Tears prickling the edges of her vision as her surrogate sister
promptly enclosed her in an embrace she let out a barely audible
strangled cry partially from grief and partially from the
frustration of knowing that no matter how much she thrashed
removing herself from her siblings hold at this particular
moment would prove near impossible. Slender as she was Amys
physical strength was a force to be reckoned with but that
didn’t mean that she didn’t try. For a few strained moments that
followed she squirmed mildly in the cuddle wanting nothing more
than to be released so that she could launch herself at the
snarky red head and yank a fistful of her extensions out.But the
more Amy spoke the more her speech gradually resonated with her
comforted her, and finally calmed her once more. To the point
that by the time Amy began to lead her away albeit still red
eyed she was more composed than she’d been merely moments
before.
Making sure she remained quiet until her and Amy were well out
of the mean girls earshot she timidly spoke up. "Amy I’m sorry.
I wasn’t supposed to loose my temper like that…”

Amy's face softened as she turned to her surrogate sister and
smiled kindly. "I'm surprised that I was able to maintain most
of my temper. Unless those girls swear an elegance to Robotnik
or Eggman then I would be in the wrong to attack them. That's a
lawsuit for assault I don't want to deal with." She smiled then
her expression turned serious. "Sonya, I know what you're going
through, but in times like these, our tempers will be our
downfall. I will help you. Today we skate and leave everything
on the ice. It's just going to be you and the ice. But tomorrow.
I'm going to take you with me to my boxing gym and there you
will beat the ever loving crap out of a bag in perfect fighting
form and feel better. Okay?"
