Indeed Sofia had returned from her inspection of the kids and it
was looking decent still. The kids were scared and crying, but
that was of little consequence. What mattered was that they were
still healthy enough for Alexa's remaining experiments.
"Well, it would seem that the kids are still in a condition fit
for experimentation once this little issue is taken care off,"
she reported with a slight bow before joining her boss by her
side, "so they're surviving, huh? Hm, it would delightful if it
wasn't for the fact they are trying to disrupt us. That aside,
anything else i need to take care?"
It was a rhetorical question, she knew there was always more
work to be done and this time was no exception. Alexa had new
orders ready and they were to teach the thief some manners, "if
that is your wish, i will take care of it. Do enjoy the show."
With that she left her boss to go find the intruder. Taking it
slow and steady, she would be lying if she claimed to not be
looking forward to getting involved with herself. She didn't
mind standing back, but she was always more to the active side,
observing, adjusting and improving. Right now there was a bat
that had to be adjusted. Thanks to the cameras though, she knew
just where she could find her.
"I must admit, you're good at staying out of sight," she
declared as she pushed the doors to the room up, letting light
from the hallway flow into the room. "you managed to make my
boss compliment you, and that is no easy feat. Not even for me.
However, with that out of the way, neither me or her can allow
you to free the test subject. My boss has yet to sate her
curiosity. I must therefore ask that you to put the lockpicks
down and prepare to bring your best performance, for it will be
your last."
Before she had even finished her sentence, she had already
broken into a wild sprint towards Rouge and jumped into a drop
kick to start things off. To Rouge the new arrival could best be
described as resembling Maria if only she spent a lot of time at
the fitness center and actually had confidence and composure...
all the while lacking any and all sense of compassion. It
therefore stood to reason that her kick was going to be very
painful if she managed to connect it.

''What's with female henchmen sneaking up on me and villains and
their gloating speeches?''She said as she avoided the deer's
kick in extremis. If she had waited for a second more to fly up,
she would have taken a full hit and it would probably leave a
huge bruise. she maintained herself aloft to scan her opponent
that looked curiously like that chickening deer from earlier,
only with a more defined muscle mass and more confidence. ''What
a pity, sneaking on a bat. Next time at least try to be subtle,
no one like a chatty Katy for a henchman. It spoils the fun of
breaking their faces, besides I'm not here for you so go fetch
your boss. Now, go on. Chop chop'' She said in a very annoyed
tone clapping her hands as she looked at Sofia with disdain. She
then heard the kids, some were still crying and others cheered
for Rouge which in the end only annoyed her because she couldn't
be distracted by them while fighting Sofia.

"Hmph, and here i thought one that appears to so... refined,
baring the thief part with picking lock, would understand that
it is highly improper to not introduce oneself," Sofia scoffed
with an equal amount of disdain, "perhaps i thought to highly of
you, you filthy flying rat. Very well then, we'll do this in
silence."
She then whipped out her stim-pistol and fired an anesthetic
needle at her, even if she kept out of range of her she did have
a back up. That being said, she mostly wanted to make Rouge
slower so she could break her face.

''again, I am not here to fight with the likes of you. Go find
some hero to lose against for I am here to meet with your boss
and not here for a mere altercation with someone who can't be
their own villain and work below someone else due to a lack of
potential.'' She responded to her before catching a
tranquillizer dart flying in her direction. ''And she uses cheap
tactics, sees what's your problem? And you expect me to pick a
fight with you? Should I remind you that you didn't introduce
yourself either and you mustn't be too educated to confound me
with a rat, eating all that grass must have turned your brain to
mush. Also, the last thing, are you related to this cowardly
doe...Miss Hawkins, I believe her name was?'' The Chiroptera
placed her hands on her hips and looked at the surveillance
camera. ''I know you're watching, how rude to send me your
lackey
especially the likes of her. Did I get your attention now, or
do I really need to use violence? now come and meet me so we can
settle this peacefully and please keep your dog under a tight
leash or else...'' She swung a kick in an arc and sliced through
bars of the nearest cages and broke them in halves, in term
freeing a few children but scaring them also.

“Hold on, Sonya.” Amy reached up on her visor and pressed a
button so that an LED light shown from a small opening on her
earpiece. “There, now I can see you. Does that help?” she looked
towards the fox and then took a scan of the room. Now that the
blood was draining out of the warehouse it was easier to breathe
and the monsters didn't have the stability to take form so they
should be alright. She squinted through the droplets falling
down and began to touch the walls. “Mallow. Use your hearing and
see if you cannot locate the children or at least a way further
into this hell hole.”
The rabbit nodded and as he moved towards Amy's position and
then began to listen hard. It took a few moments but he
eventually began to pick up the sounds of young voices, the
children, and... Rouge talking to someone. “I hear Rouge, and
children through this wall.” He said, pointing to a specific
part of the interior structure.
Amy banished her piko piko hammer back to the hammerspace and
withdrew her giant hammer in its stead. She gripped it tightly
as she stepped forward. “Right then, stand back, all of you.”
She said then brace herself as she swung with all her might. The
wall, be it steel, concrete, or some other substance would cave
and/or shatter beneath her might.

