Soul the hedgehog

Chaos Energy is the life force of Mobius, flowing through all
things, from the animals to the people to the earth itself. A
healthy flow is a healthy soul; cutting the flow of Chaos Energy
to an entity severs its connection to the world, rendering it
“dead”.

Abilities:
-Chaos energy perception: Soul can detect any living organism
within his vision and his surroundings as long as they stay
within a 10km radius.
-Chaos Energy manipulation: Soul is able to tap into the chaos
energy flowing around into power and power and vice versa
enabling him to use burst mode.
-Burst mode: a type of aura “Spirits” use where the user is
capable of using the chaos energy flowing around them into power
it comes in a form of a small flame located at the chest. The
user engulfs also engulfs their hands in flames, usually for
chaos energy it would appear green but for “Spirits” their
energy would appear light blue. These flames are capable of
flight and combat.
-Flame Manipulation: Users of burst mode are able to manipulate
their flames to an extent of burning actual objects, they can
even use this to create streams or vortex of flames.
Special Attacks:
-Soul purge: Soul strikes a palm heel strike at the opponent
releasing a powerful shockwave through them, useful for driving
out evil spirits and demons inside a person's body.
-Soul Blast: Soul most powerful attack composed of compressed
soul energy when in blast capable of damaging the target and
anything in its way. It is usable in both air and ground.
-Soul pierce: much like chaos spear Soul can able to morph his
energy into sharp objects when he snaps his fingers it releases
and pierces anything it hits.
-Spirit smash: Soul locks his hands in tight fists and began to
create a shockwave, then swings them down at the opponent
smashing them into the ground with a powerful force.
- Soul Vortex: The user creates two long torrents of flames
which creats a swirling vortex, trapping/ damaging the opponent.
Personality:
Soul is a fun hedgehog who likes to hang out with friends and
likes to extend his help and contribute in activities or
adventures that might benefit his friends or others. He is quite
a jokester but when it comes to puns, but sometimes it makes him
sound annoying, not every time he is annoying seeing as he does
this jokes for fun. He likes to wander around places such until
he sees someone who needs help or something interesting.
It makes him feel glad that he was able to help however if there
are time he doesn’t get to help or commits a mistake he easily
gets sad and blames himself for this action. He doesn’t like
staying in one place for too long, and he tries his best to help
out his allies, he thinks of himself as more of a follower than
a leader.
Not only does he have a habit of helping others but he also
happened to develop some feelings for his friend (girlfriend)
Sakura. Though he has developed feelings for her he still finds
it a hard time trying to say the “actual words” to her, instead
he shows it through gestures or actions.
Weaknesses:
-He cannot withstand extreme heat
-He is near sighted so he has to wear his glasses
-slightly weak defense
-Soul is capable to propel himself but not too high having
limited flight due to using energy and limited manoeuvrability
as he still can't control his flight well.
-If Soul uses too much chaos energy he himself would feel tired
and exhausted, that’s why he wears a special pair of gloves made
by “X”, to regulate and control the amount of flames.
-He must remain calm and positive as “Spirits” convert their
soul energy into power, depending on the user. Positive soul is
equal to positive energy and Negative soul is equal to negative
energy.
-While Soul may be able to sense the living things around his
surroundings, he is not always using this ability 24/7. His soul
perception ability maybe be useful for tracking enemies,
preparing for incoming ambushes or gathering Intel however the
downside to his ability is that it only works among the living.
Which makes him an easy target for non-living opponents such as
robots, etc.)

-Special grey gloves made by “X” to control and regulate the
amount of flames.
Backstory:
A Long time ago while the Echidna’s were in-charge of guarding
the emeralds, there was a race of beings known as “Spirits”.
These beings were known for their ability to tap and harmonize
the flow of chaos energy, thus creating balance. With great
power comes with great responsibility, however when there is
power there is corruption. The “Spirits” continued to exist and
prosper well in the later years, until a group of corrupt
Echidna’s and “spirits” sought to take the power from themselves
starting with the emeralds then wiping everybody in their way.
War waged out throughout the years for quests over power, in the
end the “spirits” and the echidna’s won and peace reigned.
However after that incident came to the extinction of these
beings as they too we’re wiped out by Chaos himself, their
civilization was long and their name was dead, until now.
During his childhood young little Soul was treated as a special
child who had special talents, but people of misjudge the poor
little guy. He was raised by his foster parents, however at the
age of 5 his parents we're captured, imprisoned and roboticized
the little hedgehog was forced to fend off on his own. It didn’t
take him long to discover his new powers and train with it. He
met a few new friends along the way, as he sworn to use this
powers for good as well as discover his identity. (To be

[li]“Spirits” have a different skin tone compared to normal
mobians, this is due to the effect of harnessing chaos energy
flowing through them, hencewhy Soul has a rather yellow-ish tan
colored muzzle than the rest.[/li]
[li]While “Spirits” are able to tap into the chaos energy
flowing around them, they are not able to unlock super forms as
it requires large amounts of energy and complete control over
it. Nor can they use chaos control [/li]
[li]"Spirits” are sensitive when it comes to the chaos emeralds
and Master emerald. With no control over them these objects,
abusing these could easily kill them[/li]
[li] When "Spirits" who lack training or totally have no control
over their energy are exposed to large amounts of chaos energy
for a long period of time. They would find a great increase in
their power at first but afterwards it would put a great amount
strain in their body. They would experience body pain,
paralysis, heavy breathing, physical weakness etc. If not
treated well soon the chaos energy within them would burn out
their life from the inside leading to death. Those who would
survive this experience as such would be left incapacitated for
days for them to restore back their energy[/li]
