Outright disgust forming across Renas carefully make up painted
features she did not hesitate to give the social reject before
her an all to important reality check. Failing to snatch her
wrist out of her vice like grip, her next reply was frustration
induced hiss. "Get over yourself man shoulders newsflash but I
do whatever I want when I want these school rules are pointless
anyway. Oh heavens no my manners in this dump aren’t quite up to
standard whatever will I do?” Spiteful sarcasm laced in each
word she grit her teeth as the hedgehogs grip tightened. “Who do
you think your’re calling stupid GEEK! the only delusional one
out of the two of us here is you.. I can’t believe you actually
think your’re getting away with this!" Now bristling with rage
at this point Rena was no longer keeping her go to brand of
cool.
“Bring this to the principal see if I care! It’s your word
against mine and really who do you think he’s going to believe?
I’m an honour student sweetie, my parents donate THOUSANDS to
fund this place none of these idiots are going to open their
mouths if they know what’s good for them, so try me insect.”
Shooting an icy glare in the direction of the brave few that had
nodded about testifying against her she scowled while cradling
her now bruised wrist and only just managed to keep her footing
after furless reject decided that she was no longer capable of
proper hand coordination she fought off the urge to scream right
at her. Completely ignoring that those lesser than her we’re now
making unneeded fuss over whats her face. “Rena are you okay?!”
Turning her glare on one of her dim witted minions, she snapped.
“Do I look ok?! that pink nutcase just went and inflicted
physical assault!” Stiffening at being given orders Rena
flounced past Amy, purposely shoving her in the shoulder as she
did so. I don’t take orders loser, I give them I’m not cleaning
that up! as if!” Sliding into her seat at the back, she snapped
her fingertips condescendingly at her ‘friends’ "While I may not
be cleaning it up the two of you better.. HURRY IT UP ALREADY!”
If she hadn’t of taken a less than welcome iced coffee bath she
probably would have cheered watching her classmate rise up to
take on Rena directly. Watching the exchange between the two she
stayed huddled by Violas side taking quiet comfort from the fact
that instead of subtly trying to find her seat like she could
have done she didn’t move instead choosing to stay with her.
Allowing the pink one to help her back to her feet, it took
every ounce of her remaining strength not to cry from her
unexpected act of kindness. Barely able to mumble a thank you
out before she was passed back to Violas care Sonya made a
mental note to thank the hedgehog later. Feeling a wave of
nausea overcome her after a few minutes, the fennec leaned
slightly against Violas side, as they made their leave, she at
least managed to murmur something positive into her new friends
ear. "Thank you for hitting her with your instrument case that
looked like it hurt and quite frankly she deserved it.”
Suppressing a giggle at Violas mention of Rena being on her
whack list, she gave a subtle nod of agreement.
In the Nurses office.
Now laying back on the single bed in the medical room in the
fresh school uniform that Viola had thankfully provided for the
second time today. She allowed a few moments to pass, before she
got tired of waiting to rely on the apparent healing qualities
that a half empty ice pack was supposed to have. Sitting up
straight, she swung her legs out of the bed, letting them dangle
over the edge, before she spoke. Viola, you didn’t have to stay
with me you know I mean not that I don’t appreciate it because I
really do! But your’re missing classes because of me and now
we’re both behind and it’s the first day.” Large fluffy ears
drooping, she timidly continued. I can’t do much to thank you..
but I’m not as useless as Rena makes out.” Not giving her new
found friend a chance to ask what she meant, Sonya was already
taking hold of her hand. Upon direct contact with the fennec
Viola would feel the equivalent to a soft stream water sensation
running through her, a lightness as any after effects she may
have experienced from getting shoved earlier eg a mild headache
would have evaporated there and then as a tranquil electric
green aura engulfed them both, for a few minutes before fading
around the same time that Sonya choose to open her sky blue
irises. “Did that help?..”

