Over the years Sonic had various arguments with his little
brother, doctor and biggest fan that he's far too impatient;
they often argued his short fuse and lack of patience with
slower things made him hard to deal with. Finally fed up with
all their criticism Sonic had decided to broaden their horizons
by giving them a look at the world as he saw it, a colorful blur
where nothing was ever too far away. He was preforming stretches
as he raised his arms and pushed the tips of his sneakers up
while he stood on his toes. The blue hedgehog wore a brown
harness with a bulky steel box secured to it featuring a control
console covered in blinking lights and a small tesla coil. The
blue hedgehog turned the dial watching the device fire up as the
core of it whirred to life; Sonic turned giving Tails a thumbs
up before addressing his little brother. "She's purring like a
kitten lil bro. Let's hope this harness you made can channel my
energy through these tethers."
Soon Sonic pointed towards the two foxes and the pink hedgehog
with a determined glint in his eye. "I suppose you're all
wondering why I've gathered you here. The lot of you over the
years have not stopped bitching about me being too Gung-ho and
impatient. Instead of arguing with you lot I'm going to give you
all a taste of how I see the world. These tethers Tails created
will channel my energy into you so you can trail behind me. I
mean at one point I've picked each of you up and ran with you
but that was nowhere near my top speed. If I carried you guys
above mach five you'd likely pass out or even die going above
that. With my energy coursing through you these speeds will seem
trivial and you'll be safe from any speed related damage." With
that said Sonic slammed the button in the center of his chest
piece as lightning shot through his eyes before erupting wildly
off his person causing stray static to hug his electrical aura.
"This is a one time deal so don't get too used to it. Now brace
yourselves, strap in and taste the lightning."
Sonic's speed was his pride and joy and to share it this openly
if only briefly with these three showed just how highly Sonic
thought of them. Sonic dropped onto all fours getting into a
starting position as he pressed the tips of his sneakers against
the ground as before he pressed himself up with his fingertips.
Giving a smirk of sheer arrogance he looked ahead across the
endless green field they had met in as Sonic's kinetic energy
traveled down the tethers into the two foxes and pink hedgehog.
This energy surged through their entire system super charging
all their senses dialing everything up to one hundred as the
electrical vibes assaulted their nervous systems; Sonic's brand
of power would then send an overwhelming feeling through their
bodies while all their pupils surged with pink,orange and tan
lightning. This feeling was so positively charged it erased all
doubts instilling a feeling as if they could do anything. Giving
them a moment to adjust to the kinetic energy he'd cultivated
his entire life through blood,sweat and tears Sonic looked on
ahead before belting out.
"When you're ready just say GO!"
