A sneer grew on Shadow's muzzle, he suspected his faker is
already itching to fight the second he clamped his boots in this
household "Tch.." he clenched both fist, putting them up in a
defensive stance watching Sonic rev up speed. Before the two
exchange blows, the whole scenery became a void of darkness
catching the black hedgehog off guard. "What th- Oof!" his body
slammed the floor from a tackle and held in place by someone.
Assuming its Sonic, the ultimate lifeform would shift his body
backward to flip his annoying blue rival behind him, springing
on his feet.
"Fool! Don't you care about the fate of the world? Quit wasting
time and turn yourself in!" he remained idle to brace himself
for another attack, until his ears absorbed the sound of a
familiar voice who knocked on the door. "Amy?" thank chaos she
is here, perhaps she can get this blue bastard to listen to her
instead.

As the group of people argued, Amy pounded on the door, and
bullets shot through glass, a strange sensation of pressure
would fill the darkened room. It was a sensation Shadow would be
all too familiar with. The feeling of heat boiling and swelling
to one focal point. The smell of the air burning. The sensation
of ripple of force pinging throughout the immediate area. It was
the only signifierfor the absolute terror that was to make
it'self known. In one brilliant flash, an explosion of fiery
light would rip through the room, ripping away the darkness to
reveal...
Her.

Standing before everyone was the visage of what should have been
a reassuring sight of a friend. What stood instead was the
terrifying reflection. Blaze the Cat, the leader of the Sol
Empire, burned with a violent light. While she was a spitting
image of the princess it was evident in her stance alone that
she was in a league all of her own. The warrior goddess stood
with the pressure of hundreds of victories from hard fought
battles booming around her and when she opened her eyes the
sharpness of a killer could be felt in her fierce stare.
This wasn't the same Blaze that they had known. No, this was a
threat all of her own.
She turned her gaze to Shadow zeroing in on him first as she
took one step. "It was kind of you to lead me here, but I'm
going to need you to stand down." She reached out, pointing her
cybernetic finger toward Sonic. "You. You are the only way I'll
be able to face the coward that set up this foolish game.
Without you, I can't ash her nor can I glass her fortress for
her foolishness!" She snarled, her aura burning brighter and
brighter, charring the carpet beneath her feet.
"So are you coming with me? We have little time and my desire
for blood and justice only increases!"

Thank chaos the darkness dissipated, returning Shadow's
eyesight, however chaos isn't kind enough to drive away a bad
feeling if his spines hardened up is any indication. Blaze's
older counterpart arrived in the household leaving Shadow to
wonder if he should prepare for an inevitable battle that will
leave everyone sizzled or pause to encrypt her motives for being
here. The latter payed off as it turns out she is harboring a
very similar goal of justice. He gave the empress a silent
deadpan as retailition for telling him to stand down, he would
rather take orders from a bucket of water than listen to this
crazy woman.
"Save your breath, he is already secured" taking note of Sonic's
pecular handcuffs. Where did those come from and who did it? He
didnt care, saves him the trouble of detaining Sonic himself,
the black hedgehog apporached the front door to allow Amy
inside.

It was at this point that a lynx showed up, Ajax specifically;
turns out, loud gunshots and fireballs were easy to notice. He
ran to the scene, rifle strapped and slung over his back, until
he stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of the scene before
him, seeing it all from behind Amy as Shadow opened the door.
"...Why did I get up this morning?.." he mumbled to himself, not
sure what to think of it all; there were three hedgehogs of
different colors, one in some really out of place cuffs, two
felines, and presumably someone else in the distance since none
of them seemed to be holding a powerful enough gun to make the
thunderous boom he heard.
"Okay, I'm just gonna say this right now; what in the pragaras
is going on?.." Evidently he had not seen or heard any of the
broadcast, and was completely oblivious as to their incentive to
capture the blue hedgehog. As far as he knew, this was some
weird game of theirs, only involving guns and fireballs.

