Evac Site: Explanations

Hackel looked out the side of the VTOL helicopter he was in as
the pilot landed them at the designated evac site they he had
told Ajax to send Sonic to. He cracked is neck, hoping to spend
as little time as needed here. "Hopefully Ajax managed to find
Sonic. I would of hated to call him in for that favor just to
send him running about." He looked to the two soldiers with him
and made a hand gesture before they jumped down and made sure
the site was secure. Hackel joined them, carrying a heavy
railgun. "I also should hope Sonic will understand my
explanation for getting him involved."

Nearby the evac site, Shoke reappears, still holding his sword.
"I guess that's the evac site is that he mentioned. I better get
down there to see if there is anything I can do to help..."
Shoke thought to himself as he put his sword away. "Maybe I
could even get an explanation to what the heck is going on
here."

Hackel squinted, looking in the distance to try and see if Ajax
was nearby. The two soldiers and helicopter pilot had taken out
and deployed a few miniguns. When one of them asked what
ammunition they were to use, he turned and relaxed. "Just load
up the standard rounds, we're not expecting a lot of attention
out here." He noticed Shoke standing in the distance and aimed
his railgun at him. He looked through the scope, then lowered
his guard slightly. "State your business!"

"Hey hey, don't get you shorts in a knot, I overheard someone
talk about this place and how you needed help with evacuation,
so I thought that I'd come and lend a hand." Shoke stated
clearly. "I'd assume your the officer in charge around here?"

Hackel lowered his aim, disappointed with the fact that they
couldn't keep the operation secret. Still, he was not one to
turn down someone's assistance. "Hackel Warfield, Harbinger of
the Dominion. I'll have to assume you are talking about Ajax. In
that case, he must of found Sonic." He adjusted the bolts on his
breathing mask and revealed his slightly gnarled face. "If
you're serious about helping, then just hang around for a bit.
We're just here to extract the targets and get them home."

"You got it. Name's Shoke. Shoke Glaytor, and while I may not be
as fast as that blue guy you call Sonic..." Shoke vanishes and
appears right behind Hackel. "...I've still got some tricks up
my sleeve."

Behind a nearby tree, a young fox quietly listened to the
conversation. "Harbinger of the Dominion? Dominion... Who are
they?" Miyuki sighed, and tried to continue to listen.

Crest sat in a tree,hidden from view. She wasn't necassarily
interested with helping them. She was just relaxing.
But,really,she wasn't very good at it. The wolf kept tapping her
foot restlessly. There weren't any missions for her to do so she
was practically dying of boredom.

"Impressive, Shoke. But you're not the only one with a few
tricks." Hackel revealed a set of screens on his mechanical arm.
They were scanners, revealing heat signatures and military
diagnostics. "Augmentations have their benefits..."

"I'm certainly impressed." Shoke said slowly nodding. "By the
way, you notice the other two people hiding in the forest? I
noticed them when I got here, but they seem to have stayed
hidden from view."
