Doctor[/font][/center]
It's strange to live in a world without Eggman, not a single
robian in sight nor his contraptions tainting the beauty of
nature. One would think there will be peace on this planet for a
while, people would finally stop being foolish and spend their
lives doing whatever they want without causing trouble, but alas
trouble will always linger around the world forever. Conflict
has always been a curse, it causes pain and misery for people,
motivating a drive to cleanse it until it goes away. However
Conflict is also a blessing, it gave people a job, a purpose to
seek out to aid other's in need, It defines disagreements
towards one another in a chaotic society, sometimes conflict
happens beyond anyone's control.
When one problem goes away another will rise to take its place,
its an endless cycle of a desire to disrupt the lives of others
out of selfishness and a desire to solve the problem by lending
a hand. There is no end to conflict and the Ultimate Lifeforms
knows this, his lifelong promise to Maria and Amy will never
reach a conclusion, no point to aim for a world that's
impossible to reach and only exists in a fool's dream. He will
do the best he can to provide a temporary solution on conflict
and perhaps its better this way.
"Shadow, Agent Shadow are you listening? Pay attention!" Abraham
Tower barked, he is in the middle of a mission briefing and its
clearly upset one of his star agent's is apparently spaced out
during the meeting, how rude!
"Huh? What?..Oh, sorry commander" snapping out of his
trance-like state, it obvious doing a lot of work with little
breaks in between yesterday will take its toll on Shadow or
anyone for that matter, getting out of bed after a five hour
sleep should've gave him energy to function but he is still
tired, doesn't help he didn't have his coffee today.
[b]"I outta cancel your order for new shoes for dosing off like
that, but since you are one of my top agents I"ll let it slide,
don't do it again"[/b] he gave the black hedgehog a stern
warning.
"Yes Sir" yawning a response, adjusting himself on a chair he is
sitting.
"Anyway, I've received word about a group of misfits stole our
new technology we've been working on, we are creating combat
suits for our soldiers to prepare ourselves for another
invasion, I believe someone here leaked our blueprints to the
public, possibly a spy in our agency" he revealed.
"A spy in our agency, any idea of who it is?" Shadow questioned
while expressed concern.
"I'm working on it, until then do not trust anyone in our ranks"
if anyone is skilled enough to infiltrate their agency
undetected that will certainly cause an uproar within G.U.N
affecting everyone's morale. Things will be fine as long as word
doesn't get out there is a traitor in their ranks, he will have
to discuss this with the higher ups. He pulled up more
information on the big screen, showcase people carrying around
big boxes and the scenes would switch to different sections of
the warehouse and to some people loading in cargo. "looks like a
shipment is happening in Dock 32, I want you to go there and put
stop to it before our stuff falls into the wrong hands, gather
up any information you can find" he instructed.
"Understood" the ultimate lifeform nodded then stood out of his
chair and teleported out of the room, the commander walked out
of the area and made his a way to a different section of the
base, the meeting room for him and the higher ups/
Meanwhile, trouble is foot at the old warehouse by the docks,
trouble-making goons are carrying around large crates and
equipped with suit of high tech armor, reinforcing the point
about a new rise of conflict manifesting to compensate for
Eggman's absence. One goon in particular seems to be of
importance, his armor is bulky in size and a sporting a
different color pallet to stand out from the rest.
"Hey boss where do I put this?" a common-looking mobian asked
his leader about a box he is carrying.
"Cant you see I'm working? Put it with the rest of the stuff! I
want all of those crates loaded in those shipment containers
before any do gooders show up and ruin everything!" their leader
responded, he has a clipboard of paperwork to do and the last
thing he wants is to be interrupted.
"You got it" The lackey nodded and did what he is told, the box
is stored along with the other similarly sized boxes in a single
cargo crate, the mobian would go to carry other things for a
while putting them in other cargo containers. If the leader
thought he is going to finish his work without anyone arriving
to stop him, he is delusional, Shadow appeared on top of a
crate, looking down towards the goods giving them a stone cold
look of indifference, he would watch them move around the docks
in a pattern, not that hard to put two and two together in who
is delivering the goods and who is receiving them.