Her large fluffy ears twitching in sync as Mallow picked up on
the sounds of children near by it wasn’t long before she
joined in with. "Yeah he’s right Amy! the children sound
like they’re really near by!” The fennec took a
couple of cautionary steps backwards also when asked bracing
herself for the ground shattering sound that followed when Amys
signature weapon made contact with the wall reducing it to
nothing more than a crumbing rubble heap. Trembling slightly
from the aftershock she slowly removed her hands from her ears,
her eyes widening at the scene she saw. Metallic bars were
scattered across the room clearly Rouges handiwork and multiple
groups of children were hysterically huddling in various parts
of the room some sobbing, some cheering her on. Her tremors
subsiding as she set eyes on who Rouge was facing off against
Sonya straightened herself up and started forward her fists
clenched but her expression shifting into something distinctly
more confident as her heroic attitude took the reins.
“Sorry we’re late to the party Rouge. Mind if we
lend a hand?"
Quickly surveying the scene Sonya smiled briefly in response to
the cries of relief that children gave upon their arrival though
not without acknowledging with quiet devastation that among all
the groups of children being held her little sister was not
apart of them. "The Resistance are here to save us!”
“Oh my goodness!” “We’re going to be
okay!” Eyes widening, at the sight of the group Felicity
would have been all set to let herself fade miserably into the
background if not for the sight of her mother. Granted she
looked downright terrified but that fact that she’d braved
this place at all for her sake spoke volumes. Pressing herself
against her cell that still remained locked, she joined in
during the choruses of yells. “MUMMA!” Tears welling
at the edges of her eyes she looked over pleadingly towards the
white furred rabbit beside her. "P-PLEASE GET US OUT OF HERE!"
Turning her attention coldly back to the foe at hand her next
instructions held undertones of assertive authority. "Mallow,
Maria I need you both to figure out how to open the rest of
these cages open and get the rest of the children out of here as
soon as possible. Me, Rouge, and Amy will take care of whoever
we have here.” Her blue eyes coldly narrowing, she finally
spoke to the other doe directly. “I’m only going to
make this offer once so listen up. Surrender now tell us where
your COWARD of a boss is hiding, and tell me where my sister is
or things aren’t going to end well for you.” Her
gaze drifting to the camera in the corner of the room she felt
her rage ignite as she put some of the pieces together herself,
glaring straight past the doe into the security camera lens.
“Hey! we know your’re watching come out here and
face us! instead of sending your hired help out to get her ass
kicked!”

Sofia took a moment to think it over before she shrugged and
sheathed her pistol after reloading it. Then she stood at
attention to bow before the bat, "touche, rat. Name's Sofia
Wilford and i suppose you're right, much as it pains me to see
her such a wreck. But that is not here nor there. Right now, i
think we got something to finish up, don't we?"
That was when she watched the bat slice through several bars
with a single sweeping kick. Of course she had to be a super...
why wouldn't she be? Moreover, why did she, herself, not
anticipate that? Rolling her eyes, Sofia muttered under her
breath in annoyance, "that was something i would've liked to
know, boss. Thank you very much."
She didn't get to do much more though as the wall was suddenly
blown open and showered the room in debris and dust, which did
cause the doe to cough for a moment before focusing again. The
new challengers didn't look like much, although the pink one
with her hammer was likely to be the one that had broken the
wall down so that threw the notion out the window. No more
judging books by their cover, for all she knew they could all be
supers... except for the doe with them and even if she was she
wouldn't dare act if her former performance was anything to go
by. The kids meanwhile were really getting on her nerves as she
worked on tuning them out. She didn't need their annoying cries
to distract her further. Right now, her focus was on the guests,
and more specifically, fox that looked like her boss as she was
addressed directly.
"Hmph, you must think me soft if you offer me a chance to
surrender," she scoffed and crossed her arms while sizing them
all up, "sorry to say it, but our experiments are still ongoing
and your intrusion is tampering with the test subjects, so that
won't be happening, nor will i betray my boss. I am
contractually obliged to follow her orders and i will do
dutifully as required. As for your sister? Eh, probably in there
with the rest of them if you didn't see her hanging from the
roof. I can't be expected to know all of them, i just account
for them and make sure they are all here as needed. But, by all
means, do join us, i've been looking forward to something
enjoyable... and this flying rat of yours ain't much of a sport.
Hopefully you three can do better."
Truth be told, she was lying, she'd be insulted if she couldn't
point out every kid they had taken, but she wasn't given
specifics and she was defiant so she wouldn't tell them, ever.
However, as both the fox and bat started to yell at the camera
to get her boss's attention, she just rolled her eyes and took
the opportunity to snap a quick sedation needle off at Amy
before coming at the fox, given she had taken the leader role,
and attempt to perform a high-jump kick aimed at Sonya's chin
like an uppercut.

