A good start? Or omens to come... (Amy and Ripper/Skeen)

After some walking, and directions from Sabine, Ripper and Skeen
both arrive hand in hand to mobotroplis. Normally Ripper would
have better confidence, but this wide, advanced, diverse looking
city looked a bit, MUCH... Even for HIM. "Hey, Skeen. I have to
admit... I'm a tad nervous." Skeen simply rubs his hair. "Don't
worry about getting lost... We will pick a store and start from
there..." They find a fancy looking "Red Dress Boutique" store
and look inside.

The Red Dress boutique, a knock off brand of the Black Dress
boutique (because every girl needs a little black dress in their
wardrobe), had their frequent customer shopping there today.
Amy Rose liked the Red Dress, they weren't as pretentious or
stuck up as the Black Dress and because most of what they sold
were knock offs, the prices were a lot better for those working
on a budget.
The pink hedgehog hummed to herself as she browsed the jacket
racks, shooing away the same sales rep that had been pestering
her for the last 20 minutes. The Red Dress may have good sales,
but their service needed a bit of work.
"Oh this one is nice," she said, pulling out a light burgundy
coat with dark purple buttons and a peach colored scarf tied
neatly on the coat's hanger to show they were a set. "I think I
have a hat that would work with you perfectly." The coat
reminded her of those old mystery, female detective books.
Classy.

Skeen had found a dress extending to the lower legs, speckled
with red and blue shades and a touch of white even.

"This
looks nice, don't you agree Rippy~?" She holds it over her body,
while Ripper judges a little bit. "I think it looks dashing on
you. Just the braces clash with colors, but yeah. It looks good
on you." She smiles, but agrees that the gold braces on her legs
make it look not the best. Then she sees Amy, believing her to
work here, she walks to her. "Excuse me, where could I find this
in a green color?"

Amy glanced over at the other customer and glanced at the
garment in her hand. Then replied with a smile. "Probably. The
dresses are usually over there." She said politely, gesturing
over to another part of the store. "Though don't quote me on it.
I don't work here." The pink lady said then turned back to
continue her own shopping.

Skeen looks in the direction she points at, then back and
smiles. "Thank you Ms?" She prods for her name politely, as the
two were new to the surface and mobotropolis, so they wanted to
start making friends...

Amy didn't know that they were new residents in the city, though
she did have to admit to herself that it had been a long time
since she had seen Sea Mobians. "Amy Rose, it's a pleasure to
meet you. What is your name?" She said, offering a hand to the
orange female. It never hurt to be polite to another. After all,
first impressions get only one shot.

She grabs Amy's hand and shakes, "I'm Skeen, and this is my
boyfriend, Ripper." The male shark waves happily as Skeen
introduces him. "This is our first time on the surface in
like... 'ever'!" Our kind has been under the ocean for quite
some time~." Speaking ever so politely, but excitedly.

Amy nodded, "Mh, yes. I have met a few other Sea Mobians years
ago, the oceans were really beautiful." she said with a smile. I
should probably visit it again in the summer time, She thought
to herself as she glanced back at the clothes rack. "So that's
your boyfriend?" She waved back and smiled. "Nice to meet you,
Ripper."

Ripper smiles and waves back. "I believe that you are familiar
however... Some of our albacore [certain species of fish] scouts
come to the surface and watch from the shadows... Amy.. Amy...
Where have I heard that name before....?" He pondered
intently...

Amy turned towards Ripper and tilted her head. "Albacore?" She
asked as the new word was added to her vocabulary. Her attention
was suddenly taken away by a silly frilly black blouse hang on a
nearby rack and her eyes zeroed in on the size. Her size. She
quickly snatched it up and felt the smooth fabric, admiring the
design. "Ooooh, I'm getting you." The color reminded her of
Shadow's fur.
