Desert Prince on a Mission! Find those Emeralds?

It had been a while... but after some days of marathon flying,
stopping and trying to figure out that you shouldn't argue with
perhaps overpaying a poor waitress at some diner because you
still didn't understand that your 600 year old money wasn't
really made of much worth...
The young Dragon Prince finally landed and made his way to
Mobotropolis.
He was told by the occasional person that if he wanted
information on rare jewels... much less chaos emeralds... this
would be THE place to be.
...Now to find someone who might know he meant.
He moved his dingy cloak, to the slinged pouch that housed a
touristy-looking map;
"..Emeralds..." he muttered, as he looked at awe around the
large metropolis...
"..Where would I even start?"

Crest was by herself. Crowds of animals walked along with her
but she didn't care. She was trying to find something.Or
someone. They hadn't been technically clear on who-or what-she
was looking for. All she knew was that it would 'stick out'. So
much for a good description of the object.

The tigress had been running for some time now, so focused at
the task at paw she completely lost sight of her other new
companions; Crime and Tails. She blinked, looking around her
with surprise, "Hmm... alright then." she hummed to herself, she
almost began to run again before she noticed something land from
high above. Whatever, or whoever it was, he landed directly in
her path, so she was thankful that she had noticed the
disappearance of her acquaintances before she ran into him.
Karahl fastened her diamond-titanium Tonfa back onto her belt
approaching the dragon with a curious, raised brow.

Amaryllis just entered the town, seeming a little frail and
exhausted from her adventure. She managed to lose her map back
to her home village. She looked around at all the sights but
then stopped in her tracks as her stomach let out a loud growl.
The feline needed food and fairly quickly.

He continued to look at the map, staring holes into it, as he
began to twist and turn it all over, starting to snarl in
frustration at not understanding common symbols such as
restaurants, goverment buildings, and artsy places that might
house rare anything.
"How do you even READ this thing?!" He hissed, starting to walk,
following the flowing crowd of people. His claws starting to
tear at the corners of the map, and through his hot temper he
wasn't seeing where he was going.

Amaryllis looked around for a place to find food when a dragon
bumped into her. "Hey! Watch where you're going!"

He felt the impact of bumping into someone, then took a few
steps back, snarling as his bright eyes glared from over the
map, "Get out of my way you baseborn Feline!"
Forte crushed the map and snorted, a fine whiff of brimstone in
the air."

"Excuse me?" Her gem on her chest turned deep amber from her
anger. "You look like the one who's lost. Ha! I don't need no
map to find my way around!

"What I am doing with this outline is NONE of your concern!"
Forte hissed out, the hand holding the map hidden once more over
his cloak, "I am looking for something. And you are wasting my
time by flapping your uncouth lips! So get out of my way."
