The badger grunted and found him self skidding away a fair
distance away from the two, soon coming to a stop when felt his
back end hit one of the trees behind him. He simply huffed and
looked to where the hedgehog struck him, his right arm hanging
down loosely as his right arm was dislocated from its socket, an
even more noticeable black and blue bruise along his bicep.
Taking a deep breath he took hold of his arm, forcing it back
into place with a loud POP and carefully moved his arm about
before he began walking back to them. Given what Scourge had
said his patience was already gone at this point and he cared
little for anyone's safety now.
[font=courier]"She got in the way. She chose to fight me. She
made her choice. Now she pays in full... I only came here to
bring you back into Zone Cop custody... but now... I might just
have to bring you into the morgue after causing me this much
trouble... and that's nothing compared to what I'll do to her if
she jumps in the way again."[/font]
He went and stepped to the green hedgehog, refusing to back down
still. He simply narrowed his eyes at Scourge knowing fully that
he wasn't going to go quietly. Factoring his fennec lover he'd
have his hands full dealing with both her and him. Either way it
didn't matter to the honey badger. He simply wanted to get his
assignment done.

[i]Having no choice but to take the full impact of the honey
badgers attack head on, the teeny fox wasn’t prepared for the
amount of excruciating pain she felt next. Pain rippling
through her body her scream was raw. If not for a last minute
forcefield barrier to half the aftermath impact, Sonya about
ninety per cent sure that she would have broken the majority of
the bones in her body, after taking a direct with that amount of
force behind it. The barrier that she’d managed to smash into
flickering out of existence almost moments after, her landing on
the ground was a lot less vicious at least. Still it now
officially hurt to breathe, every bone in her body was screaming
at her to stay down, and the more logical side of her brain was
telling her that she had done all she could, she needed to let
Scourge handle this. But then .. laying there looking up at him
through her half lidded stare, she witnessed an astonishing
sight Scourge fighting back tears. The feel of his fingertips
running through her hair comfortingly her greatly, in that
moment she knew what she needed to do.
Pain continuing to stab through her, as she slowly rose from her
position, a new kind of anger surged through her. She wasn’t out
for the count yet, not while Scourge was still giving his all to
ensure her safety. What she could do in her state now was
probably limited but there was no she was going to sprawl out on
the side-lines. Straggling slightly, the small took a couple of
shaky steps, holding her side with one hand, and then knotting
her fingertips gently through the green hedgehogs with the
other. The expression she currently branded more hateful than
any expression she’d ever worn towards another before. “H-He
hasn’t done anything Scourge.. I’m fine, but for that he’s soon
not going to be.” Taking only a few moments to take comfort
from their brief embrace, Sonya gently ushered her lover behind
her, her words genuine.
“I’m sorry .. I couldn’t give you more time, I let you down..
but I’m not going to now, we’re in this …TOGETHER.” Her teeth
gnashing together in scarily similar fashion to her boyfriend,
she spoke directly to Lux. “I’m done with you threatening
Scourge! YOUR’RE NOT GOING TO TOUCH HIM!” Now fuelled by a
dangerous second wave of adrenaline, the scalpel she slit across
both her wrists felt more like a pinprick. The second her wounds
began to bleed out into the open, that’s when it happened.
Loosing all sense touch with herself, Sonya felt herself her
blood bending ability really take its full extent of control.
The feeling was almost euphoric. The second her wounds began to

dark crimson blood shot for the honey badger, aiming for his
shins, in attempt to throw him off.

Immediately he jumped out of the way and dashed towards one of
the trees behind them. Using his augmented strength he went and
clotheslined one of the trees beside him, sending it flying
towards her and Scourge. Out of everything he could of seen her
blood manipulation was NOT one of those things he would expect
from her. Twas something he wasn't shocked by as it was more of
a quiet disgust seeing her abilities being used. He'd probably
need to shower after this fight...
[font=courier]"Bloody hell, she's just like those albino dregs
from the Rakta Zone..."[/font]
He thought to himself seeing her powers for the first time.
Still he remained on task, needing to really buckle down this
time seeing that there was a lot more to her than making
barriers. He would have to increase the lethality level if he
wanted to deal with the both of them at the same time.

[i] This time round, it was her turn to spring instinctively to
her lovers rescue. Large fluffy ears flickering furiously, the
fennec smashed herself hard into Scourges side, taking them both
down into a roly poly tumble, just about in time for the two of
them to avoid being made into tree timber paste, but barely! god
dammit this badger was freakishly strong. Her adrenaline now
working overtime, as they came rolling to a stop, practically
nose to nose, she couldn’t help but try and inject some humour
into their rather disastrous situation. “Well .. this wasn't
quite how I imagined our first reunion in two months would go
but then i can't say you don't keep things interesting.."

