Twinkle had managed to flee the city some time ago and had set
up a shelter in the local library for refugees from the Kingdom
Of Acorn. She worked tirelessly around the clock to accommodate
the victims of the disaster. When she wasn't running herself
ragged, Twinkle would lock herself in the study for hours
pouring over ancient tomes and searching the Eggnet. It had been
at least two weeks since the incident occurred and Twinkle was
starting to put together a plan, but she needed a team to go out
and put it into action as it wasn't something she could do
alone. The lavender cat posted a broadcast on all the emergency
channels in an audio format that said the following.
"To anybody who can hear me, if you can fight we need your help.
What happened in the capital two weeks ago was....unspeakable.
We all lost so much. Families, friends and even our homes. But I
think I've figured out a way to fix this or at least give us a
fighting chance. There are two others here with plans of their
own that need tending to as well. If you think you've got
something to offer please make haste to Lushvale Village. Be
cautious as you proceed the Princess and Metal Sonic have been
picking off patrols and we can't afford to lose any more people.
Twinkle out!"
With that said Twinkle returned to her studies as did the others
who would lead the rebellion against Robotnik and his powerful
enforcers. She awaited those brave enough to assist or anybody
who could bring her information on important survivours.

The fall of the city weighed heavy on James after they fled. He
was beyond grateful for the help Soul and Sonic had lend him so
that he wasn't dead, but it did leave him with what felt like a
hole in his heart. The amount of people killed in the attack and
subsequent eradication had left him feeling hollow and uncertain
of what to do now. What could even be done in light of this act?
Everything just seemed so hopeless and empty after this crushing
defeat.
However, when he heard the broadcast from Twinkle, it quickly
became apparent to him what he had to do if he ever wished to
feel better again. He had to help fight back, do something to
get back at the doctor. He wanted to avenge those lost and make
amends for the police force's failure to protect them. With his
mind set, he headed off towards Lushvale Village for this
meeting. He wasn't the most secretive of mobians given his size
and armor, however, he was beyond caring at this point. He was
going to get there, no matter what.

Petrov was grateful that Shadow had helped him out of the city
and saved him from a very painful death. It did leave him in a
strange case of limbo however. He wasn't sure what to do now.
The city was dead and so was most of his clients. Without any
kind of income, he would be living on scraps within two weeks at
the absolute best. It had him fuming at the thought. The fat man
had really done it this time. He had, in one swift move, driven
him out of business and left him with no hope of recovery.
He wanted revenge. He wanted revenge on the doctor for putting
him into this spot, no questions asked. He'd love nothing more
than to put a bomb under Eggman's beloved creations and cause it
all to go up in one big glorious fireball. That, however, would
be a death sentence if he tried it, and he didn't fancy being a
martyr just yet.
Upon hearing the broadcast though, he too decided to take
action. He wasn't in favor of dying a martyr that much was true.
However, if he was in a group, he might be persuaded. After all,
it would give more targets for the enemy to focus on... and he
would have a better shot at getting revenge. So he quickly got
up, made sure he had what he'd need in terms of weapons,
bullets, bombs, and then set his course for Lushvale Village. He
also took great care in concealing himself. He was not gonna let
the robots get him before he had a chance to reduce them to
scrap.

After the incident, the hedgehog spent most of his time on
patrol. The fall of the city weighed down heavily on him, to the
point where he didn't eat nor sleep even if one of his superiors
told him to. The hopeless looks on the refuges shooked him,
making him more anxious about not saving the lives they all
lost, even with his power he just felt so defeated. However upon
hearing the broadcast, perhaps there is still hope for fixing
this outcome of course he wasn't doing this alone and needed
help too, but not in his current condition. He took some time to
reflect on what happened and a quick power nap later he was
ready to set off to Lushvale Village as fast as he can, keeping
out a sharp eye for Metal Sonic, Infinite or even Robotnik.