Set After No Rest For A Freedom Fighter.

Having already been briefed back at Castle Acorn in regards to
her latest mission Sally tried to insist that she sit this one
out. After all she’d been back barely a few days and felt
like she was just going the motions at this point. Not that she
confessed this to Sally however loyal a friend the princess had
proved to be to her over the years Sonya knew better than anyone
that when it came down to it Sallys royal duties took priority
over her personal life. It used to bother Sonya a lot more back
in the day but the years had long since matured her. She knew
that this way in thinking from the chipmunk wasn’t
personal it was just what needed to be done. And with such a
mentality in mind this was why Sonya had politely but firmly
argued against sitting on the side-lines. Busier than expected
or not she was a Freedom Fighter it wasn’t her job to sit
around trouble stirred.

Which was how she ended up at the old warehouse by the docks
lowered into a crouching position on top of a crate. donning her
usual dark blue and grey field suit and an expression that was
cool enough to shatter glass. Mutely raising binoculars to her
eye level she spent a few minutes studying the activity of the
lackeys before her attention honed in on the individual that
stood out from the rest like a sore thumb. It wasn’t
difficult to take an educated guess and know that that was going
to be the boss in question she’d be dealing with today.
Her slightly large drooping ears pinning high on her head in
instinctive alert at the feel of an unknown presence near by she
reacted attempting a swift but violent soundless sweep kick to
the individual in questions legs, before it dawned on her who
her company was. Her guard lowering albeit only slightly
annoyance and confusion creased her delicate features as she
whispered to him. “What are you doing here?!”

After a little while of surveying those no good hooligans Shadow
has had enough, they shouldn't have taken G.U.N's property and
now its time to show them all ultimate power! Before he sprung
into action to teach these fools a lesson, someone indeed fell
down before a might of strength, it was neither of the goons nor
was it caused by his own display of skill, "!" Ironically it was
the black hedgehog himself who was tripped over by someone else
he overlooked prior his arrival, it is none other than freedom
fighter Dr. Sonya Heart.
"I should ask you the same thing" replying with a deadpan
expression keeping his voice to a minimum, its obvious he didn't
liked being attacked out of nowhere. Surprisingly and thankfully
none of the guards heard it, they ere just doing their jobs
minding their own business. The pair was enough of a distance
away to have a conversation providing if they don't speak very
loud. "I was sent here to prevent stolen GU.N technology from
shipping overseas, some of these fools are wearing our property
as we speak" the brooding mobain explained his prescene quietly
while waiting for an opportunity to strike.
The guy in purple would go to one of the shipping crates to
examine the contents, making sure enough storage filled enough
space, not before noticing two guards seemed to be having
trouble moving a large box "Hurry up you two! I don't have all
day!" he barked.
"This box is really heavy for us boss," one of the two grunts
complained, their legs are wobbling under its weight.
"I don't want to hear excuses, move faster!" shouting orders.
"Yes Sir" the other one replied, the pair picked up the pace to
move slightly faster, not exactly what the leader wanted but
they were itching closer to the open shipment crate, they set
the placed the box inside and moved elsewhere to load in another
crate.
"This one's full, close it Benny!" the leader determined there
isn't enough space to put in anymore boxes, Benny who is another
generic-looking goon, ran over to close the doors sealing it
shut, like the other two guards he would go someplace else to
lend his aid in loading crates.

