A little idea I had...

[color=yellow]So, I had this little idea for another RP section.
You know, alongside the main Canon and What if. You see, since
Sonic Boom is a thing and is more-or-less a reboot/spin off of
the Sonic Mythos, why not do the same with a Boom Canon?
Since all we have for the moment is speculation about the plot
of the Boom series on TV and the game, I thought I'd give my own
take on what I think the setting and plot will be, so if my idea
for an alternate Boom RP gets accepted, we at least have
something to work off of. Also mixed in with some lore from our
own forum~
*Ahem* On the mysterious planet of Mobius, there once was a
massive civilization that died out because of some mysterious
disaster that had left the planet in ruins. This may have
happened millenia ago, for all we know, but from the ashes rose
a new sentient race, the Mobians. Evolved from animals that had
lived on the world prior to the destruction of the past race,
these creatures are bi-pedal and live their lives trying to
survive in the massive desert wastes. A century ago, however,
the mobians main focus switched from survival to civilization,
and along with the birth of the use of electricity came the
desire to study the many, many ruins scattered throughout the
planet, and using artifacts to further the progress of
mobianity. However, the first great leap of progress was when
the Redbella clan managed to return one of these ancient cities
to life. This city became the capital of the planet, the
greatest and most populated city in all of mobius, Mobotropolis.
Within the city walls lies many great minds willing to study
more of the ancient race in order to discern what these odd
creatures were. However, nowadays, no one wishes to enter into
the ruins, for many of them are filled with traps and broken
machinery, both of which claim many mobian lives in order to
collect artifacts to study. That is were Scavenger teams come
in, Scavenger teams are groups of adventurous young mobians who
wish to explore and map these ancient ruins, collect any
artifacts within, and sell them back or study them on their own.
Many ST's become well known for their acts of courage, and many
become not unlike celebrities. However, some ancient artifacts
are better left untouched, as one day, a brown hedgehog named
Maurice ventured within a ruin alone, and discovered, deep
within the chambers, a capsule. Within this capsule was the last
of this ancient race, and his name...
Was Ivo Robotnik.
After accidentally freeing him, Maurice was horrified of him and
hid, but Robotnik soon found him. Curious as to what had
happened to his people, and feeling a sense of gratitude towards
the young hedgehog, Robotnik shows Maurice his reaserch... a way
to make a living creature able to travel at supersonic speeds.
After agreeing to help in continuing the experiments, Maurice
and Robotnik form a friendship which eventually leads to the
final experiment, where Maurice is turned blue and is given the
ability to run at the speed of sound with barely any effort at
all. Taken aback by his experiments success, Robotnik started
calling the now blue Maurice "Sonic", as a nickname. Said
nickname stuck, and the blue blur was born. However, not long
after the experiment was a success, Sonic learned that his
friend was building robots in order to take over the world as he
knew it, as Robotnik was actually a criminal sealed away
millenia ago. After confronting him about it, Sonic left, but
not after stealing a pair of prototype frictionless sneakers,
which Sonic wrapped in athletic tape to allow him to stop
easier. After foiling his plan and leaving, Sonic went out to
join a scavenger team and do what he always wanted, however,
Robotnik, wanting revenge for what Sonic did, began trying to
specifically target the super fast hedgehog as a major threat
before he did attempt to conquer the world again. And that is
where the story ends for now, as the rest...

Some minor notes, instead of having powers, character that have
whateverkinesis or magic have devices that utilize artifacts to
do said attacks. For instance...
Shoke's armband doubles as a wrist communicator and a holder for
a blue gem which allows him to throw spears of condensed light,
and on his back, he has a bag which is modified with an ancient
artifact to have near infinite space. Said gem also allows him
to generate temporary platforms beneath him that he can jump
between, as well as allowing him to instantly teleport short
distances. And by that, I mean he can only teleport to places he
can see with his eyes. Other than that he has a sword, which he
named Durendal, which he keeps in the "Bag o' Holding" as he
calls it, which, because of its strange metal, never dulls.
That is the general idea, and I really hope this gets accepted.
It's mostly just what I think the Boom series is going to be
about combined with some lore from our forum. If it doesn't get
accepted, than sh*t. Thats like, an hour and a half of time
writing what I think is a half-decent setting for an alternate
RP down the drain. Oh well.
But yeah, I hope you like the idea, and I hope you liked reading
all this crap!
