Searching through the Crystals [Crystal Cave]

The red hedgehog that was carrying a bag on his back dashed
through the forest as he jumped from branch to branch, feeling
the wind going through his face and his coat waving along with
the wind's movement, while making sure that he was landing right
or else, he wouldn't have a nice landing. Toni had a smile on
his face as he knew that he was going towards his objective, a
cave known as Crystal Cave which have heard some rumors about
it, like for example, there was a chance of seeing a lightning
dragon going through the beautiful crystals that could be found
in. For him, any kind of rumor like that already sent shivers
through his spine as well as excitement, this kind of things
were what made him start to travel instead of staying on the
village that he lived in, which a part of him was glad that he
left due to what was happening, adding as well about the recent
events that have happened that affected it... Shaking his head,
he tried not to keep on that line of thinking, although by doing
that, he made a misstep and instead of going towards the next
tree, Toni's face was on the ground on the next second, feeling
the pain of such fall.
"Aauuch..." Toni mumbled annoyed as he raised his head, a little
frown was on his face. "This is what happens when I get
distracted when I shouldn't..." He said as he rubbed his face
with his hands and tried to stand up. After cleaning up the dust
and dirt of his face, and then, the rest of his clothes and
body, he looked forward and decided to just go by foot, one
landing like that alone was already good enough.
Toni keep advancing through the forest, trying to move and push
away the bushed while trying to have his face hit with the
trunks of the trees, until he could see a bit of an opening
inside the forest where the forest wasn't as much dense as when
he entered in some minutes ago, making something like a little
clearing, but there was something there that caught the
attention of the electric hedgehog, a part of the ground that
was above the ground with a cavity which had little crystals
that surround the entrance. This made Toni to have a large smile
on his face as he started to speed up the pace as he started to
run, having already an idea of what he has just found now.
"Yes, that has to be the Crystal Cave! I have finally found it!"
He thought aloud cheerfully as he got closer to the cavity,
admiring the transparent crystals that surround it, that thanks
to the sunlight that was reflect on them, it made them more
beautiful as they shine. This that could be some random
crystals, for Toni, these kind of things were experiences that
wanted to live and see, expecting to see stuff that he wouldn't
manage to witness in that secluded village. And this was just
the beginning as the insides of it were waiting for him. "That
lightning dragon... I'll see if that it's true or not!" Toni
said with confidence as he put his fist against the palm of his
other hand. But even so, in the back of his mind, there were
also the other kind of rumors that didn't seem so good as
strange sounds that were a bit out of place when you were deep
into the cave... Still, that would be something that he would
have to experience to understand it.

Unknown to the red hedgehog is someone else seeking the location
of Crystal Cave, rumors are surfacing all over the media,
constant chatter about the existence of an electrical dragon,
the cave's crystals possibly worth millions of rings. If this is
true then Ty is financially set for the rest of his life, paying
bills on time will be a piece of cake. Just because he fought in
the war against Eggman doesn't mean he is exempt from coughing
up money. The frosty canine mobian preferred to travel on the
ground through the forest, skating on thick spread sheet of ice
to guide him through. Sharp emerald eyes observing two
directions, the left and the right, they appear to have a lot in
common, both flaunting a lot of trees making it hard to tell
anything apart.
Its problematic to the point of being unsure he is on the right
path, why couldn't anyone put any signs around here in case
someone where to get lost? Ty mentally kicked himself for not
bringing a map with him during his journey.
[font=verdana]["Where is it?][/font] his ears and nose would
twitch on occasion, being forced to trust his natural instincts
to aid him, did Crystal Cave have a peculiar scent?
Thud!
Both ears perked up absorbing the noise, prompting Ty to stop
his movement to take a look around, is someone else here? Eyes
narrowed shifting slowly from left and right searching for the
culprit of the noise yet he could find nothing, it might have
been a critter out here minding its own business, still it
wouldn't hurt to check out for anyone who could hinder his goal.
Ty picked up his legs to run toward the source of the noise,
eventually his ear drums reacted to footsteps and rustling, he
briefly saw a mobian hedgehog confirming he isn't alone.
Naturally Ty followed suit going through the same motions as
they did, in his view the forest expanded the area revealing the
cave he is looking for and the hedgehog going inside.
"This is the place, the rumors are true.." he murmured with a
smile, he pulled out his phone to snap photos of the entrance,
once he finished the muscle bound mobian ventured forward inside
the entrance, gazing upon the illuminating crystals. Ty once
again snapped pictures on his phone just in case he needed
evidence to prove its existence. Afterwards he took a moment to
examine a single crystal, wondering about its density and
whether or not he can cut it to take some for himself. He forged
a pick axe made of ice and started stabbing on the crystals
surface. A few pieces fell down from the shiny exterior
prompting Ty to scoop them up and put them away.
"That should be enough to cover more than a years worth of
bills" he said. He looked ahead and saw an opening path going
further down the cave, by this point he lost the hedgehog due to
spending a lot of time collecting crystal shards, his curiosity
lead him to march forward, if he is lucky he may be able to run
into the electric dragon as well.