Wincing as she watched the black and crimson coloured hedgehog
go down as easily as a domino due to her swipe at his ankles.
She spared an anxious glance to the goons and to her equal
amounts of relief they all appeared to remain undisturbed
despite the fall. Her large fluffy ears twitching occasionally
while Shadow explained his reason for making a not so grand
entrance. When he finished speaking she gave a brief nod her
expression remaining unusually impassive.“Looks like
we’re here under the same intentions then. Amateur as the
majority of this bunch are the one flaunting the oversized
armour has had a warrant out for his capture and arrest under
Kingdom Acorn orders for a while.. technology like this
can’t continue to be in the possession of someone like
him.” A scowl gracing her muzzle as the sound of harsh
shouting pelted against her sensitive ears. Using the silence
that settled over them to formulate a rushed plan by her
standards and then found herself relaying this information very
directly to Shadow. “Alright. Here’s the plan i
purpose it’s not particularly ideal but seeing as
we’re extremely pressed for time it’ll have to
do.”
Straightening up Sonya absent mindedly flexed her blue-grey
coloured gloves in preparation while she spoke."We’re out
numbered but through rudimentary observation it’s obvious
that the underlings are trained for basic combat at best so we
shouldn’t have a problem with them. The lackeys will only
become an issue if we give them the time to overwhelm us."
"They’re not much individually but their strength will
come from their numbers. We’re not going to give them that
opportunity because we'll split and take the divide and concur
strategy and then once they’re out of the equation that
will put the halt on the operation long enough to be buy us
time. Our major issue is going to be dealing with their leader
head on .. it’d be naive to think that he’ll just
confess to all his crimes and come quietly.” Turning her
head a fraction she asked the hedgehog. “Any suggestions
for what to about him?”

Shadow nodded folding his arms "Precisely, if that technology is
distributed to everyone around the world, it will spell doom for
us all" sharing her sentiment, her reason seems to be the same
thing he is after which is good enough for him. The medical
fennec revealed more information about the one in purple armor
and relayed an effective strategy of divide and conquer their
enemies before taking care of the big boss himself.
While the black hedgehog is being fed instructions by his ally,
Shadow is keeping an eye on their objective, once again he is
looking for distinct patterns of the guards. They mostly split
off into groups of two or three, some of them are loading cargo
into the crates, other's are standing around having
conversations discussing serious or humorous topics, some of
them are taking a break sitting around having a beverage. Taking
down the small fry sounds simple enough especially if two heads
are better than one.
He has never seen this side of Amy's companion before, he knew
she has some skill of competence but he didn't expect her to
wield knowledge of a tactician, working with Princess Sally
must've rubbed off on her , he can see it from head to toe. Her
quarry about the purple individual reminded him an important
task his commander instructed him to do "Capture him, I need
information, lets finish this quickly, time is of the essence "
he focus on one of the groups of criminals who are enjoying
their drinks, then used Chaos Control to teleport away from the
starting position.
"Is Sonic really dead? I heard Robotnik finally put a nail on
the coffin" asked one perpetrator.
"Nah that guy can survive anything, every time Robotnik thinks
he is gonna win, Sonic shows up and always comes out on top, I
really hate that rodent" replied.
"I hope Sonic is alive, so I can sue him for assault, he broke
my leg the other day!"
Shadow reappeared behind them, trapping them under his frozen
glare. "Huh!?" was all they could muster before the ultimate
life form quickly dispatched all three with a strong punch and
crescent moon kicks, he warped to the next group and strike them
down similarly.
Unfortunately Shadow used too much brute force, a loud "clank"
coming from the now unconscious hitting the ground is enough to
alert everyone else. "What was that!?" the leader exclaimed The
first group being out of commission isn't going to make things
go smoothly, they are wearing metallic armor after all. The big
man dropped his clipboard and loaded his built-in weapons, a
scowl furrowed behind the mask, why couldn't he do he whatever
he wants to do without any issues?
"Someone is here, spread out and find em!" he barked to
everyone else, before him and the rest of the guards moved
positions and ready themselves for incoming intruders.