As the two girls sat and talked, the nurse came to check on
another student next to them. A doe that seemed to be dazed as
she just sat there and looked at the ground.
"How are you feeling Maria?" the nurse asked, "it was nasty fall
you had. You're lucky to only be dazed and have a light
concussion."
"I- i don't know," Maria answered as she looked up at the nurse,
"i- i just want to get to class."
"I know, but you can't overexert yourself with how you've hit
your head," the nurse sighed and patted her on the back, "i am
certain there's no bleeding within your cranium, but we can't
take any chances. So don't stress yourself, got it?"
"Y- yes," Maria nodded, "i- i will."
"Splendid, you can tell the teacher that i have cleared to show
up a bit late if need be," the nurse smiled before leaving Maria
to sober up. Even if the doe didn't seem happy about the
prospect.

The armadillo sat on the roof of the school staring at the sky.
He wasn't a fan of school, it limited his ability to roam.
Mighty was a free spirit. He only attended school because his
parents made him. It was imbetween classes when he got up here.
The mobian heard the bell ring. "Well, I guess I'm late." Mighty
said outloud. He figured he was alone on the roof and that no
one would find him up here. He was wrong. As he stood up to get
to class he turned to face a group of male students. "This is
where we skip class armadillo. I'm sick of finding you up here."
A male snake said from the center of the group. Mighty knew this
kid, his name was Tobias. The group were your typical highschool
thugs. "I say we learn him, boss." A chameleon said from right
side of the group. The armadillo shrugged with a smile on his
face. "I go where I want guys. You all know that." Mighty was
slowly backing away from the group. The snake creeped closer as
Mighty drew back. " Look, boss, the armadillo is scared." One of
the thugs said from the back of the group. A monkey of some
sort, Mighty couldn't really tell. Mighty tried to take another
step back, but his heal hit the edge of the roof. The snake was
on him now. The armadillo wasn't a fighter, the goons were.
"Guys, really I don't want any trouble I just needed some me
time." The snake wrapped his tail around Mighty's leg. Mighty
was in trouble at least that is what the snake thought.. As the
snake moved close, the door on the roof opened. A few teachers
stepped out from the door way. 6 students not in class was a big
deal. As the group got distracted by the teachers Mighty knew
this was his chance. Using his super speed he unwrapped the
snakes tail from his leg and sprinted to the only place he
thought he could get an excuse, the nurses office. The armadillo
was a mess after the run his jacket, shirt, and pants all
wrinkled. He purposely stumbled through the door like he was
feeling ill. "Nurse, I think I might need to leave..." The
armadillo said putting on his best sick voice. He looked up at
the room full and took a seat in a chair for waiting students.
His arms clenched around his stomach. Out in the hall he saw the
group being hearded to the princepals office. Faintly he could
hear Tobias' plea. "It was Mighty's idea, I tell you. He was
there."

Petrov sighed as he glanced at his watch. This was bloody
brilliant, wasn't it? First day of school and the public transit
system decided to die on him. The metro line had gone okay, but
then the bus had gotten in a rough congestion and he was going
to run late. That was beyond certain. So he would just have to
yuck it up and live with it. Even then, he didn't really care
for the lesson, he was just annoyed that he would be late to see
his class mates again. So if the bus didn't want to help, he'd
just run.
At the next stop, the tiger jumped off and broke into a mad dash
for the school. He might not be the fastest or the strongest
despite being one of the tallest for his age. But he would be
faster on foot at this point as he cut across a park and more
rather than follow the streets.
By the time he did reach the school he was heaving for breath
and sweating. Now he had at least had some exercise for the day
as he walked through the main door and down the main hall.

