       “Certainly .. but don’t say I didn’t warn
you.” Her ghost of a smile twisting into something more
openly sinister her mismatched coloured orbs suddenly switched
to darker tones emitting an ominous glow. [b]“Everyone
it’s time to pay tribute to your goddess. Whoever is
quickest at disposing of the intruders will be handsomely
rewarded.. although it’s not like you all really have a
choice in the matter.” [b]A sly chuckle escaping her lips,
while she watched the chaotic results of her handiwork happen
around her she made a temporary retreat to the side-lines more
than intrigued to see how things were going to turn out. The
abrasive but mostly harmless villagers were now closing in on
the two supposed heros their expressions carved with little
beyond rage and hatred. Their eyes glowing the same dark purple
and red tones as her own it was an incredibly effective trance.
The effective part being that these people wouldn’t stop
until these do gooders were no longer breathing.

Fists raised and ready for what was coming for them Sonyas eyes
narrowed at the sight of Jinx purposely taking the backseat
role. The likely conclusion that came to mind was that the cat
was probably more than capable of handling her own but this was
more or less some twisted test to see of they were capable of
handling themselves. She was trying to push them over the edge
but Sonya refused to let that happen. Briskly dodging backwards
as an innocent lunged forward in an attempt to slug her out
right the combat medic wasted no time sweeping a kick at the
clumsy individuals ankles, causing them to topple painfully down
but it wasn’t a retaliation that would do any long term
harm. With barely seconds between the next attack that came her
way she raised her arms in a direct block, ears pinning backward
in frustration. "Rosie whatever you do try not to hurt them!
These people don’t want to hurt us, this is part of
whatever voodoo spell she has them under!”

Rosie was bracing herself for the start of a one-on-one, or
rather two-on-one, showdown with Jinx...only to find out, to her
annoyance, that she was calling the natives to do the fighting
for her. The whole concept of 'settling things like warriors'
involved the two opposing forces clashing out against each
other, without dragging anyone else in the conflict, in a battle
that can be called somewhat honorable at the very least.
Sending a horde of pawns to do her dirty definitely contradicted
to this ideology. The kunoichi wasn't really expecting Jinx to
fight fair but haven't the villagers suffered enough?
"Now that's just low..." Rosie groans in disapproval, having
already sensed the sea of villagers coming in close. Deep down,
she really didn't want to hurt them, even with the bad reception
they received earlier, but they had to stop the onslaught
somehow. This thought was further backed up with her partner's
plea to use as little force as possible on them. Now she really
had be careful of how much power she put into her attacks,
especially with her hard kicks. As she snags an incoming punch
with her right hand, Rosie calls back to Sonya. "No promises,
       but I'll try not to!"
With her grip still around the fist of the villager that
attacked her first, Rosie drags the arm across while stepping
over the other side of the assailant then, as she uses her other
hand to grab the underside of the arm, launches her target
forward with a shoulder throw and sends the native bowling into
a small crowd of other brainwashed enemies to knock them over.
Hopefully, it didn't hurt them too much as much as it'd slow
them down but she would have worry about that later as more
villagers came at her. Snapping to a battle-ready Taekwondo
stance, Rosie boldly stands her ground, ready to take them all
on. As each manipulated enemy rushed towards her, the echidna
move in to evade and deflect their attacks accordingly, using
well-placed palm strikes and even her legs upon occasion. By
keeping a cool head and concentrating on the opposing auras
around her, it was fairly easy to keep up with the different
incoming attacks around and let her sharp reflexes aid her even
further, definitely not allow the pressure of various multiple
attacks pressure her. The tricky part here was inflicting as
minimal damage as she could while still rendering the villagers
       out of the fight.
On the points she shifts to offensive, Rosie began aiming her
blows with just enough force to stun and incapacitate her
opponents rather than actually rack up the damage. That being
said, after avoiding the first two attacks from natives on both
sides of her, the warrior would thrust a quick palm strike into
the stomach of the one to her left then spin into a
counterclockwise sweep kick with the heel of her left foot,
striking the back of her right-hand opponent's legs and tripping
them over. With that same momentum, Rosie would swap away an
incoming spear with a spinning hook kick then keeps her left leg
bent and raise to snap back her attack with a quick, restrained
roundhouse kick to their right cheek, just enough to stun and
knock them down with a sharp hit before promptly pulling back
her leg. Following that, one more native would charge at the
kunoichi and prompt her to leap up and over them, flipping over
to plant her right hand on their head then bring her feet over
to push off of their backside and knock into a few more oncoming
attackers. Rosie was limiting her move pool to lighter melee
moves such as palm strikes, throws, and kicks with no a lot of
excessive force in them. She wasn't exactly the strongest
Mobian around but the amount of training she puts herself
through as martial artist really gave her access to some pretty
heavy blows. Luckily the echidna wasn't a stranger to holding
back her strength, but she was still trying to be very careful.

