Re: A Warrior's Meditation... (Open for up to Three)

Letting her sharp reflexes shine, Rosie quickly moves in to
deflect Veira's punch with a left arm block, swatting the wolf's
fist away from her body. From there, the echidna would suddenly
bring up her right foot for a fast front kick to the abdomen,
retracting her leg back afterwards to follow up with an abrupt
side kick the face. "Hyah!"

Veira's hit was swatted away from her as she tried to punch
Rosie. Clearly she was no pushover. And Veria was about to learn
that the hard way as she took a shoot to the gut before a second
kick was aimed for her face. Lucky her body is quick to react as
she catches the leg and with unknown strength, she hurls Rosie
towards the lake an a attempt to get some distance before
attacking again.
" Haaaa!" she yelled as she flung Rosie into the open air.

However, Rosie would have a bit of surprise for her opponent.
Right as Veira would start to release her grip during the throw,
Rosie would bring her other leg towards her captive on and
abruptly clamp down on the wolf's arm with both of her feet. As
a result, the echidna would anchor herself onto Veira to prevent
herself from being sent flying while lowering herself towards
the grass, planting her hands on the ground. Now it was her
turn to show off her strength!
Though power wasn't a aspect Rosie primarily focused on, Rosie
possess quite of bit of lower body strength, primarily in her
legs, giving her the ability to pull off some heavy-duty kicks,
but that wasn't the only thing she could do! Using that same
strength, Rosie would pull both of her legs inward, keeping her
grip on Veira's arm to yank her off the ground with great force
and swing her over her to slam her on the ground instead. A
common leg grab reversal Rosie liked to try. "Hyah!"

Veira thought she was in the clear having thrown Rosie quite a
fair distance. However her plan was thrown out the window as the
fighter clamped herself to Veira's arm. And before she realized
it, she was flung to the ground with a reversal with enough
force to knock the wind out of her temporarily. Gasping for air
from the surprised shock, the huntress tried to free herself by
punching at any spot close to her. She was trying to refraim
from tapping into her powers just yet. So she was handicapping
herself.

Of course, Rosie wasn't just going keep hold of her opponent's
arm after slamming her. Right after her reversal throw
succeeded, Rosie releases her grip on Viera's arm and
repositions herself into a handstand, promptly springing away
from her opponent in time to avoid taking a punch to her legs.
She'd gracefully flip back to her feet and shift back to her
stance, eagerly waiting for the wolf to retaliate against her.

Rosie didn't have to wait long as Veira was already up on her
feet after missing her attack and proceeded to dash at Rosie
with lightning speed. She would almost look like a blur of light
as she throw a barrage of punches in rapid formation. She
decided to show off just a bit of speed to her opponent to show
her she was far from finished.

Thankfully, Rosie was used to such speed in a battle scenario,
as she quickly snaps back to defense and uses her own feat of
agility to evade the punches as they came. She giggles a bit,
already feeling great about having opponent that seemed to be as
fast as her. If anything, this meant Rosie would be in for a
healthy challenge, the very thing she loved in a fight!
Keeping her eyes out for openings, Rosie would then thrust
herself forward for a forceful side punch to the stomach while
ducking under another of Veira's punches, attempting to
interrupt her attack flow and catch her off guard. Rosie would
bring that same arm up for an uppercut to the chin then twirl
into a spinning back kick to the chest. It was becoming more
and more evident that Rosie enjoyed using her speed to pummel
her foe with many choice combos when she was able to.

Veira was surprised at Rosie's fast reflexes. It was almost
scary how well she reacted. Then again Veira was holding her
punches for safety reasons. She was thrown off guard as her
punch missed leaving her with a painful side punch to the
stomach causing her to lose a bit of balance. The uppercut
grazed her chin as she stepped back. And before she knew it she
was greeted with a powerful kick to boot. Raising her arms up
just in time to slide back from the blow.
That was it....Veira tightened her gloves as a power surge flew
through her. No more games. She was gonna test this girls
limits. Taking one step back she positioned herself into a sword
like stance before gesturing Rosie to come at her.
" Ok clearly I am slacking but this time I fight for real...come
on!" she shouted proudly.

Immediately sensing the energy surge within the wolf, Rosie was
honestly a bit surprised to see Veira bring out her power so
soon. It was earlier than she had anticipated...but she didn't
protest at all. In fact, the echidna smiles at her opponent's
bold claim of kicking things up a notch. They were going to
turn up the intensity anyway, so why wait?
"Cranking it up, already?" Rosie casually questions. The
warrior emits a soft chuckle as she calmly closes her eyes. "As
you wish!"
The warm-up may have ended a bit early, but now was the time.
The gloves were coming off. Rosie silently takes a deep breath
as allows her true inner power to be released, causing a
mysterious blue flare, cool to the touch, to shroud her entire
body. This the energy of the attribute she earned during her
early years of training, an invigorating power that works in
synch with her body and mind and is further amplified by the
warrior's own burning spirit: her Aura. Rosie aura was the mark
of her true, unleashed strength, which she usually only uses
when the battle gets serious. The warrior finds honor and value
in a fair fight so she never likes to exert her aura against an
opponent without any powers of their own, but Veira was a
different case. Plus, the wolf's admiral confidence and spunk
further motivated the echidna to really let loose. Her desire
for a fun, casual fight quickly shifted to that of a brawler
that really wanted to give her opponent a fierce challenge!
As her aura continues to flow around her, Rosie own physical
strength, endurance, and stamina was gradually being amplifed to
give herself a slight boost. She allows this to go on for
several short seconds before the glow around her eventually
disappears. Rosie eyes quickly snap open at this point,
revealing a challenging glare aimed right at Veira. As she
quickly snaps back to her Taekwondo stance, the echidna kiais
with great intensity.
"Bring it on!!"

As Veira watched Rosie, she could feel the distance in power as
she saw the body glow from her opponent. Was this her aura that
she talked about? A small smirk appeared on the wolf as she
waited patiently for Rosie to get into battle ready mode. Her
tail swaying in excitement. Once the aura vanished and Rosie's
eyes snapped open, Veira knew this was gonna get serious. As
soon as Rosie shouted for her to bring it, the huntress's tail
slapped the ground leaving a crack in the surface as she
vanished in a flash of light.
Within the next second, Veira was at Rosie's left side as she
unleashed a rapid fire punch combo as her body surged with
lightning. If one punch managed to land, Rosie would feel a
strong static like shock flow through her.