Scourge's eyes grew wide as Sonya put the scalpel to her wrists.
"Sonya DON'T" He shouted as he tried desperately tried to snatch
the surgical instrument from her hands but she had already gone
ahead and cut herself. His eyes grew wide as Sonya's clean arms
were sullied by fresh cuts; It made Scourge's stomach churn
after all her progress this animal had undone everything in a
mere moment. While he was lost in his own mind about Sonya's
well being he was caught off guard by the next attack that
luckily Sonya has pushed him out of the way of. A joke in the
face of a dire situation surely a trait she picked up from
Sonic, ignoring her poorly timed jest Scourge was beyond pissed
off at all the progress that was being undone. With this
electrifying energy finally built up he would be unstoppable so
it was time this bounty hunter felt his wrath.
Dropping onto all fours getting into a starting position Scourge
took off utterly annihilating the sound barrier before he became
totally invisible to the naked eye as he shot off over the
horizon tearing up the pavement beneath his feet. His black
boots started to smoke as he circled back to his enemy holding a
green thunderbolt in his hand that he hurled towards the badger.
Whether it would hit it's mark or not didn't matter as Scourge
unleashed a savage spin dash that was nothing like the half
hearted effort Sonic usually gave the green menace was intending
to saw this towering monster in two. The question was how would
the badger avoid something he couldn't see as the green
hedgehog's speed had been increased to insane levels after his
charge up.

Instinctively Lux had gone and switched from offense to defense,
the muscles on his torso bulking up as he braced himself and
took the hedgehog's attack head on. He felt himself being forced
several feet, looking at the hedgehog that had charged into his
abdomen. He groaned quietly, surprised that the hedgehog managed
to pack a punch like that and knock him back a good distance
away. The honey badger wouldn't back down though, looking at
Scourge with deathly eyes.
[font=courier]".... You are VERY persistent... I'll at least
give you that much [color=red]outzoner!"[/font][/color]
Letting the pressure of the hedgehog's attack go through for a
brief moment he sucked in his abdomen before flexing his
abdominal muscles and slingshotting the hedgehog away from him
by turning his momentum against him. Taking that small moment to
breathe he placed his hand along where Scourge had struck him.
That speed of his was definitely going to be a troublesome
affair with the fight persisting as it did. Even more so with
that fennec using her outlandish abilities as she did.
[font=courier]"Just how long do you plan on defending this
convict, child?... Tell me... what exactly would compel you to
protect this criminal? Who's done nothing but invite catastrophe
and disaster onto this zone since he broke free from his prison
cell? Why risk your life this one?"[/font]
He figured he would get an obvious from her but he was genuinely
curious as to why she would go so far. From the sound of it
there was a bit more to him simply bringing the hedgehog in than
a simple price placed on his head. Whatever the case, he waited
for an answer to be given.

Being sent crashing through a tree the breaking bark splintered
apart apart as Scourge hit the ground. He struggled to stand as
he picked the shards and splinters out of his skin. He looked at
the towering foe then the sorry state his girlfriend was in and
while he was sure he could kill this enemy given enough time to
Scourge it wasn't worth putting Sonya in harms way. "This fight
will have to wait, it's not worth putting her in danger just to
settle this. That's the whole reason I went on an enemy hunt was
to ensure her safety." He thought to himself before he dusted
off his jacket and pulled bandages out of his jacket carefully
wrapping her wounds.
"While I appreciate the effort we're leaving. Dealing with this
jackass isn't worth seeing you hurt. Besides it's not like the
lumbering oaf could follow us anyway." Before she could even
object Scourge swept the doctor off her feet and vanished
without a trace only leaving a trail of flames and broken trees
in his path. At this point Scourge would be impossible to track
as he was moving like the wind fast and free.

He growled quietly watching him speed off into the distance with
the fennec in hand. As much as he really didn't want to admit
the badger had neared his overclocking limit and decided to try
another day, power down and shutting his kinetic amp off. An odd
mess of steam soon escaped his body as he stood there. Without
much warning he suddenly regurgitated a mess of blood from is
mouth, watching it spill onto the floor before trying to compose
himself. The whole ordeal, while not noticeable at first, left
him heavily damaged from the inside and out. At this point he'd
need to wait things out again and plan out when and how he would
deal with both Scourge and Sonya. For now though.... it was time
to head back home to Tenebris.
[font=courier]"This isn't over [color=red]outzoner... you've
done far worse outside this zone than you could even possibly
imagine..."[/font][/color]
Taking out an odd silver warp ring he dropped it onto the patch
of ground behind him. The ring itself expanding into a large
violet portal before the badger began making his way back
through. There would be a lot of planning needed to manage how
he would keep the two apart long enough for him to take Scourge
in. Lux would need a lot more than what he has already.
[font=courier]"... I think i might actually need some help with
this now..."[/font]
With that he made his way back through, leaving no remnants
behind except for a mess of fallen trees and blood being
spilled. He'd be back soon enough. Lux only needed time to get
things ready.
