Rouge bit her lip, James question threw her off. She never saw
James at a party but she didn't expect him to have no idea of
how to behave or what to do. "You really have no idea, do
you?"She was genuinely surprised. "First, you can chose to have
a drink, chat with someone or...dance?" She suggested, hoping
that Sonya would help her on this one.
Meanwhile at the bar, Ny chuckled at Reck's comment and served
him again. "Well, so far it could get more interesting. But the
night is still young" He said while playing with a strand of the
crimson hair of the wig he wore. The place was still empty then
again the night was indeed young. Rouge was a little
disappointed to see that her wasn't as popular as she'd hoped.
But having her best friends around was more than enough to enjoy
the night.

[i]Picking up on Rouges need for assistance on how James should
handle his social cues, she offered a kindly smile in the males
direction, recognition for the canine flickering across her
features instantly. He was around during all of the Orphanage
chaos not to mention he assisted when she was shoved down an
elevator shaft. Trying not to wince at the memory, Sonya pushed
the more negative thoughts to the side-lines and instead focused
on helping Rouge. She could tell that her friend was a little
disappointed that her opening night wasn’t more crowded so
a distraction couldn’t have come at a better time.
“That’s right! although you’ve done the
socialising part.. and you’ve made a start on the
drinking [b][nods her head briefly in the direction of his
side-lined bar drink] so all that’s left on the list is ..
“[/b] Not finishing the end of her sentence, the fennec
promptly grabbed James hand in one of her own, before she
grabbed Rouges in the other, leading the pair promptly onto the
fray of the dance floor, first elegantly twirling her bestie in
time with the beat of Michael Jacksons Thriller and then a
little more awkwardly twirling the male with them to the
catchiness of the tune. “Lets groove!”

Reck downs his third shot. The warmth of the alcohol a pleasing
sensation. The porcupine stands up and stretches. "Give it time.
Surely someone else will show up. I'm curious as to how this
night will play out."
The porcupine picks his helmet off the bar and places it back on
his head. "If you'll excuse me. I think it's time to go mingle."
Reck walks away from the bar.
The porcupine approaches the bat on the dance floor. "Hello
there." Reck awkwardly introduces himself amongst the group.
"This is your club isn't it?" He asks in an odd attempt to
strike conversation with the bat. Not being used to social
gatherings, Reck, finds himself lacking social protocols.

"Well, i got the drink so far," James nodded in agreement as he
took another sip, "but we both know my ability with people is
lacking and as for dancing... let's just say that- hey!"
Before he could finish his sentence he was grabbed and pulled
onto the dance floor before being twirled around by Sonya,
something he had not have considered could be done so easily.
However, he didn't really follow up on it and just watched them
as he merely tapped his foot to the rhythm and then moved it up
to clapping his hands along with basic movement from side to
side whenever the chorus came around. But apart from that he
didn't do much.
"Don't do that again, got it?" he asked Sonya with a sigh, "i
don't like being dragged around in that fashion."
The arrival of the orange hedgehog meanwhile snap his attention
away from the dancing as he kept an eye on him. Not because he
didn't trust the newcomer... but because it was something he was
conditioned to do given his profession.

While Rouge expected her friend to help, she was in fact
surprised by the Fennec twirling her on the dancefloor. It was
true that she hadn't danced like that in a while and hell, she
loved that! When James freed himself from the fennec she on the
other hand had another idea in mind. "So you like to dance?" She
asked Sonya and grabbed her by the waist and leaned the female
down. "You're not the only one who know how to. James you should
watch and learn." But then, an orange porcupine came to her to
awkwardly attempt to chat. She was still holding Sonya and
quickly realized that her friend would probably want to stand up
at some point. So she lifted her back up and released her. "Why
yes I am, and you are?"
Meanwhile at the bar, the skunk had disappeared and left the bar
unwatched. Only to reappear on the dancefloor with a different
costume. The spotlight shone on the Michael Jacksonesque
Dragqueen who was now singing. [font=comic sans ms]"Cuz this is
thriller!"[/font]

[i] Her expression ever the picture of apology, the fennec began
to stutter out.“Sorry James I didn’t mean-
eep!” She barely had time to collect her thoughts before
the room spun. Quick to put together what was happening, it
wasn’t long before relentless laughter was spilling from
her lips while she peered up at the white furred bat. “Why
am i not surprised?!” Her large ears filtering through the
music to pin point the words of the new arrival, the blonde
smoothed down the none existent creases in her white costume
after being propped by back on her feet, while turning her
attention towards the orange one, curious but open none the
less.

Shadow stepped into the building paying to get access, he is on
break from mission duties after completing all of his
assignments for now. Having nothing better to do he decided to
attend a halloween party hosted by his long time friend/co-
worker. His outfit of choice is a count dracula cape, and
donning white bandages on the left arm, he considered having
fake fangs in his mouth but deemed it unecessary.
Scanning the lively interior, its not what he expected, there
isnt a huge crowd spewing incoherent shouting, yelling
expletives or anything of the sort, a small group of people are
enjoying themselves on the dance floor, two of them he can
certainly recognize, from his perspective they are probably way
better at dancing than he is. "Hmph.." he smiled to himself and
approached a table to grab a beverage. He parked on a seat
watching the others, his foot tapped sutbly to the music.

The porcupine's face flusters slowly, as he notices all three of
the trio looking at him. He should have been prepared for this.
With the alcohol leaving him slightly buzzed, the orange one,
struggles to regain composure. Reck shifts his eyes away and
speaks. "I.. I'm sorry to interrupt... I'm Reck... You three
seemed to be having fun." He nervously scratches his cheek. "The
bar was nice, but I was kind of hoping to join you all. Not so
much in the dancing, just in company." The porcupine finds
himself distracted by Ny's costume change. "Quite the card, that
one..." Reck mumbles. He quickly looks back to the group once he
realizes how easily distractes he was, slightly embarassed.
He notices the hedgehog dressed as a vampire enter the bar
through the corner of his eye. This time he stays focused on the
trio. "So, uhhh..., do you all mind if I hang out?" Reck
scratches the back of his head. Although social situations make
him uncomfortable, tonight Reck was pushing himself.

"Don't apologize, just don't do it again," James said with a
slight sigh as he stopped dancing to observe the two girls dance
together. They sure got the rhythm and movement down, although
he didn't see himself doing that any time soon.
As Reck explained himself, James eventually nodded, "i don't
mind. Just as long as you behave. That's all i ask for."
Shadow's arrival didn't escape him either, although he was
delayed in noticing him. He did sorta recognize him as one of
Rouge's partners, so he paid him no mind.

[i]Picking up on the porcupines nerves the fennec shot the male
an encouraging smile as he spoke his piece. However also
clocking his mildly intoxicated state the doctor masked a smirk
by cupping a hand politely across her tanned muzzle. Large ears
flickering, she waited until Reck finished up before speaking
herself, removing her hand from her muzzle. “Of course we
don’t mind if you come and hang out with us, the more the
merrier!” Briefly taking note of the black hedgehogs
arrival from her peripheral vision the subtle tap of his foot in
time to the rhythm of the music certainly wasn’t lost on
her. Though she quickly returned her full focus to the orange
individual for the sake of proper introductions.
“I’m Sonya, and this is James[color=limegreen][b]
[b][gestures to James] and well you know who Rouge is..”
[Playfully loops an arm through her own.]
[color=limegreen]“It’s nice to meet you Reck!”