Blaze felt awful for the most part after the fall of the capital
city. Home to millions of mobians as well as the hero Sonic the
hedgehog now ran by the evil tyrant Eggman. He had no words to
describe what happened that day as he left millions to di in one
quick motion. He wanted to stay and help as many as he could.
His brother knew better but he was sure it was eating him up
inside just as much as it did Blaze. What made it worst was that
he never heard from Veira as well. He slowly began to lose hope
that his long time friend and partner was gone just like his
home. For two weeks, he had to run and hide from robots just to
stay alive. It was truly a problem for the hunter.
It was then he heard a broadcast being played over the radio
channels he thought were long since dead. A freedom fighter
resistance to strike back at Eggman? How could he refuse? With
his mind set and ready to go, the young flame hunter set out for
the village to join whoever was going to make Eggman pay.

It had been two weeks since catastrophe struck in the capital
and according to Amy she’d been completely out cold for
one of them. What was happening still like felt an oddly surreal
nightmare Sonya kept hoping that if she gave herself the
occasional pinch or a click of her boots that she’d wake
up from the horror that was now their reality but no such luck.
No matter how much she tried to keep busy her mind just kept
going back to the wreckage of mobius their heart their home and
all the innocent lives that they hadn’t managed to save.
The knowledge that Robotnik was now running the city made her
stomach anxiously churn, but at same time she was filled with an
almost overwhelming frustration. She felt so useless she hated
not being able to do anything at a time so dire. Shortly after
she’d fallen unconscious, from blood loss Amy had
rendezvoused with Shadow and with the assistance of her late
mothers diary notes she’d brought them well wherever this
place was.
Not that she was complaining it was cosy nook of sorts and
though she hadn’t slept much the past fortnight due to the
stress of everything going on she had taken some solace that
they hadn’t had to spend their days looking over their
shoulders. But now that she was rested and more or less back to
full health she was getting restless, that is until her large
fluffy ears pricked up high on her head as her gravely silently
communicator suddenly crackled to life with an unexpected
broadcast.
Hope flaring within her as the moments passed by she stifled a
gasp of relief. There was more than one survivor? And they were
trying to recruit others to not only fix this mess but fire back
at that evil overlord! maybe all wasn't lost. She knew exactly
where her and her comrades would be heading next. She
couldn’t wait to tell them!

Amy sat on the floor of their latest gypsy hideout waiting for
Shadow to return with more supplies and nourishment as she
guarded their little campsite and watched over Sonya's recovery.
She stared into her crystal ball, unable to see any immediate
danger coming their way at the moment and only saw her frazzled
reflection in the quartz's shiny surface. She let out a sigh and
rubbed her eyes. To say that the pink hedgehog was beyond
stressed, paranoid, and on edge, was an understatement. Her mind
would not let her properly rest, or rather she wouldn't let it.
She knew she was overworking her sixth sense, stretching it to
its limit so they could stay safe, she just hoped she would be
able to last this whole thing and make it out in one piece.
Time went by and Shadow would eventually return. During that
time Amy had been in deep thought, and as he approached she
would hug him and give him a kiss, needing to feel his touch.
“Welcome back, Shadow.” Shadow, her only source of comfort she
allowed herself. In his arms, she felt safe, sane, and
strengthened. But even in his company, that event still replayed
in her mind, and with the horrific images came many questions.
"How could this have happened?” She asked. “This doesn't make
any sense. Robotnik died 8, no...9? 9 years ago. Sonic killed
him. How did he come back? Without any of us noticing? How could
he have risen to power so quickly, AGAIN without any of us the
wiser? Why didn't I see this before it was too late?” She rubbed
her forehead, making her frontal quills stick up. “I let myself
get so distracted with all of that nonsense about Sonic...” it
still pained her to mention his name. “I should have seen
something telling me that he was back!” She paused as another
thought crossed her mind. “Sally... she was our leader of the
Knothole Freedom Fighters. So... what happened? He's had time to
not only rebuilt his empire but also establish an economy in
Robotropolis. That was probably what paid for the resources for
his army's reconstruction. How did this all go by unnoticed by
anyone?” She turned and looked down at her crystal ball. So many
questions and no answers.
Her pondering was disturbed by Sonya running up and relaying the
message the vixen heard on the comm-link. Amy listened and her
frown deepened with thought. “Lushvale? I think I know that
place” She pulled out the map of Mobius from her bag. “I did an
excursion there, a while back, to find any lost civilizations in
the surrounding jungles. Yeah, here it is. It's on the coast,
right here, in the tropics.” Amy looked at their current
location and then at their destination. “It's not going to be an
easy journey, but with our speed but if we avoid all the flat,
open terrains as much as we can, we should avoid getting picked
up by patrols. Though... with Sally and Metal Sonic out
there...” she turned to her boyfriend. “Shadow, what do you
think?”