Amy raised an eyebrow at Rena's 'comeback' and openly scoffed at
the bragging of the 'thousands' the other girl's parents had
donated. "Oh. Really? Thousands, huh? I am aware of your
parent's company. Business must be excellent, good for them."
she said, completely not impressed, but gave credit to where it
was do and that was for the Rouge family's patron. "I'm sure
they are very proud at how you flaunt their wealth around as if
it was your own. Pathetic." And with that, she turned on her
heel and went back to her desk. 'Hmph, HER? Honour student?
Don't make me laugh.' she thought as she sat down and returned
to her book.
She really couldn't stand people like Rena; Selfish, spoiled,
and a complete stuck-up snob. People that think they are
entitled because they are under the delusion that their parent's
hard-earned wealth was just going to be given to them on a
silver platter. 'If by chance she does try to succeed her
parent's company, then it will be worth nothing in a year's
time. I'll have to ask Rob for information on who their
investors are and who holds the majority of the shares.' She
thought to herself, standing as the teacher arrived and bowed
with the class and took her seat again and began to take
detailed notes for herself and those other two girls.

As Viola walked Sonya to the nurse's office, she laughed a
little when being thanked about hitting Rena with her instrument
case and that she deserved it. "Well, if it wasn't for Miss Rose
standing in, I may have accidentally knocked it into her head to
rattle some sense back into it. But, it went better than it
could have. Just good to see other's care and not all in the
trance of popularity." She stated as they went inside the room
where the nurse was. Viola sat on the chair next to the bed the
nurse had Sonya lay in. She was writing it a notebook that was
different from everyone else's, it was a homemade notebook with
blank sheet music and she was writing down music notes to the
tune she was humming. Anything music related came to her like a
breeze and honestly helped her focus on her work around her,
even though it seem impossible for others to do, that's just how
her mind worked. If she was drawing or writing, it kept her on
tract and anything being verbally said, would sink right in. Her
attention was taken away, however, when Sonya suddenly sat up in
bed and turned to face the hedgehog. "Don't worry about me
missing classes, the Principle and I have an understanding. I
usually get the lecture down, pick up the assignment, then head
to the band room to do my work. I keeps me away from others and
I'm less distracted that way so I can get my work done in a
snap. So, I'm covered. And how Rose seems to be, I think she'll
have you covered too." Viola lowered her head it seemed at the
same time as the fennec's ears did when she spoke so...timidly,
there was no need for her to feel that way. "No need to thank
me, I don't think you're-" She was cut off by Sonya taking her
hand, looking down at them for a moment before feeling a soft
water-like calmness taking a hold of her, making her close her
eyes. The purple haired girl felt relaxed, probably more so than
she has in a long time. What seemed like a long time, Viola
began to blink her eyes open in calm shock. "What...was that? It
did help, a lot. But what was it?"
The young hedgehog looked to the side and saw a doe who was
laying in the bed, she didn't look to be feeling well and it got
Vi a little worried if Rena got to this girl as well. Listening
into the conversation, Vi decided to ask the doe just what was
going on. "Hey, are you alright? If you don't mind me asking,
what happened to you? Did someone do this to you?" It sounded
prying, but she really wanted to know if it was the same girl,
because there was going to be some serious problems if it was.
Viola liked to keep to herself, but when others were having
problems, she always found herself trying to help. Kind hearted
nature from her mother, a gift and a curse, but she was happy
with it. Most of the time. Now, another student came in acting
sick. Acting. The hedgehog knew better because she would feel
what it was and she really couldn't blame him. "Nurse, ma'am.
Sonya is better now, we can move and let him have the bed now,
if that's okay. We can still sit here and wait while you draw up
the paper work. He just seems to need it more than we do that."
And with that being said in a sweet and sincere voice, she would
listen in on the boys across the hall trying to convince the
Principal that it was all Mighty's idea for what ever happened.
She may chime into that, just because the Principle liked her
and trusted what she said, most of the time.