When the darkness dissipated with a brilliant flash Sonic closed
his eyes for a moment to allow them to adjust to the light only
to open them again to spot the flaming visage of the royal
feline. Sonic grumbled something to himself not liking being
shown up in the slightest especially with flashy entrances. "The
entrance was cool I'll give you that but the arm looks like a
prop from some budget sci-fi film." After making a comical crack
he noted everybody who had shown up and seemed to be puzzled as
Sonic himself wasn't made aware of the broadcast. He looked
around to the figures in the room from Shadow then over to
Kaibette, the flaming cat gave him great pause and he couldn't
help but wonder why Amy was here and who the soldier was next to
her. A part of him wanted to ask Amy what was happening after
all she was the only one he trusted enough in this current
situation but after being attacked and shot at Sonic was on
edge.
Sonic had no ideas who his allies were in this situation as Amy
seemed to be in league with Shadow and he'd only just deduced
these questionable cuffs belonged to Kaibette. Sonic sped up the
vibrations of his body causing the cuffs to phase through his
being and hit the floor with a loud chink. Carefully wringing
his wrists before adjusting the cuffs of his gloves he donned a
smug smirk as if the room full of people after his head was
nothing but a walk in the park. "An evening of anime with a
friend suddenly turns into an all out clusterfuck." He pushed
past the others causally heading towards the balcony before
leaning against the railing. "So I have no idea why the lot of
you have been hitting up the mental pills but this party is
getting too crazy so Sonic out!" With that he fell backwards
with a confident smirk sliding over the railing; he flicked them
a two figured salute while he causally threw himself over the
balcony. Not even a second later a loud echoing sound
reverberated throughout the apartment complex as the sound
barrier had been utterly annihilated when the blue hedgehog
bolted off. Now several streets away Sonic took a moment to
gather his thoughts as he drifted throughout the city around
tight turns and swinging in signposts.
"What's gotten into everybody!? First a shooter, then Shadow,
Kai turns on me just when I was getting through to her then the
rest of these loon bags show up. I've got to find Tails, he'll
know whats going on." After finishing his thought Sonic skidded
to a stop in a rundown back-ally to stay out of sight. Leaning
against a dumpster he pulled back the cuff of his glove and
begun to scroll through the contacts on his wrist mounted
communicator. "Come on Tails....pick up bro." Sonic said
anxiously looking around worried the others would show up any
moment.

Petrov just remained silent as he looked over the whole thing
was playing out. The rodent evaded his shot, which was
inconsiderate, but then everything went crazy and he wasn't able
to fire a second shot. Once Sonic did reveal himself again,
Petrov tried to fire, but didn't get to take the shot before the
hedgehog let himself fall off the balcony. This first confused
the tiger, but the sudden sonic boom made it obvious he wasn't
dead. But now he was gone... for now at least.
Quickly packing up his position he set about to give chase, even
if Sonic could be anywhere. He had three days, he'd get him, it
was only a matter of time. Furthermore, any kind of head-start
he could get would be a benefit against the others. Most of the
appeared to be superpowered in some way. So he needed every
possible advantage.

When the explosion happened and the door opened, Amy was a bit
stunned at seeing so many people here. 'Great, this was a total
cluster funk. What was going on? Who were most of these people?
Bounty hunters no doubt. Scum of Mobius.' She recognized Blaze,
but this person before her was not the Blaze she knew, and her
instincts were telling her to avoid this person. She ignored the
orangy brown mobian beside her and went to the only person she
truly knew and grabbed his hand. "Shadow, come with me now!" she
said hurriedly, pulling him out of the apartment. She didn't
trust anyone in the facility except the hedgehog she loved.
Amy picked her speed as she ran, knowing well that Shadow could
not only match but exceed it easily, she needed to be away from
the others so they didn't overhear her. Once she stopped she
waited a moment when it felt right to talk and then turned to
Shadow once she sensed that no one else was around. "Shadow, you
saw the broadcast, right? That was why you were at that
apartment. We need to help them. We need to help Sonic and
Tails. Where Sonic is, Tails will be right behind him." She said
instinctively and then covered the hand she held with her other
one as she looked the black hedgehog in the eye. "Shadow, I
cannot catch Sonic, I was never fast enough. But I can always
find him, no matter how far away he is or how fast he can run I
can always find him. And you are just as fast as he is, possibly
faster. Please." She begged. "Please help me save them and save
Mobius once more." she knew she could count on Shadow to do the
right thing.

