Act One [Flavie's Apt]

Flavie was all Smiles, Finally!
She would be able to use what she has been studying for for a
good two years!
She liked to think herself as good, and that if her friends
couldn't figure this out... maybe she could learn from their
mistakes and try her hand!
But the bubbly Roo figured she would explain what she does
outside of her Waitress Job.
"As mobotropolis was still basically all about nature, the
Technology department is small... like super duper small, like
there are at least a good twenty-five of us in the whole
department! It's basically a study of computers, robotics,
programs to help maintain the current technology that runs the
kingdom..."
After she thought she was rambling she shook her head, and
coughed, "Basically the department is funded by the crown
partially and by Professor Crimsley. And by Him funding it's by
him being a consultant for the museum and his tenure!"
She nodded, "Professor Bell used to be the head of the
department, But her Husband, and my Professor of my alternate
energies class is the current Head."
She eventually stopped at a fairly tall building, as she looked
over to everyone, "This isn't hard to follow right?"

"Alternate energies?" Karahl inquired rather suddenly, as she
had been tailing them silently the entire time.

"Ah... yes! Chaotic Energy, Electrical Energy, Solar Energy~"
She nodded as punched in a code to unlock the door, "I take the
class because it seems like a neat and innovative idea without
harming the natural structure of the City!"

'So those energies were used to help improve and maintain the
technology running the kingdom...' Karahl pondered to herself
before asking again, "Curious, were there any major projects or
significant research that you or any of your professors were
working on during the time of your study?"

She tapped the bottom of her lip, then snapped her finger,
"Weeeeell! Prof. Crimsley knows a LOT about Chaotic Energy! Like
he was trying to find a way to harness it safely without the
weird after affects? He made a device that nullifies that energy
as well..."

"I see," Karahl replied with a single nod before sighing, "As
interesting as the potential of Chaotic Energy sounds, I'm
afraid going into detail isn't exactly the type of information I
am able to retain to memory. Other than the strange after
effects - what could happen to an individual when exposed to
such a source?"

Ryder heard the whole thing but was being completely silent
surprisingly. He was going through a cycle of ideas popping up
and Ryder refusing those ideas.
Ugh, this is confusing for me. However, what if the husband of
Theodora was in this...probably not. Hmm, what about Theodora's
death, there has to be some harm in there; and I think Karhal
might have the same idea.
He decided to wait for the perfect time for questioning.

Sonic stumbled home opening the door to his apartment which
happened to be next to Flavie's. He looked up spying the two
girls from the balcony above. "YO" He called out in order to
catch there attention.

Flavie blinked, and looked up, smiling brightly to Sonic as she
waved back.
"I know... it's a LOT to take in, I have NOTES upon NOTES
written for the class! Well... I mean...I could think of one
individual that has been effected by it..." She muttered, still
waving to Sonic.

"Not surprised, seeing as you are - or were - a student after
all. Forgive me for being do inquisitive, but do you remember
the name of the individual affected by it? Or if not, what
happened to them?"
"Hello Sonic." Karahl called out with a wave.