“Lets just say I have my own means of talent when required.” Not
getting to elaborate much further on her mysterious healing
abilities the fennec glanced sideways in sync with her new
friend, her eyes widening, registered who it was. Following on
from what Viola asked Sonya was by her friends side in an
instant, her hand resting gently on her arm. It was clear from
the fennecs change in attitude that was well within her comfort
zone with this particular doe and cared deeply for her well
being. Currently all sorts of worse case what if scenarios were
racing through her head though she could only manage to timidly
whisper.“Maria it’s me Sonya, please look at me everything is
alright now you can tell us what happened.” Her fussing over
Maria interrupted by another the armadillo wandering into the
room to join them Sonya kept her expression impassive for the
sake of not giving his ruse away, but he wasn’t exactly an
actor. But given the situation she’d overheard him fleeing from
she didn’t blame him for attempting to make a hasty getaway.
Nodding in agreement with Viola, she fixed a polite smile across
her muzzle, before adding in. “Yeah Nurse Ma’am he really
doesn’t look all that great I’m happy to move aside so he can
take the bed for the time being.”

The nurse looked up at Mighty as he said he needed to go home
due to illness.
"Is that so?" she asked and put down her paperwork before
standing up, "well, in that case i suppose we better check how
bad it is, won't we? One moment, i will be with you shortly."
She looked to the others and saw that Sonya was up and about
again, letting the bed be used again, "well then, come on in
then, Mighty. We will see how well you're faring."
Maria meanwhile, looked up and seemed to think a bit as Viola
asked her what was wrong. Then she took a deep breath.
"Um... i fell down the main flight of... stairs. I just lost my
footing," she answered slowly, seemingly going on the defensive
in response to the prying, "It- it's nothing. Don't mind me...
although the concern is appreciated."
However, once Sonya came over and asked her what was wrong, she
seemed to lighten up at the sight of her chemistry friend.
"Sonya? Goodness am i glad to see you again, where you've been?"
she asked her with a weak but concerned smile, "i've been trying
to call, mail and even write an old fashion letter to you. But
you never replied. What happened?"
With her own question out of the way she fall silent again
before finally relenting, "it was Sabine that did it. She was in
a hurry and forced me aside. I... tried to make her apologize.
But she shoved me back again... this time down the stairs. Then
she was off."

Not buying the excuse that Maria gave Viola for a minute Sonya
was relieved when she decided to open up and tell her what was
actually going on when she asked. Although not before asking a
rightfully justifiable question of her own. Where had she been?
Being an utterly cowardly friend that’s where she’d
been. Her avoidance of her two best friends for the past week or
so had started because the none doe member of their group had
decided that it was the best move to tell her things regardless
or whether or not her feelings were hurt because of what he
revealed. Biting the inside of her cheek anxiously for a moment,
she spoke her eye contact occasionally shifting.
“I-I’m sorry Maria, I’ve been really caught up
in the own bubble lately and I’ve pretty much shut
everything out but I promise you I’ve read all the emails
you sent, listened to all the voice mails, and I read and kept
your lovely detailed handwritten letter..i really appreciate
that you were worried but I’m.. “ Feeling both her
throat and chest constrict the fennec knew that she
couldn’t finish the sentence with something she knew was a
lie. “You and Petrov are probably better off without me
and that’s a win for everyone right?”
Returning her smile, with a slightly shakier one of her own, her
smile got thinner and thinner throughout the does recollection
of events. Sabine the block headed jock from the sports team! It
came to no surprise that she’d be the one behind something
so cruel. A spur of the moment idea coming to her Sonya spoke to
Maria directly. [b]“M-Maria I’m going to fix this I
promise.” Giving her shoulder a comforting squeeze she
turned and was off out the door, ignoring the nurses shouting.
“Sonya! come back here!”