“Agent Shadow wai-“ Of course her sharply hissed
warning fell on deaf ears once the hedgehog set himself in
motion. Not that she would admit out loud but the hedgehogs
technique wasn’t as sloppy as she feared. In fact it was
opposite precise and carried out with a poise that was genuinely
admirable.
The downside being that he had completely blown their cover in
the process .. but then again the intention hadn’t really
been for this mission to remain a covert one in the long run.
With two groups now effectively struck down and the attention of
the goons and boss drawn. She knew that it was time to lend a
helping hand of her own. Camouflaging herself into the safety of
the shadows in one fluent leap from the spot she’d been
standing in her gaze quickly adjusted to the gloom of her
surroundings and she focused in on her two sets of targets who
albeit on guard were all to uncertain of themselves.
Taking advantage of their apparent lack of combat experience she
waited until pair one number one began to venture closer towards
her location before she made her move which resulted in a swift
combination precisely fired elbows to the throats, followed up
with controlled but fierce roundhouse kicks across each of their
faces in turn. With the first two taken care of she slunk back
into the gloom before she carried out a similar routine for her
second pair of foes, rendering them ineffective. With the
element of surprise no longer on their side the fact that the
goons had been relatively easy to deal with wasn’t much of
a comfort to the fennec. At this rate if provoked the main boss
would probably try and fire at them at the first chance he got.
Which was why they couldn’t afford to give him an opening.
Continuing to move soundlessly the female closed in on the
leader eyes narrowing. Making an effort to discreetly signal the
black and red hedgehog wherever he currently was location wise
if he saw the signal he would see her giving a silent countdown
three two… on one she moved with agility on par with cat.
She hoped that Shadow would take the initiative of her signal
and put together that the best time for him to strike would be
during the distraction she currently trying to provide. Managing
a running start thanks to another crate that had been keeping
her concealed from sight she leapt and sailed clear over the top
of the wooden case attempting to slam her knee into the villains
metallic chest, her entire body radiating with an all too
familiar electric blue energy, for the time being she knew that
her attacks would have more damaging tendencies behind them.
Though If successful she knew that her blow would amount to
minimal physical damage due to his armour but unknown to him
causing him long term injury wasn’t the goal.. at least
not yet.

After accidentally alerting the guards Shadow mentally cursed
for making this slip-up, being forced to hide in the shady areas
of the docks while their foe is out locking for them is quite
humiliating. He may not prefer to hide away in cowardice, there
is effectiveness to be had with this tactic. He is blending
rather well in the dark, a testimony to his namesake. He
remained still and silent, eyes narrowed watching a pair of
mooks to wonder in his ally's general direction. He can figure
out her presence by her blond hair flowing in the air.
Something else bothered the ultimate life form, one of goons
mentioned the status of his blue arch-rival, that Robotnik has
finally ended him, already there is seeds of doubt planted in
his mind, there is no way Sonic will ever succumb to Robotnik's
reign of evil, he has survived worse, what these morons are
saying is a load of bullshit. Shadow shook those thoughts away
to focus on the mission.
"You think the freedom fighters are here?" one of the pair
spoke.
"Maybe, if they are here, they are nothing without Sonic, once
we find them we'll tear them to pieces!" pointing her weapon
around.
"I guess your right, this should be a piece of cake without
their hero protecting them, Come out, Come out wherever you
are!" the other replied, the group eventually stumbled to
Sonya's location and briefly spotted her. "What the-!" they are
put to sleep under her fighting prowess without uttering another
word, she then took out the other pair of goons, all that's left
is the big boss himself.
Speaking of the latter, the man heard several grunting and
sounds of a scuffle, no doubt those do gooders are here to ruin
his plans! He is disappointed his lackeys didn't put up a single
fight, next time he will hire better security. "I know you're
out there freedom fighters, come out and face me ya cowards!"
putting his arms up to be ready, be careful what you wish for..
Shadow nodded in reaction to Sonya's countdown signal, and wait
for his moment to strike. She ran ahead to provide a
distraction, striking the armor in the chest, it didn't really
leave much of a mark however it got the criminal to stumble
backwards. "Oof! You are gonna regret that!" he bellowed
attempting to swipe at the meddling Fennec with a metallic fist.
Its now Shadow's turn, the black hedgehog shortly coming up from
the left side, An orange trail of Sonya's comrade moving in
super speed, knocking down this juggernaut with a shoulder
charge. "Urgh!" picking himself up from the floor, the fight is
far from over! Growling and pressed a button to activate an
energy defense barrier around the armor, he morphed an arm into
a machine gun, aiming the weapon at the intruders. "Get a load
of this!" shooting laser bullets at the intruders.
Shadow skated around the area in high speeds to avoid getting
shot, he leaped into the air firing a charged chaos spear
against the armo before descending back to the ground, it
doesn't work to his chagrin. "Damn!" gritting fangs, bracing
himself for a battle. Its not the end of world for the pair,
there are soft black padding in between the seemingly invincible
armor for the sake of movement. The knees, elbows, both side's
of the abdomon are exposed, but can they shut down his energy
shield before it gets worse?