If Sonya had time to spare she probably would have spent more of
it in awe of her new found friend. This Echidna had some serious
moves! Giving herself a much needed mental reminder that now
wasn‘t the time to have her attention divided she focused
her back on the battle at hand. Her large fluffy ears twitching
at Rosies groaned complaint. “Yeah low is one way to put
it.."Personally Sonya was disgusted being witness to all of
these innocents being used as mere pawns in the felines twisted
long game and what was worse was that she could see that these
people were confused about what was happening, yes they
hadn’t been keen on their arrival but she doubted they
would have actually resorted to violence on these levels and now
here they were completely helpless in the middle of it all.
With the ninja echidna promising to at least try and minimise
the harm she inflicted on those they were fighting that put
       Sonyas mind at ease temporarily.
As it was these people were going through enough psychological
torment they didn’t need to make matters worse for them
all. With half of their opponents being taken care of by her
partner that left the other half to the medic so stepped it up.
As agile as a cat Sonya dealt with the various villagers that
came her way with a flurry of elbows, kicks, and holds that she
purposely carried out to nullify those she came into contact
with. Offensive fighting still being a learning and work in
progress for her the fennec stayed on the defensive for most
part but took to offence when necessary. She was by no means a
powerhouse but for what she lacked in strength she more than
made up for in agility and flexibility and when it came to
situations like these she was always extra grateful for the
combination of being naturally gifted and trained explicitly in
       self-defence.

Soon Sonya would find that her half of the villagers were no
longer in position to keep on the attacks each one of them
passed out and laid down carefully on the ground. Her sky blue
eyes narrowing into slits she made strides towards the lavender
feline her tone controlled but only just. “Your’re
no a goddess your’re nothing but a fraud and a coward,
       this is over.”
       ___
Each jab the fennec made getting deeper and deeper under her
skin Jinx felt her sharp teeth set on edge, but she forced
herself to remain outwardly composed for the sake of not giving
the Freedom Fighter the reaction she was probably expecting.
Instead she found herself letting an almost arrogant smirk play
across her lips she shrugged, and sighed sounding almost as if
she were bored of the whole conversation. “If I i want
something done right i have to do it myself it seems.. I mean I
was looking forward to toying with you both some more but
your’re both beginning to get on my nerves.”

As her right foot swiftly slaps the a villager's right cheek in
the form of a spinning hook kick, Rosie watches as the last of
her brainwashed attacks fall to the ground, unable to battle.
The warrior's leg was raised for a moment, maintaining a rather
elegant crane-like stance for a few seconds, before she sets her
foot back down to the floor with a soft expression of concern
and guilt in her eyes. She really bad about having to fight the
natives, especially since it wasn't even their fault they were
dragged into this. Rosie normally adored being able to exercise
her martial arts skills in a fight, but there wasn't any
enjoyment in beating the stuffing out of innocent people who
were force to fight against their will. Even if she was holding
back her strength the whole time, the warrior was visibly
       concerned.
'Sorry... I'll tend to you guys when this is over,' Rosie
silently vows to the victims while gazing upon their unconscious
bodies. No doubt the echidna was willing to help mend their
wounds and undo the unfortunate damage both she and Sonya had to
dish out later, but now there was a more urgent matter to take
       care of.
A soft sigh is released while her eyes slowly blinked...right
before aiming their wrathful gaze back at the cat responsible
for this mess. Suppressed anger fueled the intimidating scowl
she shot back at Jinx, knowing that she can't allow her emotions
get the better of her but is still visibly upset with what her
enemy force her to do. This never would've happened if the
villain just showed a sliver of honor and stepped up to face the
heroes herself, but noooooooooo. The feline chose to drag the
lives of innocent people into her affairs and put their safety
in jeopardy. Rosie was not about to stand for this any longer.
With her anger shifting into pure determination and conviction
towards ending this monster's reign of terror, the kunoichi
steps forward to stand alongside her partner for the upcoming
boss battle. One way or another, this ends now.
"Enough talk," Rosie simply mutes her enemy with a stern tone.
Aware that there was no reasoning with this self-proclaimed
deity, she ready to just jump straight into the action. "If
you're done making everyone do your dirty work, it's time to
       finish this."

[b]“And finish the pair of you I will.”[b] Her last word coming
out in a raspy hiss of rage the feline didn’t give the fennec or
echidna a chance to process what was happening as she bolted
towards them head on quick as a lioness despite her heels. All
traces of sadistic humour faded from her mismatched irises they
were glossed over with spite and sheer determination for what
was to come. Launching herself into the air at the last second
as she neared close to her opponents she curled herself into a
frontwards flip mid air angling her legs for an especially
violent kick when she landed. Knowing that she needed to buy
herself at much time as possible she aimed her first attack for
the fennec catching her momentarily off guard with her agile
method long enough to successfully slam the sole of her heel
into the fox medics chest which sent her sprawling backwards
across the cave away from her and Rosie. But Jinx knew that such
an attack wouldn’t keep the other female down for long.
Snarling she pressed on with her attacks trying not to give her
second foe any breathing room to coordinate her next moves. With
her kick on the fennec fox being a success she then proceeded to
lunge for Rosie her movements coming together fluently, as she
attempted to strike the echidna girl with clawed hands that if
not avoided correctly would result in her loosing flesh or
       worse.

