"It is a relief to see, and more of my allies and friends, safe
and not met with an untimely end." Karahl nodded with a smile to
the young hedgehog. She glanced around as everyone seemed to
settle down and wait, perhaps for a new lead? Some initiative
for an investigation. Regardless of the reason she decided to
remain quiet about the issue and observe her surroundings and
see what people would do next. Waiting for the right moment to
strike, was her a part of her specialty after all.

Sonic pushed his way into the diner cold and quiet. Hands in
pockets avoiding everybody's gaze. "Mother is right they are all
wrong and too violent." He told himself remembering how they had
jumped him the other day. He tapped his finger on the table and
huffed out annoyed. "I'm waiting."

"Heh" Sapphire made an attempt to bow back at the Prince, since
it may be considered rude not to, but since she never really
bowed to people, it came out looking rather awkward.
Her ears stood up at the sound of Sonic's voice, "sonic?"
She turned, and there he was, she grinned and ran at him,
"Sonic!" She opened her arms as she flung herself at him, trying
to hug him.

Sonic gave a sigh and stepped to the side allowing his future
daughter to faceplant into the ground. He stepped over her and
approached the counter. "Can I get some service here?" He asked
rather annoyed at all the people he had to be around.

Karahl could feel her heart race when Sonic entered the diner,
even though she shouldn't be, she was a little surprised by his
sudden appearance. Then when she noticed him avoid looking at
any of them she could feel the sinking feeling in her stomach
again - momentarily making her forget about her hunger. He
wanted her to leave him alone.
[sub]"Hello Sonic."[/sub] she said quietly to be polite, though
maintained her composure.
Her brows then rose with further surprise at his actions, opting
to motion closer and help Sapphire up.

He didn't answer he just leaned on the counter wanting nothing
to do with these people after their betrayal of his trust. "Come
on sometime today Two Chili cheese dogs." He demanded wanting to
get his food and be away from these losers.

single and slow nod. After helping Sapphire to her feet she
walked to the farthest side of the room and sat at a table,
fulfilling his request of her keeping her distance from him.

She shook her head in surprise, after face planting, and then
quickly, flipped herself over, watching him walk over to the
counter. ' still upset about the diner incident.. Can't blame
him..'
"Thanks" she said softly to Kara, when she helped her up.
She let out a sigh, before walking over to Sonic, "look, I'm
really sorry about what I said the other day..."

Sonic yawned pretending not to hear her. He looked around
tapping his foot while watching the news reports on the TV.
"Mum's right. She's going to fix this whole mess." He said
thinking out loud.

'Mum?' Karahl thought, looking up from the table and staring at
Sonic skeptically, 'He told me that he raised Tails on his own.'
