First off let me say Welcome to Sonic Spotlight! The Worlds most
Way Past Kool Rp.
What is Sonic Spotlight?
Sonic Spotlight is a text based forum Role Play set in a Sonic
style universe based off the Sonic Archie comics & Sonic SATAM
series.In Sonic Spotlight you assume the role of a character and
control their actions by describing them through text. You write
alongside other players who post their own characters actions
and you interact with one another through writing and responding
to different characters.
Welcome Let's get started
It's always nice to see new Roleplayers.I know rules can sound
intimidating but the rules they are just in place so everybody
has fun.To start off this is a forum RP basically means what you
post always stays on the site. This way you can go back and read
any old roleplay's you like.Getting started first off I'll tell
you about the locations we have to roleplay in.
Mobotropolis
Mobotropolis is the central hub for Roleplay and the one most
rp's take place in.Mobotropolis is the capital city of the
planet Mobius. So most characters/players make their home in the
city.
Everywhere Else
Got a location to RP in that is outside Mobotropolis? Everywhere
Else is where you post it. This is just a way to break the city
rp from outside adventures. Everywhere Else is basically counts
as anywhere else on the planet that is not the city.
(Note Mobotropolis & Everywhere Else act as the main story.)
WHAT IF!?
So this is for when you're waiting around for other rpers to
post in the main story. This is to keep you entertained while
waiting. So all rp's set here are non canon and DO NOT! affect
the main storyline. This is a side non canon rp to kill time. So
your character doesn't get stuck in one thread. In WHAT IF you
can be as many threads as you like.Go nuts.Basically this is
here as a fun way to kill time. And silly things happen here
that don't affect the story. Like Robotnik and Sonic might
friends anything goes here.
Now the locations are out of the way I'll teach you about
joining & creating threads.
Got an idea for a thread you want to start? Great here's how.
Click on new topic to start a new post with your character after
choosing a location to rp in and wait for other characters to
join/reply you.If you are reading a thread you'd like to be a
part of and want to have your Character interact in it click on
reply to start rp right away.If you are still having trouble
take a look at the quick start guide in the blue bubble at the
very top of the site.
Shoutbox
Finally at the very bottom of the page is the Shoutbox. You can
have your say and instantly interact with other members asking
about anything from rp to real life topics. It's a way to ask
other members things and get a quick response. Just remember
stay friendly.