With the help of Amy's LED light, Maria was able to at least
complete her emergency bandage so it could contain the bleeding
on it's own for now at least. But even then, she was still
broken and wanted to leave them to do the heroics that she was
clearly unprepared for... and likely would be forever. But she
still forced herself to stay with them as they tried to locate
the kids... and succeeded in doing so.
"S- so how do we get to the- argh!" she tried to ask, only
scream and cover her face as Amy brought the wall down with a
simple swing of her hammer, she sure got an impressive swing
there, "tha- that was... impressive."
As the dust settled however, Maria was left in shock as she saw
who was in the other room apart from Rouge and the kids. It was
a doe that almost looked like her exactly. The main differences
were that the one in front of her was taller, beefier and
carried herself like a proper person rather than trying to hide
away as she talked back to both Rouge and Sonya without
flinching or stammering. That and her hair was tied into a bun
rather than a pony tail like Maria did normally. As Maria looked
at her though, as much as she was cowering and afraid of her,
part of her actually admired her as well. She looked like
something Maria could've been if she wasn't such a monumental
failure at what she did in life. But at the same time she was
doing all these horrible things, which made the fact that she
even considered admiring her even more terrifying.
That, however, was when everything else ceased to exist around
her as she heard a voice call out for her in a way only one she
knew did. Quickly shifting herself to face it, she was beyond
relieved to see Felicity there, even if she was behind bars.
Nothing else suddenly seemed to matter, not the mission, the
others, or the enemy. Hell, she barely got the orders given to
her and Mallow, although she did hear part of it and she would
be more than happy to do it as she stumbled over to Fliss as
fast as she could before falling on her knees.
"Oh thank the havens you're alright," she said as she reached
out to the kitten before looking to the lock, "d- don't worry.
i- i will find a way to get you out of here. Then- then we can
go home again. Like- like nothing has happened."

Amy and Mallow nodded to Sonya's command and the pink hedgehog
focused her attention on the enemy at the ready. When she saw a
projectile coming at her she reacted before thinking, using the
rod of her hammer to block and knock it away. When she inspected
what had been shot at her, her eyes narrowed. "So that's how you
want to play? Fine." She said then flung her hammer at Sofia at
full ramrod speed. Another hammer was already in her hand by the
time she let go so she would never be weaponless. Once the
hammer made an impact, either on Sofia or on whatever it hit if
she dodged, it would vanish into a pretty array of golden
sparkles.

Meanwhile, while the others were engaged in combat, Mallow
motioned for Maria to follow and then inspected the cage's
metal. Old and rusty like this warehouse. Good. "Kids, step
back, now!" he ordered and turned up the energy on his power
boots for his kick. If he gauged it right, then this would be
enough power to bend and break the bars. "Nnnyugh!" he grunted
as he threw everything he had into a perfect roundhouse kick and
his foot slammed into the bars, the hinges creak and squealed at
the abuse and decided yielded against Mallow's strength as it
gave way and crashed down. "Everyone out! Stick close to Maria."
he gestured to the deer and moved onto the next cage.

Rouge sighed, she was called a rat again which made her cringe
and roll her eyes. ''Wow, calling a rat again and you hope that
I'd be willing to honour you with a lethal dance? Wow you're
really overconfident now, are you? Or did grazing on grass and
three branches turned your brain to mush? Keep calling me a rat,
and I will... Children don't listen to the next part. Miss
Willford is it? I will skin you alive and use your head as a
trophy, your petty insults and your big fat mouth won't lead you
anywhere with me, supposing you could use it properly
anyway.''The bat used the few seconds Sofia might have been
distracted by Amy's hammer to lunge at her. She was going in for
the kill and nothing else. No mercy this time, she had it and
keeping this felon alive would solve nothing and even if she got
arrested she'd get out like most criminals. What was one
henchwoman gone? She had launched a dropkick in her direction in
hope to break her right ankle, well pulverise it and render it
unusable for the time being. Whether or not her assault would
succeed was not important, one way or another she would get her.
