Amy Rose thanked the bouncer at the door that let her in as she
entered the Club. She looked around at the decor, admiring the
owner's taste. She was going as a gyspy fortune teller. Her
mother's old violet dress had fit her like a glove.
Complimenting it was a deep purple scarf patterned with golden
stars and moons with gold beads and coins sewn into the edge so
that once it was tied on her head in the traditional gyspy
fashion, the baubles fell beautifully on her brow. The antique
jewellery adorned her neck and arms, and some makeup painted
elegantly on her face helped complete the look. For her prop,
she chose to bring her deck of tarot cards, she thought of
taking her crystal ball, however, she didn't want to risk it
becoming broken, that and the deck would fit better in the
beaded pouch secured to her belt if she needed to free her
hands. Nothing was worse when one's costume prop got in the way
of fun.
She looked around, spotting Rouge and Sonya in an instant and
went over to greet them both. "Good fortune be in your futures,
my friends." She said in a Romanian accent she had been
practising for this party. And smiled at the bartender, "A
Shirley Temple, please." she was still recovering and mixing
certain things together was a big no-no. "You both look
wonderful."
She then addressed Rouge. "Your club is amazing, thank you for
this wonderful party, it looks amazing. I love the decorations."
She gave the room a glance about when her eyes were drawn to a
familiar looking vampiric hedgehog. "Is that Shadow?" she asked
out loud then thought to herself. 'He looks... very dashing.'

Shadow took a sip of his beverage, his foot continued to move up
and down in sync with the beat, something about this tune
intrigues the ultimate lifeform despite never having any
personal taste for music. He would've drowned in its chorus
however the mention of his name instinctively forced his skull
to look for the source, Amy's royalty style costume reflected
among his stern eyes. he pinpointed the costumes features,
showing obvious signs of a fortuneteller, a fitting attire for
her to wear on this occasion he thought to himself...not too
shabby...
"Greetings, Amy" he was nearly in a state of hypnosis by the
appearance of her costume until he snapped out of it.

Amy smiled at the black hedgehog. "Salutations, Shadow." she
said, feeling a nice warm feeling in her chest. "Have you come
to know your future?" she fanned out her tarot deck. "You look
very nice. I like your costume. It's very handsome on you." Her
face flushed a bit as she realized how bold she was being with
her words. She sipped on her drink to give him a chance to
respond.

The porcupine smiles nervously. "Trouble? I wouldn't think of
it." Reck replies to James slightly stammering. The porcupine
relaxes as Sonya spoke. She sounded so inviting. "It's nice to
meet all of you." The porcupine took the helmet ofnhis cotume
off again. His hair a mess, slightly damp from sweat.
The porcupine gets distracted by the approach of the pink
hedgehog. As she greets Sonya and Rouge. Reck smirks, figuring
they must be friends. "Everyone here seems to know someone, but
you." The porcupine shakes his head. These thoughts unwelcome.

Rouge was quite satisfied to see that her club was because a
little more lively with her recents guests arrival. "Greetings
mister Reck." She said to the porcupine before Amy Rose came to
greet her and her friends but something interesting happened.
Sonya was talking more than the bat was used to or they really
hadn't seen each other in while. It probably was the latter. The
bat felt like she needed to catch up more but it would be for
another time. "James, don't be such a stuck up. We have Shadow
to play that role already" She said playfully and wrapped her
arm around of Sonya's waist. "Now mortals, join me at my table
while we feast on a little treat I have planned for us friends"
The bat walked in the VIP section that a bouncer was guarding.
"M'aam." He said letting Rouge in as well as her sister like
figure Sonya and that dear James. "Oswald, let mister Reck in as
well."She ordered the polar bear who nodded silently. Strangely
enough the ursidae was dresses like a butler. Maybe he wasn't
very creative.
Inside the VIP, an opulent room was opened before them. Red
velvet couches and white marble tables on top of which sat
silver platters covered with fancy entrées."My friends, welcome
to the fanciest circle in hell. May your damnation be
delicious!" The bat said to add to the ambiance while two
weasels entered the room also dressed as manservants. One
holding a bottle adorned with gold leaf and the other a cristal
cup filled with exotic fruits. "Tonight we feast and celebrate
the opening of club Rouge in private."Said the bat.

[i]Grin widening at the implication of the fabulous treat that
her friend no doubt had planned, prior to being led off by
Rouge, she had taken the time to flash Amy a megawatt smile,
while fully appreciating all the effort her pink furred pal had
clearly went through to put together her flawless fortunate
teller costume complete with all the impressive trimmings
romainian accent and all. “Evening Amy! you look
absolutely fantastic i especially love your head scarf it ties
your whole Halloween outfit together beautifully..” No
stranger to taking a hint especially after overhearing the two
of them exchange such bold pleasantries, as she allowed Rouge to
confidently whisk her, Reck, and James off to the V.I.P. area
the fennec purposely shot a knowing wink Amys way, going on a
hunch that her friend probably wasn’t going to complain
about being left to mingle with Shadow.
Her attention now fully fixated on the high quality surroundings
around them, Sonya couldn’t stop the small gasp that
escaped her very red lips. Red velvet couches and white marble
tables on top of which sat silver platters covered with fancy
entrées she was hardly used to such high class experiences.
Giving Rouge a quick cuddle, the fennec wandered from her grip
to sit herself down on one of the luxurious velvet couches, her
blue eyes practically sparkling. “Rouge .. I can’t
believe you set all this up! this is amazing!”

"I am just trying to keep the peace, you know that," James
answered back with a small shrug before he bowed for Amy when
she came over to greet Rouge and Sonya, "i am here because you
asked me to, figured i would repay you with trying to keep
things civil."
He then followed Rouge as she lead him, Sonya and Reck off to
the VIP lounge for something to eat. The room itself was
certainly something to behold, Rouge hadn't been sparing any
expenses with this celebration that much was beyond doubt at
this point.
"You certainly know how to go all out, i will give you that
much," James said as he sat down with the others, "tonight we
dine in hell it seems. It looks very delicious."