Sonya knew that Jinx would be fast it was common logic with her
being a feline and all. However she hadn’t expected the
proficiency that followed within her movements. It was almost
graceful to witness and then it wasn’t. Alarm flashing across
her sky blue hues Jinx was upon them much sooner than she’d
anticipated and because her time to come up with an appropriate
strategy had been cut short she’d been the equivalent to a
rabbit in headlights when the cat launched herself into mid air
and the trajectory of her assault appeared to be for Rosie which
meant she’d instinctively shifted her attention more focused on
the echidnas safety than her own in that moment and then that’s
when she felt the air being knocked out of her lungs for a few
minutes the whole room spun and she found herself almost
breaking into a panic as she briefly struggled to breathe.
As she came to a gradual slow, she managed to take short sharp
breaths as the knot in her chest loosened and through her
dizzied vision she managed to call out reassurance to her
partner. "Don’t worry about me I’m alright! Just don’t take your
eyes off her! her strategy is simple but effective she’s not
giving us any room to think of a counter plan because she knows
that the minute we come up with something solid to take her down
       that’ll be it!”

Rosie's eyes widened a bit as her partner was kicked across the
cave, leaving her to deal with the enemy herself for the time
being. The warrior had to keep her mind on the fight, though,
since she was the next target. Her attention quickly shifts
back onto Jinx, watching as the claw swipe comes near her and
then moving in to grab the underside of her opponent's wrist
with her right hand. One swift snag would be all that Rosie
needed to nullify the slash right before it could reach her,
thanks to her razor-sharp reflexes kicking in. Of course, she
       wouldn't just stop there!
While holding Jinx's wrist, Rosie would step to the cat's right
side while hurling a fast left elbow strike underneath the
captive arm, striking the armpit area just right of the chest.
If successful, the kunoichi would extend the same attacking arm
to slam the face with a backfist strike before finally letting
go of Jinx's hand to add in a right-hand straight punch to the
chest and finally push the target back with a front kick to the
stomach, all to be backed up with well-trained precision and
speed. In the midst of her last kick, Rosie would let out a
fierce kiai, a shout martial artists use to exert their stored
energy throughout their strikes, to amp up the force behind it
further for a harder hit. "Hyah!!"

When Rosie caught her swipe with a surprisingly secure snag Jinx
let loose another hiss through partially gritted teeth. Not
really being in a position to effectively block or lessen what
was coming Jinx had little choice but to let her fight or flight
adrenaline fuel her and soak up what she could from the echidnas
onslaught of onslaught of precise blows. Thankfully stamina was
something she’d honed in on over the years. However after
taking three hits straight in a row that was where she drew the
line. Using the small advantage of having her personal space
back due to taking the punch to the chest admittedly had left
her staggering she recovered momentarily her irises murderous
       slits.
Instead of countering the echidnas kick with one of her own Jinx
waited the other female was well within close range having
quietly focused on channelling her shadow magic to lend her an
unfair hand. If her cunning response time worked as she hoped it
would Rosie would feel the same claws that she’d tried to
avoid digging ferociously under her fur and into the flesh of
her ankle, and then she would find herself being whirled
violently around and tossed haphazardly for the wall of the
cave. Fuelled by her more chaotic energy the feline made no
signs of slowing if her toss had followed through to her
expectations before the echidna could hit the cave wall Jinx
would morph herself into a shadow and take off at a speed swift
enough to make sure she was in time to deliver a secondary
attempted nasty blow to the brave girl with an attempted
unrestrained roundhouse kick to her back, which if she managed
to succesfully connect would send the pink one sprawling right
back in the direction that she’d come from.
A snigger escaping her lips, Jinx went in for the third
underhanded strike but didn’t manage to land it…

Seething with anger Sonya rushed the feline the instant she
witnessed the cats sneaky attempt at shameless a fighting
strategy. Almost a blonde blur albeit not quite on sonic levels
with the speed she took off in, she channelled her her
force-field energy to her feet for the boost knowing that
otherwise she wouldn’t have managed to cover the distance
in such a short amount of time. The treacherous purple cat at
least had the decency to look surprised when they collided but
then she started laughing at her which was more infuriating. Her
grip not quite strong enough keep Jinx in a hold she got thrown
off but she didn’t let that deter her. She came straight
back her fist looping in in an attempt to catch the feline clean
across the face. Unfortunately for Sonya the feline anticipated
and caught that which locked them in a miniature power struggle.
Until the fox medic slammed her knee violently into the lavender
cats ribs. Followed by more punches not all of them that she
could manage to block. Sonya tried to follow up with a knee
crashing into her side, but the cat released a sound close to a
screech, and launched her backwards with unexpected force.
This time more in control of her bodys reaction Sonya curled
herself into backwards rolls to absorb most of the pain from the
impact only coming up on one knee when she came to a still. Her
expression riddled with concern for potential the welfare of the
other girl but as far as that went she remained uncertain.