The rocky corridor was a bit narrow when Toni entered inside the
cave, but he still managed to keep moving without problem,
although the red hedgehog noticed a bit of a lack of crystals on
the way, unlike on the entrance, but he had been noticing little
holes on some parts of the ground and the walls, as if something
that had been there has been extracted. "Strange... These holes
don't really seem natural at all..." Toni said to himself as he
kept on moving forward while trying to get hit with the rocks on
the wall or trip with the ones of the ground, until he arrived
to a much more larger and open area, where he stretched his
limbs, finding enjoyment in feeling a bit of freedom after that
little narrow road. "Well, can say that I prefer not to be stuck
between two walls... I prefer to have a little freedom." Again,
he said to himself while rolling his shoulders, making him have
a doubt of his mind after what he said. "(All this talk to
myself... It's a sign of craziness?)" He couldn't help but think
that now, although he quickly throw that thought away, and look
around the open area of the cave.
There was a road in front of him that went on towards the deeper
sides of the cave, pretty smoth with some little sharp rocks,
while being surrounded by stalactites and stalagmites on the way
of different sizes, adding as well some rocky platforms that
were coming off the walls. Although what Toni find more
intriguing was that even though he was inside the cave, there
was still some light in it, as he could still see his
surroundings pretty well, and he would soon see why, as he saw
crystals like the ones that he saw on the entrance, although
they were quite small and, he was kinda expecting quite a more
beautiful scene as there weren't many from what he was seeing...
Taking some steps forward on the road, he approached to a pair
of little crystals, emitting out a weak light, which the
hedgehog couldn't help but to extend his arm and tried to touch
it with his hand, but when he came in contact with it,
electricity came out of his hand and went to the crystal. Toni
quickly stop touching as the electricity was still going around
the crystal, making to emit more light for a few seconds as the
electricity soon fade away alongside the extra light.
"Mmmm... When they get in contact with electricity, they make a
brighter light..." Toni muttered as he tried to understand what
happened. "They can't be here just for show... And surely an
electric dragon is the reason!" He said excited as he started to
walk fast through the road, trying not to step or hit the sharp
rocks. There was something else fishy about this cave, like when
he saw those strange little holes on thar narrow corridor on the
entrance, but the only way to know it is to figured out
everything on this place for him!
On the way, he also noticed other things like somekind of
reddish mushrooms and other crystals similar to the ones that he
had found and had recieved his electricity earlier, although he
couldn't help but ask himself, where that electric dragon could
be or if there were something else about the crystals on this
cave.

The muscular wolf stayed on the same path the red hedgehog is
threading through, unlike him Ty's goal to locate the mythical
dragon is more straightforward. its less likely he would be
doing any sight seeing. The environment does look beautiful
enough to spare a glance or two, especially the light casting a
bright hue over the crystals, the cave is littered with
stalagmites and its ceiling brother stalacites. The scenery is
starting to dim as Ty continues to press forward on the path,
the sound of electricity triggered a reaction in his ears. He
narrowed his eyes approaching the source of the noise, spotting
the red hedgehog again.
"Your looking for the dragon too arent you?" he calmly asked.