Outside on the school grounds.
From her concealed hiding spot the tiny fox felt like she was
going to throw up. What on earth was she doing?! She was in way
over her head here. The visuals of the what if outcome of how
she could of seen Maria together flashing in her mind was the
only reason that she wasn’t trying to bury her head in the
sand. Taking a deep breath to try and calm her nerves the fennec
waited until she had Sabine in her sights, as expected she was
coming up the stairs that lead onto the open field with the rest
of the empty headed jocks. Her sky blue hues slowly misting over
into a dark luminous red, Sonya splayed her palm outwards, and
at the same time Sabine would find that instead of taking the
final step up, that her foot would come down and miss the step
completely instead, resulting in her toppling rather violently
backwards down the remaining steps, and her head getting caught
in a bucket full of chemically engineered lab slime that awaited
her at the bottom of the stairs with the words ‘I SHOULD
PICK ON SOMEONE MY OWN SIZE.’ Scrawled in blood on the
outside of the bucket.
Making sure that she recorded the whole amusing ordeal Sonya
felt her heart pounding in her chest. She’d done it!
she’d actually done.. a gruff female behind her making her
jolt, she suddenly had a very bad feeling. “HEY! GUYS I
THINK THIS LITTLE RUNT HERE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SABINES NOT SO
ACCIDENTAL ACCIDENT! WHAT DO YA SAY WE TEACH DUMBO HERE WITH
HAPPENS WHEN FREAKS GET TO BIG FOR THEIR BOOTS! GET HER!”
Letting out of a scream, Sonya dodged and ducked the older girls
grabs, only just making a last minute escape by sliding only her
legs, and making a frantic sprint for it.

The armadillo got up and walked over to the now empty bed. He
sits on the side letting his legs sway. Though in all that time
he lifted his head long enough to give Sonya and Viola a wink.
He wasn't nervous about lying to the nurse. He had done this
plenty of times before. The armadillo was trying to keep his act
together. "My stomach is killing me, nurse. I think I might have
to go home for the day." The armadillo paused but only breifly.
He hadn't came up with where he was before the nurses office. He
had to make a point to have a location ready next time. "I-I
uhh.. I was in the second floor restroom throwing up, before I
came in here." The armadillo dragged out slowly. Faking a grunt
here or there to add to the effect. Mighty then found himself
side tracked by the conversation with the three girls. He wasn't
the only one with a bully problem. The armadillo quickly stood
up. "Hey, would you look at that. I'm feeling better." Mighty
dashed out of the nurses office a broad smile on his face. He
was going to cause a little rucus. His smile broadened as he
went from running at a regular pace to running at his fullest
sprint. He quickly had all five of the guys from the princepals
office to the outside. They all looked around confused because
they had no idea how they made it outside. Mighty speaks up from
behind the group in a coy mocking fashion. "Hey guys. Did you
miss me?" The group turned to where his voice was, but he wasn't
there. Tobias the snake leader of the group let out a hissing
yell. "I know you're here Armadillo, stop being a coward and
fight." Mighty's voice from the other side of them now. "I'm
here, you guys just can't keep up." The group again turns around
and again Mighty is gone. Tobias again hissed. "Mighty this
trick is getting old. Show yourself or so help me when you do,
me and the boys are going to do bad things to you and your
friends." Mighty got distracted by the sight of the girl falling
down the stairs. He wouldn't help her though. He was caught up
in his own moment. Mighty seemingly out of no where was in the
face of Tobias. The sudden appearance made the snake jump.
Mighty wasn't smiling, this was a strange occurance for the
armadillo and the group knew it. "Uhh.. boss... maybe we should
drop this." the chameleon stammered from the group. Tobias
locked eyes with Mighty. "Finally grew some back bone did you?"
The snake asked shaking. Mighty then noticed two things. One:
The princepal was out of his office heading straight for the
guys who had some how escaped, and two: the fox girl running
from the other girl. Mighty sighed. "No, Tobias, I just won."
Before the snake had time to blink Mighty was gone once again,
and the princepal grabbed the collar of the snakes shirt.
"Detention, you entire lot for the next 2 months. Saturday
detention as well." The princepal said dragging the snake inside
the school. Mighty ran between the fox and the other girl and
spread his arms wide, in a haulting motion. "Leave that one
alone. Or have issue with me." Mighty said eyes locked with the
student he hadn't met.
