Shadow remained in ball form to cushion the knock back, he
expected her to put up a fight to save her skin, its a fool's
dream to think this battle will be over so quickly. He sprung
back on his feet to witness the empress walking towards the
pair, each stride represented a sign they are both going to die,
an untrained mortal will run away in fear of her presence, who
could blame them? Waiting for their opponent to edge closer
Shadow attempted to lash out a punch with no success. "What?"
Blaze vanished before his eyes, moving around in a similar style
to teleportation, resembling flames and explosions in
aesthetics.
The pair are being forced to believe in the illusion she is
going to attack them, and there is little they can do to stop
her, all they can do is hope she will cease her trickery,
eventually she stopped however they aren't out of the woods yet.
Blaze snapped her fingers to assimilate the stationed explosions
together into a massive fireball of death, the technique
exploded into a shower of flames threatening to burn them into
ashes. Shadow zoomed left and right, strafing into cartwheels
and back flips to dodge, he couldn't evade forever as one stray
fireball struck the hedgehog in the back, the explosion spiraled
him into the air, slamming the surface shortly after.
He remained on the ground semi conscious, smoke steaming out of
his fur, first degree burns visible on the muzzle, any other
burns on his body are concealed due to natural color
pigmentation. Shadow lifted his body using both arms to support
his weight, he stood back up giving the feline a harsh glare,
the ultimate lifeform has plenty of fight left in him! Kicking
his shoes into high gear he dashed towards Empress, attempting
to retaliate using a string of punches and roundhouse kicks

The uppercut landed squarely on Blaze's jaw. It's shocking force
sent her head back and upward with loud 'boom!' that filled the
battlefield. The wolf even seemed to stun her a bit as the
electricity coursed over her form in a series of violent
crackles. All in all, It was a satisfyingly sound hit. Yet,
after a moment... Viera would hear a giggle? Yes. It was a
giggle. A giggle that turned into a mad cackle as the cat
lowered her jaw to reveal her sharp, monstrous grin and the
blood pooling in the corner's of her mouth.

"Return the favor? You don't even begin to compare."
What followed next was a fantastic waltz of fists as both Shadow
and Viera tried to strike the Empress. She weaved in and out of
range of both assault fronts with an almost effortless level of
grace as both heroes desperately tried to attack this fiery
villain. As the hedgehog reeled back to slam a roundhouse into
her she returned the favor with a roundhouse of her own creating
yet another explosion of force as the two titans met in a deadly
clash.
"Yes! Give me everything! It'll make your fall all the more
thrilling!" The Hellfire Goddess called out as she sprung
backward with a flip. As soon as she was in the air, she coated
her body in the flames of disaster once more. With a harrowing
screech: the cat cut through the air in a burning dive kick
toward the wolf. Scorching afterimages trailed behind the cat as
she attempted to slam her heel into the face of the interloper.

When Veira's hit connected, a smirk appeared on her face as the
cat received a small stun. That was all she needed to succeed
with her wave of attacks. However something stopped her from
attacking. A giggle....a girly giggle that was soon replaced
with mad laughter. When Blaze lowered her head and showed the
dark grin, a small chill went down her spine. When she claimed
that Veira's power was no way near her level, a spark of
lightning swirled around the huntress.
Both her and Shadow tried combining their attack speed to hit
the fire cat but they were simply fighting the wind. Veira
growled annoyed as she jumped back just in time as Shadow and
Blaze collide their kicks causing a shockwave. Within that
moment, Blaze had leaped into the air and began her dive bomb
towards Veira. Not waiting for the fire feline to reach her,
Veira's body was soon engulfed with lightning as she leaped up
planning to kick Blaze straight in the face. No doubt these two
attacks was going to hurt...one way or the other for someone.
" We'll have to see about that princess." she shouted.