As expected when the sole of her boot albeit solidly connected
with the criminals metallic-ally protected chest she barely made
a dent. Her sensitive ears pinning backwards slightly in
response to the oafs bellowing she braced herself for the attack
that she knew was coming. Purposely manoeuvring into a back flip
out of range as he took a swing at her. She was back on her feet
within seconds that all too familiar orange blur cutting in
right on cue. Though only brief Sonya got a moments satisfaction
from getting to see Mr high and mighty get knocked flat on his
backside. However that feeling was soon erased when she picked
up on his aggressive growling combined with the sight of an
energy defence barrier materialising around him and to top it
all off his arm was morphing into a weapon to shoot at them
with.. just great.
Not having the asset of her comrades speed to aid her against
this particular attack she reacted instinctively her body having
already begun sparking with electric blue energy while
she’d inwardly built up her power. Splaying a singular
hand outward the bullets that came her way would come up short
as they shattered uselessly against a ripple of almost
transparent energy that swirled around her. Making a graceful
leap of her own she took the skies in the opposite direction of
the black hedgehog to try get a better surveillance of their
opponent, using squares of force field energy to run along and
stay airborne. "If physical attacks aren’t going to do
much damage, and long distance is a bust then where does that
leave us?!” ‘Think Sonya.. think!’
Sky blue irises suddenly growing wide, upon further inspection
the intelligent fennec soon came to the conclusion that all
wasn’t completely lost for them. As challenging as this
guys armour was proving it was in no way invincible and those
points were on show. “Agent Shadow!” She barked
hoping to trigger his attention. “Don’t aim for the
actual armour! aim for the softer padded parts that have to make
range for the sake of movement like so!” Her last force
field square vanishing in an array of pretty blue sparkles Sonya
found herself making the drop from mid-air. Using a charge of
her force field energy to slow her descent the closer she got to
the ground she shifted herself into a frontwards roll before
coming up on a knee, and breaking into a powerful sprint, with
the intentions of taking a shot at landing an attack on the
villain from behind. Blue energy crackling in her hands as a
long extendable baton shaped stick formed out of her abilities
energy in rapid time she attempted to swing violently for the
backs of the criminals knee caps.

