Shadow is mildly surprised the force behind her kick matched his
own, he recalled her knowledge of pressure points used to stop
Amy's traumatic episode caused by his own misdeed. It's clear
someone taught her how to fight, and they taught her well.
Speaking of Amy, the doctor's words packed enough potency to
take away his ability to rebuttal her claim, the truth will
always come to light no matter what, even if he didn't want to
be reminded of his mistake. "Then explain yourself" He retorted
as he hopped backwards, putting his arms up into a fighting
stance, narrowing eyes trained on Sonya.
"Why are you working with Scourge to blow up our pr-ARGH!" He
wasn't allowed to complete his sentence by that mangy imposter,
how Rude! Then again its his own fault for not keeping his guard
up. Knife wounds appeared on his chest forcing the dark
doppelganger to cover it up with a hand. His foe's taunting for
him to show his power is something Shadow is happy to obliged.
"You asked for it!" he raised a hand to gather chaos energy
particles until it turns into a sparking yellow glow, quickly
fired six Chaos Spears at the pair.
A set of three arrow-shaped energy projectiles traveled toward
Sonya, the other set of three gunning for Scourge.

Skidding backwards from the impact of Shadows attack, she took a
secret amount of satisfaction from the fact that she was able to
counter his secondary attack accordingly. But that didn’t
mean she was going to start getting cocky by any means. Her
guard remaining up despite the distance now put between them,
her fighting stance mirrored his own her whole body tense while
they locked gazes. When he began to demand that she explain the
situation Sonya saw a glimmer of hope, but before she had a
chance to give him her explanation her partner took it upon
himself intervene. A small but weary smile tugging at her lips
when the words. “I DON'T LIKE OTHER PEOPLE TOUCHING MY
STUFF." Thundered against her fluffy sensitive ears, she gave a
small affectionate shake of her head, but that affection soon
turned to sharpness as she witnessed the deep gashes that opened
up across the black hedgehogs chest moments after.
“SCOURGE.” She snapped hoping to seize his
attention. “We’re not here so you can slash him into
ribbons!”
Rolling her blue eyes skyward, upon listening to him taunt
Shadow more she spoke again.“Now you’ve done
it!” Ocean blue coloured particles forming rapidly into
the familiar shape a baton, the fight of her flight instincts
took over when she saw the chaos spears soaring straight for
them. Twirling her assembled weapon swiftly in circular motions,
this time she was ready for the attack. Not slowing down her
twirling she used the whirling speed of her weapon to her
advantage to shield herself from her half of the spears. With
that taken care of she broke into a sprint towards Shadow, and
at the last second when within close enough range she sprang
herself upward, manoeuvring herself into an agile back flip over
his head, before she landed behind him, her electric blue baton
of energy extending in a length long enough to wrap around his
front. Knowing that she wouldn’t have long before Scourge
added more fire to the fuse, Sonya attempted to jerk Shadows arm
from behind and lock it into place. She just needed him to
simmer down long enough for her to hear her out. "Look Shadow I
don’t want to fight you! if you could just listen. I'm not
working with Scourge! i mean yes technically i am. But he has
nothing to do with why we're here. I was sent here on The
Kingdom Of Acorns authority to dispose of G.U.N.S weapons wing
because of the misuse that's going on with them here! blowing up
the building and harming anyone else wasn't the intention!"

Scourge weaved out of the way from the chaos blasts with
relative ease. He tossed his combat knife from hand to hand like
he was antsy to sink it deeper into the black hedgehog's flesh.
When Sonya tried to dial back Scourge's murderous tendencies he
walked forward pointing towards the enemy. "If you hadn't
noticed that last attack could have killed you. He's not like
Sonic where he'll beat you into submission. With guys like him,
it's take them out, before they take you out." When Sonya held
GUN's living weapon in place, he smiled looking down to his
knife before gently pressing the tip to the hedgehog's torso.
He gave an annoyed glare addressing the blonde killjoy. "Fine, I
won't kill him." He said before lowering the knife. "You know
the story why this bunker is sitting on enough firepower to
plunge Mobius into a hundred apocalypse? Don't get me wrong I
can appreciate that kind of destruction, but when I kill Sonic,
I want something left to rule over."
