all display
different versions of me. But which one is real?" He asks his
eyes looking panicked as the gold glows brighter.

Karahl took note of his flashing-coluored eyes, finding it
excessively odd but didn't pry about it. That wasn't important
right now, Sonic was in pain. She squeezed his hands within hers
comfortingly, "Sonic, you mustn't try to fight these all at once
and on your own." she gently pushed him to sit onto the floor
and she mirrored him. Still holding his hands she closed her
eyes and took a deep breath, "We will meditate on this and
figure this out together. Close your eyes Sonic and clear your
mind. Do not let such memories dictate your mind for you are in
control." she said gently and slowly, "Let both of these
conflicting memories flow, like a river. Adjust to the twists
and turns, take the time assess these memories to separate the
truth from fact. Not all at once."

Sonic closed his eyes and focused on her voice. Blocking
everything else out he tried to follow her instruction. In time
all the shards of shattered memories turned a mercy liquid. They
melted away to a river flowing away revealing not yet his past
but giving the pain a place to stay at bay. He let out a sigh of
relief as it seemed to be working.

Karahl remained completely still and silent as she continued to
hold onto his hands for comfort; knowing full well the
importance to give him the space and silence whilst he assessed
everything that was going through his mind. Around ten minutes
later she gently repeated, " Take the time assess these memories
to separate the truth from fact. Not all at once. i am here for
you, as are your friends Flavie and Sapphire whenever you need
us."
