       Pent up Aggression

       After acquiring his new shoes from commander Abraham Tower, the
       black hedgehog decided to go for a test run in a vast open
       grassy field decorated with a lot of stone pillars and boulders.
       Shadow has never traveled on foot without his signature footwear
       for long, always resorted to relying on technology to get where
       he needed to go in a hurry, well no more! The ultimate life form
       closed his eyes and concentrated chaos energy around his legs,
       then took off running, he gradually increased his running
       velocity to the point of the black blur vanished and engulfed by
       an orange speed trail, blitzing around the stones and his face
       remain hard as a brick.
       It was strange...he didn't expect his legs to endure this kind
       of muscle movement going this fast, its obvious there is blood
       flowing in his lower appendages but they became numb and
       gradually losing their shape as they became a blur, it was like
       on autopilot. He didn't want to admit it but he can understand
       the efficiency behind Sonic's choice of movement, he can feel a
       ton of calories being lost in the wind and somehow his brain
       stimulated the idea of his weight becoming lighter, It is
       wonderful!

       Shadow put on a poker face trying to ignore those taunts from
       that irritating hedgehog, he is gone so why do they still
       matter? They linger in his mind like a cockroach being stubborn
       to die, even in death that annoying pincushion continues to mock
       his ability, tarnishing his name as if he is a joke.  Too bad he
       isn't around to see his growth, he would love to prove him wrong
       and see the look on his face.
       Regardless he will break the sound barrier without his shoes,
       that faker doesn't get to decide his limits, there is NOTHING
       the ultimate-life form cant do! Shadow exerted his legs much
       harder than before, striving to achieve the annihilation of the
       sound barrier, his feet paddler the ground so much it was almost
       indistinguishable as a jackhammer, aching muscles and sweat are
       serving as obstacles to his goal, they wanted him to stop and
       take a breather but he wont allow it!
       Shadow grit his teeth and kept pushing his legs to the best of
       his ability, the faster he ran the harder it is for him to hear
       his surroundings, he is getting closer..Eventually he heard
       nothing, no sound of his feet, no wind flowing in the
       air...nothing. He didn't know what to make of it, did he get
       something clogged in his ear drums somehow? its hard to tell,
       all he knew is he is going too fast to the point of wanting to
       stop running. He kicked his feet backwards and it was over, he
       was still in the vast open grassy field, but the ground is
       tainted by a burning skid mark, he didn't know if he broke the
       sound barrier, judging by the lack of noise he heard while going
       faster, its safe to say he did.
       Shadow looked at all of the rocks and stone pillars in front of
       him, he didn't see anything wrong with them being here, but they
       will get in the way of achieving greater speed, they can prove
       useful to withstand his abilities, the black hedgehog built up a
       surge of glowing crimson chaos energy in his body, "Chaos..."
       the energy engulfed his body with a crimson aura as he bring in
       his arms into an "X' formation.
       "BLAST!" he released the energy from his body, a dome-shaped
       crimson mass of destructive power expanded in a twenty yard
       radius, destroying all of the rocks and boulders within range,
       the black hedgehog couldn't find a reason why he did that, maybe
       it was the only way to let out his frustration.
