Digsby's Diner: Just a Chili Dog a Day

Mr. Digsby as usual was... well not so friendly looking; Much
more sour-looking than usual;
His daughter seemed to be walking on Air after her date with
Sonic.
...Even worse he couldn't kick him out now.
"Poppy! Udiya! Order up!" He called, hitting the bell as he
watched his Daughter, and a Female Hedgehog walk towards the
counter, both taking platters of plates to other patrons.
Flavie was as usual all smiles, though a bit more aloof as she
kept her thought on the date.
"Oi! Flavs Pay attention!" The hedgehog remarked, as she almost
bumped into her, quickly stopping her and making sure she didn't
spill the coffee kettle.
"E...oh! Sorry Udi... it's just..."
"Yeah yeah your dreamboat honey pot boyfriend took you out on a
date yadda yadda..." She rolled her eyes, "Listen I love you and
all and good on you for getting what you wanted but your pops is
gonna blow a gasket if you keep messing up!"
Flavie blinked and smiled weakly, "You're right... It's just..."
The white hedgehog rolled her eyes, "It was just a date, you two
didn't even plan for another one..."
There was another two bell rings, as Mr. Digsby had another
order.
Business has slowed dramatically... and He had to be in the back
to cook...
It seemed Nicolai lost his best friend suddenly the other day...
He needed time to grieve...
...Udiya made mention that her Uncle and a few of her cousins
had suddenly died as well.
The television in the Counter had the news on for once, speaking
about the sudden death of certain species.
Magnolia, his wife was in a grieving phase as well.
As he was being the line cook until Nicolai returned... he
surprisingly asked Flavie's foreign lynx friend to help him at
the counter.
He seemed reasonable... compared to the men that seemed to want
to be about his daughter.
"...Any tips for you... are yours by the way." He mentioned to
Krieg from the kitchen window.

Krieg wasn't doing anything today, really wasn't doing much
while he was in Mobotropolis to begin with, and was happy to
help working the counter for Mr. Digsby.
"If its all the same to you, sir, I'd rather let you have the
tips. I'm not really strapped for funds as of late." Krieg said
in his usual soldier-like tone.
"I don't need the money, I'm just willing to do anything to
help."

The old 'Roo raised an eyebrow but accepted it all the same,
"Fair enough. But I have to repay you someway."
Flavie poured coffee for a few patrons, then quickly returned to
the counter to switch off the coffee platter for the new food
plater.
She waved to Krieg and smiled, "Saturday is still good right?"

Krieg looked over to Flavie and smiled.
"Saturday is still fine, yes." Krieg looked over to Mr. Digsby.
"It's fine. I do not need to be repayed."

"Great!! " She exclaimed. "We can hang out at my apartment, I
mean since your visiting and all~ I'd love a second opinion on
my setup!"
Mr. Digsby nodded slowly, as he went to prepare another kettle
for coffee and more chili for the dogs.

"This is the place!" Sapphire said happily to Soul, as she
walked inside, dragging him along behind her.
"You have gotta try one of their Chilidogs! they're the best"
She added, smiling as they walked over to the counter.
She looked up at the lynx who was working at the counter and
frowned, ' he looks similar to...Nah, can't be'
"Could we get two Chilidogs please?"

Krieg took a sticky note and wrote down the order. "Anything
else, ma'am?" He asked.

"Uh- do you know of another lynx who's.. Have you seen?-" she
paused, looking nervously up at the Lynx.
"Do you know a guy called Shoke?"

Krieg looked at her for a moment. Then sighed.
"I'd assume you're referring to my brother, Ezekiel. Yes, I know
of him." He said, with a slight bit of annoyance in his voice.

Scourge zooms in and waits until Flavie is not looking then
slaps Sapphire over the back of the head as hard as he can. He
then looks away and begins whistling.
