       Chroma the Cat

       Backstory: Chroma the cat was an average boy fresh into
       highschool with average problems. He had plenty of jerks to pick
       on him, no luck with girls, mountains of homework, drama with
       friends and family, you name it. Things weren’t all bad however,
       Chroma was an excellent student with high grades and a love for
       all thing’s science. Due to this: Chroma got the opportunity to
       shadow under the city’s famous scientist: Dr. Palette.
       The Illumi Nation Zone was run on the ‘Power of Color’ and Dr.
       Palette was the leading researcher in Colorimetry. Her
       inventions allowed the denizens of this zone to harness this
       Power to make life better for everyone. Her masterwork however:
       was the mighty Prism Breaker Armor. With it one could call upon
       the ‘Power of Color’ directly from the Spectrum itself to
       empower their bodies to supernatural levels. It was a secret
       project that only she and her young assistant Chroma knew about.
       After all, such power wasn’t needed.
       Until the villainous Jet Onyx attacked! Jet, using the power of
       black energy, began to absorb all the Color and Light within the
       Zone with his ‘Black Seed.’ He set about ruling the zone with
       his Ink Blots. Chroma, being as impulsive as any young teenager,
       aimed to stop him by stealing the Prism Breaker Armor. Before
       Palette could stop him, the suit bonded Chroma to the Spectrum
       and turned him into a hero!
       With the suit’s powers he fought back Jet’s army of Ink Blots
       until he challenged the Dark Lord himself. Before the final blow
       was struck Jet tore open a black hole and flung Chroma into
       another Zone. Now the hero seeks to return to his Zone and undo
       Jet’s Evil.
       Archetype: Prismatic
       Feats:
       •Spectrum Shift: Chroma’s primary ability is that he can
       activate different Colors from the Color Spectrum to empower
       himself in different ways. To do this, he must use a ‘Spectrum
       Shift.’ This takes a full turn to activate and he cannot use any
       other abilities in the same turn leaving him vulnerable every
       time he makes a shift.
       •Blue: While using Blue Energy Chroma’s speed and agility are
       bolstered to super levels. He can move at mach speeds, jump
       multiple times in the air, and react to high speed attacks with
       ease.
       •Red: While using Red Energy Chroma’s strength is bolstered to
       super levels. He can crash through solid steel, carry and throw
       heavy objects, and preform a variation of the homing attack with
       his ‘Power Dash’
       •Yellow: While using Yellow Energy Chroma gains the ability to
       make hardlight projections of various size. He can’t really
       create too complex of shapes and can only maintain a projection
       for a short while before it shatters.
       •Ultimate Ability – PRISM BREAKER: When charged with an outside
       source of Color Power (such as a Chaos Emerald) Chroma can
       activate his Prism Breaker. In this state Chroma can freely
       access all his Color energies and combine them to great effect.
       Though this state only lasts for a brief amount of time, he can
       be quite a threat for the duration. (Can only be used once per
       thread and requires an external energy source)
       Weaknesses:
       - Inexperienced: Chroma is pretty new to this whole hero thing,
       he's inexperienced and sloppy when it comes to combat despite
       his super powers making him easy to counter and exploit compared
       to more experienced fighters.
       - Gullible: Chroma is book smarts, not necessarily street
       smarts. He is easy to trick because he is too trusting and naive
       for his own good.
       - Glass Canon: Chroma can dish out the damage but he can't
       really take it. His defenses are pretty pitiful and he'll often
       take a higher amount of damage per attack because of it.
       - "Take away the Suit and what are you?": An impulsive teenager
       without any super powers or defenses