Shortly after Sonic made his call to Tails, the fox would
answer, and almost right away began blurting out questions of
his own, but after finishing his questions he'd pause to give
his friend time to speak what he needed to as well as answer. By
the sound of it, things seemed to be a bit chaotic on the fox's
end as well.

From the ally, footsteps were heard and by the corner, a shadow
of a familiar figure was casting on it. This figure showed a
hedgehog that had two upright quills similar to a familiar
hedgehog, but as the figure drew near it showed not a black
hedgehog but a cyan one. Out from the corner, the cyan hedgehog
Soul came "Oh thank goodness I found ya..." he said as he huffed
with exhaustion, he took a moment to catch his breath. Upon
noticing the hedgehog's reaction he must be alarmed and anxious
about what's happening and so he approached him gently. "Easy
there...You look like you just saw a ghost or something" he said
with a grin before looking with a serious face. "Sorry I came
"out of the blue" but we have a problem a rather big one...Did
ya hear the news? Some chick just put a bounty over you and
Tails, and if no one brings both of you in three days, she's
gonna bombard the moon and kill Mobius..." he muttered. "Don't
worry I didn't come here to capture ya..." he said hopefully to
convince the blue blur himself that he was on his side.

Hearing Tails voice set Sonic at ease as he breathed a sigh of
relief. "Tails!? am I glad to hear you. Safe isn't the word I
would use....Shadow tried blowing my head off with a high
powered rifle, my new friend just tried to turn me in and a
crazy flaming cat just set an apartment complex on Fire......."
Sonic paused looking at the raging flames growing before getting
back to Tails. "You've got Sonya and the Tornado? It'll be good
to have both looks like we're outmatched bro and I have no idea
why the city has suddenly turned on me. Look I've got somethings
to take care of but I'll meet you at Castle Acorn when I'm
done." With a click Sonic hung up before returning his attention
to the burning building.
"If left unchecked those flames will take out the whole city
block and leave Kai homeless, I can't do that to her not after I
know how bad it felt loosing my home to arson." Getting ready to
run back into the fray Sonic gave pause when the other hedgehog
emerged behind him. At first on edge he lowered his guard due to
Soul's slow approach as he got closer he noticed him from war
effort against Robotnik. "Finally a friendly face." He listened
well to the abridged response the cyan hedgehog gave and nodded
his head with a goofy grin. "Figures, it wouldn't be a regular
week unless somebody was trying to kill me." Before too long he
pointed towards the apartment complex that was smoking. "Look I
have to take care of those flames before they hurt anybody but
I'll be running right back into a whole mess of trouble. I know
this is a lot to ask but I know you can handle it. Can you keep
those guys off me while I put out those flames? I don't have
time for an answer so I'll just assume it's the one I want to
hear." With that the hedgehog blasted off shaking the
ground,shattering nearby windows into tiny shards and leaving a
flaming trail in his wake. He grabbed onto a sign post that and
spun around it allowing him to turn tighter at these insane
speeds before launching himself back towards the building all
his pursuers waited in. He started to circle around the building
rapidly several hundred times a second until the velocity he
created started to whirl upwards creating a whirlwind that
engulfed the entire building; Sonic was hoping his whirlwind
would blow out the flames while depriving them of the oxygen
they needed to continue burning.
Those inside would be trapped unless they could somehow rise to
the top of the vortex and land safely but for those few who made
it out that's what Sonic had asked Soul to assist with.