The good news is the heroes are finally making progress, Veira
managed to a successful blow against their feline foe, the bad
news is Blaze treating the whole thing like a game, revealing
her crazy exterior partaking in maniacal laughter. The bad news
doesn't stop there, she is much faster than before, being able
to evade all of their blows without breaking a sweat, she even
counter Shadow's attack with a similar strike of her own
creating yet another clash. The brooding individual back flipped
a fair distance to watch her power up into flames diving
straight for his ally.
"This fight is going nowhere, its obvious she is not a pushover"
he murmured, irritated this battle dragged on longeer than he
expected. He couldn't understand why he is having a difficult
time landing a punch if his speed and reflexes supposedly rival
the fastest thing alive, none of it makes any sense. He is
mentally debating whether or not he should access his chaos
powers to help turn the tables, they were dormant for an entire
month, ready to be used again for Eggman's eventual return, at
this rate he may have to unleash his power earlier than
intended.
He leaped into the air curling into a ball, he dashed towards
Blaze hoping to provide Veira backup using another Spin Attack.

Both kicks met in yet another vicious impact to create a storm
of fire and lightning as the two beings let their wills clash.
The Empress seemed quite content to let Viera challenge her
fiery wrath with her pitiful light show. She didn't seem
concerned at all. In fact, she was having the time of her life.
"Is this really your best? You wield your power like a child
desperately trying not to get consumed by the storm! Meanwhile I
mastered the flames when I was but a babe!" She shouted,
breaking off the clash with another backflip.
Little did she know, that she would be within range of the the
hedgehog's furious counterattack as he once more preformed his
homing attack on her. The impact struck true: causing the cat to
yelp in alarm before being knocked to the ground like before as
his quills dug into her like a buzzsaw. The two's crash landing
created yet another explosion of dust as they hit the Earth
below.
Yet... As the smoke cleared, she stood, holding the spinning
ball of hedgehog in place with a chrome plated mechanical arm.
She gnashed her teeth in a furious growl. Her cape was torn,
her uniform was covered in dirt, and her ponytail had been
undone to make her look as wild on the outside as she was on the
inside. She pushed Shadow back before he could cause any more
damage as she outstretched both arms and let her body ignite
with a massive wall of fire as she drew more and more of her
wells of furious strength.
"I was raised in the fires of war! This arm is a grotesque
reminder of my failure...But through failure my will is forged
anew! I am stronger than ever. So you two rats better be kissing
the ground at my feet before it's glassed!" She roared, her aura
condensing and expanding over and over as her eyes began to glow
with an ominous, burning hatred, The air began to heat up to
nearly unbearable levels as she kept drawing in more and more
heat and energy. She was preparing something big.

When the two kicks connected, Veira felt the flames of her foe
as well as her own lightning swirl round them before breaking
off to a safe distant. The way Blaze talked about her power and
how Veira used her so poorly really got to her. She stood there
with bared fangs as she began to charge lightning through her
body. She was trying to reduce her power to not kill this
feline. She knew full well if her powers went wild a lot more
damage would be done. Maybe that's what the empress wanted. For
Veira to go all out and not hold back.
She lowered her head a bit unsure if she should go through with
it. She glanced to Shadow who managed to land his hit after
Veira and Blaze broke away from one another. After impacting the
ground and the dust cleared, Veira's eyes locked onto the metal
arm that held Shadow. All this time Veira wondered why Blaze
never used the other hand. She really has been toying with them.
After tossing Shadow, Blaze began to charge more energy than
before. Veira could tell this was going to be a big one. That
was it right there. No more playing around. She wanted a
challenge well Veira was going to give it. Her body started to
charge with lightning like before but instead of its normal blue
color, it began to swirl and change color to that of her own fur
color.
The very sky began to swirl as Veira's body was struck with
lightning from the sky above. Her entire body engulfed in light
she then got in a dash like stance before breaking into a bursts
of light speed planning on collided with the empress at a
dangerous level of lightning. Every part of her body was
screaming as she felt the effects of lightning.
" You want to see my true power well here it is up close
princess!" she shouted as she drew close to her target.