Shadow is standing aloof on a wall watching Amy observing the
conditions of Sonya and it doesn't look good for their medical
asset, he approached the bed-ridden fennec to get a closer look
himself. She has been unconscious for a couple of days ever
since the trio had to lay low in Amy's late mother hideout, the
ultimate lifeform didn't understand what caused her to end up
like this but she is getting noticeably pale. The obsidian
pincushion walked away and approached the entrance, stopping
mid-way to let his lover know where he is going.
"I'm going to Station Square to bring back food and medicine,
I"ll be right back" he said as he pushed open the door and
closed behind him, keeping an eye out for any of Eggman's
troops along the way. The journey wasn't too long, with his
speed he managed to retrieve the items he wanted from local
stores in the other city without alerting the guards traveling
through knothole. he returned to the hideout bringing a bag of
canned fruit, bottles of water, orange juice and medicine for
Sonya's condition.
"I grabbed what's necessary to last for a couple days, savor the
rations" setting the food and beverages down on a table, he was
about to return to his usual brand of brooding when Shadow has
to be emotional support for Amy, the lady pecked his lips and he
allowed her to rest in his arms, listening to her rant about
Eggman's return, or Robotnik as they call him, he learned Sonic
killed him eight years ago and didn't believe it, it was out of
character for him to commit murder, granted he wasn't around
during that time so what does he know? Still it pains him to
hear his girlfriend beating herself up about not being prepared
for his return.
"Doesn't matter how the Doctor returned, he will perish all the
same, we'll make sure of it" Eggman/Robotnik can make a billion
inventions to conquer the world but they are nothing but toaster
ovens ready for the junk pile. Days have past for the group and
during those days Shadow leaves the hideout and brings back food
and water whenever they are running low on supplies, he would
often sacrifice sleep to stay on guard duty, keeping his stern
eyes on the entrance at all times.
Sonya recovered after the first week to their relief. He
didn't contact Commander Tower about his whereabouts, not
wanting to risk Eggman hacking his comms and tracking him to
their location, more than likely Abraham thought he was K.I.A,
he'll have to contact him sooner or later once they are ready to
take back Mobotropolis.
Suddently Sonya came to them about a broadcast regarding more
survivors and Amy pinpointed their location for Lushvale village
as well as constructing a plan to reach the location safety. "We
leave here ASAP, we'll take the most optimal route and we stick
together, do not engage the guards unless we have no choice, we
have to move quickly, lets go" Shadow approach the door, opened
it and took off in the forest, avoiding open spaces as possible.
Shadow arrived to the area and entered the building.

Ty has been staying with his brother to look out for each other
during these dreadful times, avoiding robots to survive is his
only option despite his ability to take them down, but what
choice did he have? Without a home to return to, he had to
struggle to find food and water, the former wasn't too hard
considering there is plenty of fruit in the trees. Water was
much harder to come back however, they had to search for a lake
to drink from it and keep it moving.
Blaze is correct to assume Ty would be guilt-ridden for two
weeks, those civilians died back in mobotropolis and he couldn't
do anything about it. They need a plan to take back their city,
the best course of action would be to find their allies and
rally up. Soon a broadcast had answered his, a mobian cat is
claiming to have a plan against the tyrannical madman and she
wanted people to come to Lushvale Village, she warned them about
the dangers of Metal Sonic and Sally roaming around which means
they have to move quickly. Ty turned off his communicator then
motioned his brother to follow him towards their next mission.
The frosty canine apporached the area and walked through the
entrance, spotting the cat in her studies "I'm told you have a
plan?" pressing a knuckle o waist.