The porcupine followed a small distance behind the group. He
felt tiny when he looked up at the polar bear bouncer. The
porcupine's head lowered as he walked by. Once in the VIP room,
Reck, looked at the spread of food. His jaw dropped slightly.
The porcupine wiped a small bit of droll from his lip. Though he
recently came into money. Reck was used to living poor. His
dinner usually consisting of ramen noodles or canned soup. He
chuckles at Rouge's comment about hell. Reck sits himself down
on one of the velvet couches. He sank in the couch. It was
probably the most comfortable seat the porcupine had ever sat
in. "Thank you, Rouge. I haven't saw a meal this good in a long
while." Reck mananged to stammer out completely distracted by
the food.
He made himself a small plate. Before he started eating though.
The porcupine waved his hand over his plate, looking for any
reaction from the gems on his gloves. The red and blue gems will
glow if close to anything magic. He wasn't expecting anything to
react, but one can never be too cautious. Reck bites into the
first piece of food. Slowly chewing he savors the flavors. He
lets out an audible hum enjoying the food. Before he takes
another bite, the porcupine looks at the weasels. "Is that wine,
I see?"

After paying an exorbitant amount to gain entrance the green
hedgehog was rather mythed somebody of his status couldn't get
in by name alone; he adjusted his leather jacket with the tacky
flame decals as he pushed past the bouncer and descended the
stairs to the club. Placing his hands in his jacket he looked
around spotting a few familiar faces among the crowd; despite
their costumes he knew some of these people far too well to let
a few frills or masks hide their true identities. He glanced
over towards Amy giving a warm wave lowering his arm as he saw
Shadow and adjusting his gesture to that of a middle finger so
quick it would completely elude Amy but Shadow's reflexes would
allow him to witness the cheeky shot he took at the Ultimate
Lifeform.
The green hedgehog seemed on edge as he couldn't figure out why
he was getting these disgusted looks from everybody he passed.
Wondering what was wrong he shot up to the bar before pushing
his sunglasses out of his eyes as he winked at a cute panda
girl; she turned her nose up at the speedster before picking up
her drink and moving along with her friends. The hedgehog's ears
drooped down as he'd never been shut down so quickly by a woman
before; he was used to weak knees and starstruck babbling.
Quickly growing tired with the atmosphere of the party he banged
his green boot against the bar to catch the tender's attention
before holding up his hand to order a drink; however he was
again met with scorn as the man in drag behind the bar gave a
glare before pointing to a sign that said 'We Reserve The Right
to Refuse Service To Anybody.' Before walking off to fulfill
other customers orders.
Giving a sad sigh he scratched at his left ear as if it was some
kind of involuntary tick before he lowered his head and looked
for a clear route to the exit. "Big deal...music sucks anyway."
He said lying to himself when he couldn't help but find himself
bobbing his head along to the music anyway. "Everybody here
seems like they have a stick up their ass." He idly thought to
himself before bumping into Sonya and breathing a sigh of
relief. Donning a big grin he threw his arm around the fox
before pulling her closer. "I'm surprised to see you here;
didn't think clubs were your scene?" Before long he was feeling
much better with his lovely vixen by his side as he turned and
decided to make a request. "Look I know this is a little out of
the blue but would you mind acting as my date tonight? Everybody
is giving me these weird looks and hanging out with you could
turn this night around." He said heartly before pointing towards
the bar. "Would you mind getting me a drink? The tool at the bar
won't sell me any alcohol; I'm nineteen I don't get what the big
deal is."

Having briefly excused herself from her friends, in an attempt
to find the toilets one can only imagine the surprise she got
when she bumped into none other than her green furred lover.
Jealousy flooding through her system fast and thick, she felt
herself instinctively stiffen as he threw an arm around her
shoulders, to pull her in closer range.“Well you were so
busy flirting with other girls I’m shocked you noticed
that I was here at all-“ Ears flickering at his next
sentences, it didn’t take the savvy fennec long to fit
the pieces together upon distinct recognition of the vocal
difference her confusion and hurt about her loves behaviour
evaporating and replacing for relief if anything. She dismissed
the embarrassment that threatened to overwhelm her relaxing
instantly, while cosying up close to her childhood friend in a
matter of moments all traces of defensive antagonism gone.
“Usually clubs aren’t my scene blue .. or should I
say green, killer costume by the way i love it!" A light shade
of pink seeping across her muzzle at the thought of actual
Scourge, she grinned back at Sonic warmly before she continued.
"But i couldn't not come tonight with it being the first opening
night for Rouges club and all!"
“I don’t mind being your apparent date for tonight
what kind of friend would I be if I just left you hanging? but..
if we’re going to pretend to be on a date we’re
going have to sell it, think you can do that?” Leaning in
a little closer, Sonya touched the tip of her nose flirtatiously
against Sonics own while coyly adjusting the collar of his flame
patterned leather jacket, all the while ignoring the surge of
disappointment she was beginning to feel now that she knew she
wasn’t canoodling with the real deal, she turned her
attention to the bar tender big blue eyes large and lashes long,
Sonya managed to sweet talk two alcohol beverages in under five
minutes. That taken care of she passed her attractively costumed
friend his beer, and held her fruity alcoholic cocktail in her
other hand, her free hand wrapping snugly around his waist, she
sipped casually on her drink, giving him a chance to fill in
their gaps. Amusingly enough Sonic was clearly oblivious to the
obvious as far as his less than favourable treatment tonight
from the general public went but she knew he'd figure it out
soon enough.