The armored menace continued to try and shoot Shadow, the
ultimate lifeform disappeared and reappeared in various points
of the docking area with teleportation, not one laser bullet
managed to pierce his immortal skin. Shadow stood idle, folding
his arms and looking straight at his opponent in a pillar of
arrogance, making the armored mobian's blood boil "Hold Still
Would ya, What is with hedgehogs being so hard to hit!?"
snarling with irritation, its bad enough one hedgehog is faster
than the speed of sound, now there is two of them! Well at least
one of them is dead, that's one less headache to worry about.
"You're fast Shadow the Hedgehog but I cant say the same thing
about your friend!" he taunted. At this point the big guy is
just wasting ammo, he focused his weapon on Sonya confident he
will be able to fry that pretty little face.....and she
nullified his laser bullets with a defense shield of her own,
god damnit! "Oh Cmon!" why wont they die!? He watched Sonya ran
a fair distance away and becoming airbonre, he changed his
machine gun into a missile launcher wishing to blow her to
ashes, not if a Spin Dash to the chest from Shadow has anything
to say about it! "You little!" he grabbed the ultimate lifeform
while in ball form, slammed dunk him on the ground.
Shadow uncurled and backflip away from him, he need to keep him
distracted before his comrade is in trouble, he tried to keep
him at bay with either a string of Homing Attacks or hand to
hand combat, the guy in the suit formed a big energy sword and
used it to block the red and black buzzsaw, Shadow's
determination pushed the man backwards slightly, he will
continue to resist the black hedgehog, clashing blows with a
metallic fist, a swipe, and a kick of his own. Shadow hopped
backwards frustrated none of his attacks had any impact of the
armor, all because of that blasted defense barrier. The tables
have turned when Sonya struck the man down by attacking behind
his knee joints.
"Gyahh!" falling on his knees, he couldn't comprehend his armor
isn't so invincible after all, maybe he should've had better
protection. "Got it" After being told about his exposed body
parts on the armor, Shadow gave Sonya a smirk then teleported
over to the man who is already struggling to stand, proceeding
to kick him on the side of his left abdomon to send him flying,
he warped again on his right side and kicked him to launch him
back to the spot prior, he warped in front of him attempting to
go for a blow to his exposed left side again, however the
villain isn't going to put up with this abuse any longer.
He grabbed Shadow's leg, slammed him on the ground like a rag
doll for a total of five times then threw his body over to
Sonya, attempting to strike the doctor using Shadow himself as a
projectile "Nice try, but it wont happen again you rats!"
taunting with glee, stealing this armor was the best decision of
his life, with it he is unstoppable.
The black and red hedgehog sat up, holding his head "You think
you've beaten me with cheap armor? Pathetic" scoffed picking
himself off the ground. "Have you forgotten who I am? Stop your
operation before I destroy you"shaking off his mild head trauma
as he folded his arms and giving his enemy a cold glare, making
a threat he intended to keep if he doesn't cooperate.

As much as she disliked Shadow there was no denying the amount
of private satisfaction that Sonya gleaned from watching the
iron crook get batted around as easily as a pin ball in a pin
ball machine. With all the hits the black hedgehog was landing
on this guy the fennec doctor began to think that the tides were
turning in their favour after all. And then she watched almost
flinching as the villain made a successful grab on the black
hedgehogs leg at the last moment, and proceeded to toss him
around as if he were weightless. If the males unexpected
thrashing wasn’t bad enough what happened next was enough
to cause more than kink in her professional armour. The sudden
weight of the hedgehogs body plummeting into her own caused the
oxygen to whoosh from her lungs as they went down, before the
hedgehog sat himself up she made sure to deliver a firm shove,
her brows furrowing in the frustration that she tried so harsh
to suppress. “Get off me!”
Shooting the armoured male a look that could wilt a fresh flower
Sonya picked herself off the ground slowly, dusting off an
imaginary piece of lint from her field mission suit. Her
attention darting briefly back to her hedgehog companion she
fixed him with a brief warning look, before re focusing on the
real issue at hand. “That's it..” An all too
familiar electric blue glow submerging her body in the moments
that followed Sonya didn’t even give a warning when she
took off. Harnessing her force field power to give her an extra
boost of sorts, when she came for the villain it wasn’t
that her speed was his concerning factor it was her agility. As
she darted back and forth across the villain, each time she
attempted to strike a pressure point within the plush exposed
areas of his armours design with the intentions of overwhelming
him, not giving him time to think. Her strategy here not being a
very complicated one her speed paled in comparison to Sonic and
Shadow but that didn't mean she wasn't a formidable opponent.
Again at this stage it was up to Shadow to take the initiative
on how he needed to assist her here.
