Re: Act One [Digsby’s Diner]

"One doesn't convince someone by giving them a smile...."
From here Ryder realized that the dark hedgehog had a great
point, but he wasn't done yet.
"Actually, that is true, but I know that someone would convince
that person by doing good actions. Take the recent event of the
Tigress named Karhal being in the hospital for example. She was
being treated when two werewolves and a lynx visited to
accompany her. Even more came, but I am not sure if they were
here to accompany the tigress. I was there too, giving her a
blue flower for good luck to be honest." He said, "Let me tell
you another thing, one hedgehog alone would certainly be afraid
of the bad. When every good one comes together with that
hedgehog though. They become a force, where they can't be
scared."
I wonder what point he has... He thought after saying all of
that.

Flavie smiled to Ryder, then looked over to Shadow, after she
pocketed her phone, "I agree, there has to be much more Good
then bad! It's just that we are so used to having the bad pushed
into our faces like a banana cream pie!"
She goes over and refills Shadow's drink as she added, "I
mean... I guess she kinda has a point... lately all we have seen
are reports of corrupt police officers... " She glanced over to
her father, whom dealt with an example briefly.
"And sometimes those under the crown can seem a little scary...
but that isn't everything!"

"Funny thing both of you have belief's. Both of you can't be
right, but both of you can be wrong you know? There is good out
there, and at the same time, there could be corruption in those
smiling friends you believe in. Just because you know how
powerful a force of good is, would you know how powerful bad can
be?"
"Thank you" Shadow smiled as Flavie filled his cup, "It's not
the best experience. But the fact is, both of you, you and the
mouse on tv are partially right. As the Kangaroo explained."
Shadow took a sip of his coffee and leaned back, "It's none of
my business. Nothing is ever right with the world, and I don't
think it will be."
Sasha pouted and jumped onto the table giving Shadow an angry
glare as she tried to shout say they should be stopping this
from happening.

From this point, Ryder realized what the dark hedgehog was
talking about.
"Ha, good and bad both have their pros and cons, war and peace,
anything can happen. Those two forces put against each other
would be a never-ending war. Like those idiot robots and I. We
all have our views to be honest, and I understand yours.
However, now I have a question for you. Do you want this world
to continue as it is, or would you prefer for this world to be
changed into something different?"

Shadow rolls his eyes, "That's a stupid question. The world is
always changing, anyone who wants it to stay as it is is caught
up in the past. It's already changing as we speak, and that
mouse is making sure of it. The right question is this, what
kind of world do you want it to change into? Even if it's for
only a fleeting moment?"

Ryder wasn't angry but rather...focused, but he was paused by
the good question.
"I'm rather not focused on the changing of the world, but if I
ever do want to change the world. It would certainly not be a
full-time peace world! I agree, peace would certainly be nice;
but many elements would be missing. Like satisfaction, goals,
many jobs, and almost everyone would be worse then who they are
right now. I hate saying this, but a world can't be a world
without problems. So, how about you? What would you want to
change this world into?" Ryder said, worried about his response.

"A world that can solve it's own problems, and leaves me out of
it" Shadow drank the rest of his coffee and set the empty cup
down. Though he knew what he was asking for was impossible,
cause Sasha keeps dragging him into everything

"Heh, you're a wise one aren't you? All I have to say is good
luck."
Ryder shifted his focus over to Flaive, feeling a little
concerned.
"So, are you feeling all right after what happened with that
impostor?" He asked Flaive.

"Gotta say, that IS a colorful way of thinking!" Flavie chimed
to shadow, "Did you want any more coffee?"
She looked at Ryder and smiled weakly, "A...ah yes... But I
haven't seen Sonic in Days... well the REAL Sonic. I really want
to apologize to him... Papa does too... But I couldn't blame him
if he didn't want to come back..." She began to nervously fidget
again as her ears lowered, "I mean... I really really messed
up... I can see why he wouldn't want to accept my apology... "

"I'm doubting you even need to apologize to him. You haven't
done much to him and you saw how he likes the diner. Considering
he advertised it right in front of the both of us when we were
walking. However if you did, I'm more then a hundred percent
sure he'll accept it." Ryder replied to Flaive while smiling.