Shadow spun backwards towards the ground, he laid still on the
surface gazing at the sky before standing up once more, he half
expected his attack to not work being aware of her irritating
reflexes, its satisfying to know it left quite an impact,
affecting both her pride and her appearance. His sharp eyes
enlarged focusing on her cybernetic arm, an appendage hidden
from plain sight until now, the ultimate lifeform began to feel
cold, realizing he was nothing but child play to Empress. Shadow
narrowed his eyes too frustrated off to utter a word.
He witnessed her reveal her true strength engulfing herself in
raging fire, the atmosphere begin to change, gone are the rich
watery moisture, a strong sensation of heat gloomed in its
place, the real fight is about to begin. Shadow clenched both
hands knowing he has little options left if he wants to survive.
At anytime his only lead to the doctor's location will cease to
exist "You aren't the only one holding back!" He spread both
arms and bending both knees, eyes glaring at Blaze determined to
defeat her, no more playing around.
"I suppressed my power for a month in preparation for Eggman's
return, I didn't want to unleash it here but you leave me no
choice!" the black hedgehog closed his eyes to build
concentration, a yellow aura outlined the body, radiating chaos
energy but not quite fierce. He opened his eyes as the aura
expanded to resemble its unstable predecessor, a big change
regarding this power up is the user no longer suffers from
stamina draining. He raised a hand to gather chaos energy into a
single point [glow=yellow,2,300]"Chaos.....SPEAR!"[/glow] he
flung the arrow shaped projectile at their target.

A maniacal cackle escaped the hellfire Goddess' lips as she
lowered her hands to her sides as her eyes got engulfed
completely in that white hot glow. She cracked a Cheshire grin
as she slowly outstretched her hands and almost gave a sort of
bow.
"Ashes. To. Ashes."
Shadow, in that moment just as he fired his golden spear, would
have been able to recognize easily what the Empress was doing.
The amount of power she drew in, her focused stance, her casual
disregard for the oncoming attacks, it would be all too similar
to his own devastating attack: The Chaos Blast. She intended to
wipe out this entire area with one ground splitting explosion.
As she watched both the wolf and the spear hurtle towards her
she'd throw her hands out wide and let out a vicious roar.
This roar only seemed to grow into a fearsome bellow as her body
suddenly exploded in a dome of burning energy that steadily grew
and grew. The spear collided with the shell of immolating flames
but it only seemed to hold it back momentarily, It was a split
second that might have saved them both however because after the
charged inferno overpowered the chaos energy it would begin to
rapidly explode outward with enough force to rip chunks of the
Earth off and into the air. If they didn't somehow try to avoid
this blast they'd surely be caught in it.
In the core of this deadly star that threatened to consume them
was the sillhoute of the mad Empress laughing with a glee that
seemed nearly child like she was that overjoyed. Even if the
rats somehow avoided this or survived it, the sheer amount of
raw destruction she wrought caused her tail to curl up in bliss.

The ultimate lifeform watched his attack merged and swallowed
whole by the Empress' dome expanding inferno behaving very much
like his equivalent made of chaos energy. He teleported away to
a reasonable distance from the attack, he barely survived
getting his spiny vessel burned into a darker pigmentation, no
way in hell he will let it happen again. A sharp sensation ran
through his veins, external injuries from her earlier attack
catching up with him. pearly white fangs held together
preventing the hedgehog from biting his tongue.
He resisted the urge to slump to a single knee, there is no time
to gravel in pain, not when time is of the essence. Shadow
scrunched the bridge of his eyes, he teleported in front of
Blaze attempting to plant his metallic footwear unto the face of
this fiendish woman. He didn't care if she is having the time of
her life, he couldn't accept this poison of laughter is made of
the same vocal cords as the person he acquainted with in the sol
dimension.

Veira wasn't prepared for this type of attack to happen. She was
already set on charging straight at the hellcat intent on
knocking her out, intent on stopping her. However within that
thought pattern, she had already lost focus and charged in
blindly to an attack that was more than likely a devastating
blast. As soon as Blaze let out her roar, a huge fire blast
engulfed the area.
Veira's path was completely thrown off course as she tried to
dig her feet into the ground after stabbing her sword into it to
try and turn back. When her back turned to the blast, the heat
tempature rose quickly burning the huntress back as she let out
a howling pain before flying across the field and faceplanting
onto the ground. Her back burned from the blast as she gritted
her teeth trying to stand back up.
Her coat now ruined was tossed aside as she gripped her sword
again. Her breathing was heavy as the burning continued. Lucky
her that was all she got from the attack. Listen to the hellcat
laugh like that really put Veira on edge.
" What is her deal?..." she muttered to herself.
