Appearance:
A unique robot design to say the least, MI is constructed to
resemble an average mobian to the letter, using a robotized one
as a base of reference. That being said, he is anything but such
a creature. He is constructed with an internal compartment
packed full of unique equipment and technology for his given
parameters. This is then surrounded with a thin metal wall and
coated in nanite-infused metal plates. When in default mode he
looks like a mobian but without any kinds of defining features
and soulless eyes. He is a blank canvas to be shaped and
modeled. Though it is not in his programming to be in that state
outside of the base.
Weapons of choice:
Close quarters is what he deals with and preferably without
combat at all. However, MI still packs a set of nasty surprises
if caught. These include poison gas, a dart gun with poisoned
ammo and an extendable knife. He also comes with a reasonable
unarmed package installed, allowing him to go into a fistfight
with a reasonable chance of winning.
Preferred combat tactic:
Remain hidden and don’t do anything stupid. MI is of the firm
opinion that no one should be killed if he does his job
correctly… unless his job is to remove someone. Then he can do
that as well. Or sow chaos, in which case all restrictions are
off.
Personality:
MI’s personality matrix is programmed to make him tricky,
manipulative and deceptive. He is quick to adapt and will try
and fool his opponent by any means at his disposal. He also has
some sort of snarky quirk in his programming when he finally
speaks to others and isn’t set to imitate others. But given that
he is a robot, his personality isn’t very deep… but then again,
programming errors can lead to quirks showing up as time goes
on.
More importantly, his personality core is build with a lot of
flexible blanks for the purpose of impersonation.
Backstory:
Build by Eggman as the first in a new line of infiltrator bots,
MI-09 is a strange and unique beast. His shell made to resemble
an average mobian with a coating of nanites that allow the shell
to mold itself into whatever shape possible, allowing the
machine to morph into whatever mobian he’d need to look like. He
comes equipped with a sophisticated CPU and several scanners,
trackers and other tools to keep him hidden, making him a
masterful infiltrator. Covert operations is the field he works
in with unending dedication and simulated pride.
The project has taken a long time to complete and test, but with
most of the major glitches out of the system, MI is finally
ready to be released for field testing and duties. He has not
intentions of disappointing.

Combat abilities:
Abilities/Strengths:
Mimic - His signature ability, mimic causes the nanomachines on
his surface to shape the outer layer of metal to mimic the
appearance needed and create the color pattern needed as well,
creating a solid disguise that can’t be disrupted easily.
Structural Mapping and Integrity scan (SAI) - A system designed
to scan a building and map out the floor plans, along with
potential weak points using a mix of X-Ray and other measuring
tools. It normally runs passively on low power and maps the
areas MI passes through, but he can boost it and perform a full
building scan in a few minutes.
Voice modulator - Arguably one of his most important tools apart
from his mimic ability, his voice modulator is incredibly
advance and can mimic a voice to near perfection if logged in
his memory banks. The makes him much harder to pick out when he
is on the job.
Magnetic pads/Flight - Be it for escapes or just increased
mobility, MI has thrusters build into his feet along with some
magnetic pads that allows him to stand on most metallic surfaces
while also giving a quick way to relocate or escape.
Computer/radio interfacing - He speaks, writes and understand
binary fluently and his hacking abilities are nothing to sneeze
at. Also, through his com array, he can hook into internet,
radio and other frequencies. Furthermore, he can scramble
systems to hide himself from sensors completely.
Tracking - MI-09 also comes equipped with a variety of tracking
equipment to suit most of his mission needs, from Heartbeat
sensors to Sonar.
Weakness:
Power management - While he has a massive arsenal of equipment
at his disposal, his power unit can’t run it all at the same
time, meaning he will have to make sure he manages it well or
risk running out of power, overheating and/or overloading his
systems.
Download required - Despite being programmed with the ability to
improvise on the fly, MI-09 no doubt performs best if everything
he needs is downloaded before the mission starts. This includes
details on who he is impersonating, along with anything extra
outside of his standard configuration.
Lack of true flexibility/creativity - Once again, despite his
programming leaving blanks to allow him the ability to be
flexible and improvise, he lacks true creativity. Because of
this, he is required to run calculations and scenarios to cover
all his options and make educated guesses rather than dream up
something completely original. Even with access to the databanks
he will forever have his options somewhat limited.
Heavy steps - Being a robot and made out of metal, despite it
being a lightweight alloy, he does weigh more than the average
mobian despite not looking like it. Therefore, his steps are
usually heavy no matter what. It’s a small imperfection but
still one the trained eye can detect. But for MI it’s a
calculated risk.
Metal detectors - MI might be able to hide his signature from
scanners and detectors for a bit, but apart from that he can be
detected by a metal detector as his alloy still causes a minor
positive feedback that a normal organic couldn’t produce.
Shaping time - To achieve a disguise that looks proper under
closer inspection, MI-09 needs considerable time to model the
finer features which can easily take 15 minutes at least. While
he can fix up a disguise from his databank in moments it will
still be making small adjustments afterwards. But it won’t be
hard to find him if he is forced to change appearance on the fly
and in a hurry.
Nanite limitations - Another limitation to his mimic ability is
his inability to be bigger or smaller than his shell beyond a
few centimeters, which is why he was build to look as average as
possible, to cover the most possibilities. Therefore he is also
limited in what kind of animal he can shape into and look
convincing.
