Tetra decides to treat himself today and order some chocolate
cheesecake. "Alright. So I was doing my usual thing one day at
the tower. The time came for me to change my shift with someone
else, so I go to change with Erika, an eagle that strongly
disagrees with me even BEING there, as birds should only be on
guard..."
"Then, suddenly... I hear a scream! I turn and see a deer mobian
being pulled underwater while she struggles to stay up! Without
hesitating, I run toward the ocean dive in." He pauses to eat
some more shrimp... "And then, I see a sky blue mobian shark
tugging at the deer mobian's ankle!"

Reck raises his eye brow in anticipation. He could already tell
this story was going to be a good one. He had stopped eating to
give Tetra full attention. "What happened next?" The porcupine
asked excitedly. He was on the edge of his seat. Reck hadn't
heard anyone else stories in a long time. Slowly he took another
bite of his cheesecake. His attention still not shifting.

Tetra's dessert arrives as he is about to continue. He thanks
the waiter and continues. "So I go in for a kick to the sharks
face, making it let go. Then it comes after me in a fury and we
get into tussle, me not really struggling to hold my breath.
After a bit, it kicks away and goes for the deer mobian. I
notice this and in a split decision, spin my tails and dash
ahead to beat him... I knock the deer out of the way just as the
shark opens its mouth... And he chomps down on my EYE!"

Reck finds himself confused. "If he took a bite of your face,
how do you still have an eye?" The porcupine takes another bite
of his cheesecake. The story was a good one, but the smell of
the food had shifted his attention. Reck was a foody. Food could
only sit infront of him for so long before he was back at it.

Tetra smiles. "The docs fixed my eye in the emergency room.
COMPLETELY restored my vision!" Tetra himself takes a bite of
chocolate cheesecake and just grins in glee at the taste. "The
guards at the beach to this day, call me 'Sharkbait' from my
effort! I saved the deers life!" He takes another bite, having
finished his story.

Reck chuckled. "You are a lucky guy. You know that, Tetra?" The
porcupine finishes his cheesecake. A few of the fruits still
setting on the plate. He pokes at them with his fork debating if
he could finish them or not. The porcupine's book squeaks. It is
bored. Reck pats it again. "Calm down..." He whispers to the
book.
Leaving the money to cover the bill and a decent tip Reck stands
up from the table. "Well friend It has been fun. " The porcupine
looks to the wolf. "I think it's time we get out of that
restaurant." He picks up his backpack from the back of his chair
and drapes his spellbook over his arm. "Next time you are in
Mobotropolis, swing by the store. I'm sure I'll have another
story to tell." The porcupine laughs.
He pats the wolf's shoulder. "Any idea what to do next. I'd say
I'd try the swimming thing again, but I might freeze up again."
Reck looks around at the other people in the restautant. The
place wasn't very busy, but it was just before the dinner rush.
Reck was trying to avoid the crowd.

"Hm... Well, I dunno... I might go back home and just relax for
the day. It was nice meeting you Reck!" He holds his hand out to
shake with Reck, eager to get a chance to meet the porcupine
again. "By the way... What's with that book? I never really
asked..."

Reck shakes Tetra's hand. "Probably for the best. My store is
probably missing me." Reck hesitates for a moment before
answering about his book. "She's my life companion. A spellbook
that is linked to my family bloodline." Reck smiles. "Well it
was a pleasure meeting you, Tetra." Reck walks out of the
restaurant. It was a long trip back to Mobotropolis. He could
teleport and make the trip shorter, but sometimes the walk was
worth it.
