Lazy Days and Flirtatious Ways.

[i]A typical Sunday as it were, which had started out peacefully
enough, with her and the blue furred hero linking up for their
weekly hang out, between snacks, drinks, and a whole of cuddling
that went slightly beyond friendly territory, but then after
their rather unexpected escalations at the carnival the night
before who could really blame them? To be fair Sonya had
expected more awkwardness for the morning after, but Sonic had
been the same as always. Complaining about how she took forever
to answer the door, and then they’d traded playful
insults, then briefly cuddled.. and then there was that weirdly
intense feeling between them, so they opted for eventually
getting off her door step, and onto their usual Sunday routine,
some normality from the world wind that their date left behind.
Not wanting to make a big deal of how she looked, because she
never did on a Sunday she hadn’t bothered to get dressed!
Granted she was dressed in slightly more fetching pjs than
usual.. a plum purple silk short night dress that donned black
lace trimming round the edges, instead of her go to anime PJ top
and shorts. Still that didn’t mean anything she was simply
treating herself, that’s what she’d been trying to
reassure herself with. Her hair long since lost of it’s
waterfall braid was now styled and twisted into a casual yet
stylish bun, with soft strands of hair that fell prettily from
the bun framing either side of her delicate face, she had to
admit she felt.. good. Completing the look with a much more
neutral shade of peach lip gloss, she was set.
Everything had been going smoothly .. until their routine
bickering over what to watch on TV had come around, with her
wanting to binge watch the new anime channel, and him wanting to
watch some show involving race cars and shouty presenters, she
was currently trying to stretch her fingertips for the remote
that the blue blur held mercilessly out of her reach.
“Aw.. come on don’t be dumb, your car shows waste my
life span!” Sure she was half joking but time really did
feel like it dragged more when she gave into hours of watching
pointless sport on a track.“BLUE! please-“ An idea
suddenly coming to mind the teeny fennec adjusted her attitude,
sounding less whiny .. and more coquettish, as she fluttered her
long lashes at him, her fingertips softly caressing his chest
all the while. “Please Sonic.. “

Sonic easily flaunted his physical superiority and height over
the small fox as he held the remote beyond her reach with a smug
grin as he watched the speed machines lap the gravel circuit. He
rolled his eyes when she said racing was a waste of time and
responded by shaking his head. "And like you're anime is much
better? Sonya we're real life heroes this crap bores me. When I
fight a bad guy I don't stand there explaining lore for twenty
minuets." Glaceing out of the corner of his eye he noticed the
flutter of her lovely lashes leading him to admire her petite
form; as if Sonya hadn't been enough of a tease having her hair
up made Sonic see her like a present waiting to be unwrapped.
The hedgehog closed his mouth after a moment of staring with his
jaw agape. When she ran her hand across his well defined chest
he melted in her fingers and passed her the remote clearing his
throat at the same time. Whenever Sonya did this he become
flustered and found it hard to keep his cool; he turned a bright
red while his eyes darted around alarmed at the amount of Sonya
had over him.

[i] Masking her surprise of how easy her retrieval of the TV
was, Sonya fought off a smug grin. There was something so
delicious about seeing her friend get all un characteristically
worked up. Sonic hardly being the type to loose his ‘cool’
persona after all, and so whenever she brought out this side of
him, she was much more prone to her more secretive minx side of
things. Feeling him unravel under her fingertips sent her on a
miniature power trip that she intended to hold onto for a little
while longer. The remote now back on her hand, she made sure to
keep her other hand splayed and softly caressing his chest, in
the most casual of manners, pretending to be completely
oblivious as to why her usually cool and collected friend had
now turned the coloured of a ripe cherry tomato.
Head tilting, she peered up at him, noticing that he was now
doing his best to look anywhere but directly at her. “Firstly..
anime is tons better than car racing trash, that’s a fact we may
we real life heros but that’s stressful and scarring at least
with anime it’s a fluent loss of touch with reality.. there’s so
much that doesn’t need to be thought about, and hardly anyone
dies.” “Secondly.. are you okay? You look .. hm .. really red..”
Placing the TV remote back on top of the of the TV, she pretty
fennec stretched up onto her tiptoes, lightly pressing her silk
encased body against his own in the process, both her hands
lightly cupping his face, so that he’d have to look into her
blue orbs directly, tilting his face downwards, she made sure
they were close enough that he’d no doubt be wondering what her
freshly coated glossed lips would taste like on his tongue but
she also made sure to keep enough distance so that the situation
still seemed ‘platonic’ enough.

When Sonya started to play doctor examining his features and
questioning his red color he only turned an even brighter shade
of red. Looking into her big blue eyes his own trailed down to
her glossy lips before he licked his own. Sonya was quite the
tease and she managed to make the blue hedgehog feel things he
never had before; she could shake his confidence like it was a
bottle of soda causing it to bubble away at her command. Finally
becoming far too flustered he fell backwards before curling
tightly into a ball sitting stationary on the lounge. Curled up
like this Sonya wouldn't be able to read facial features and use
that against him. "Just watch your show." Were muffled words
that came from the spiky ball as it gently shook from side to
side.

[i]A small giggle escaping her peach glossed lips, the pretty
fennec couldn’t help but raise an amused eye brow, at Sonics so
called coping mechanism for a shift in balance. For an
egoistical dork he could be really sweet when he wanted to be.
Shrugging, she perched herself gently beside his curled up
state, flicking on the anime channel for at least a few minutes,
before a clever idea sprouted to mind about how she was going to
coax her friend back out from his new found comfort zone.
Wordlessly wandering off into the kitchen, she casually went
about setting up cups, plates, and cutlery, her tone playfully
scalding. “ "I know that anime isn’t your thing but I swear this
is a new extreme even for you blue, but I guess that can’t be
helped.. I suppose you’re going to leave me to finish off all
these jumbo sized chilli dogs by myself then.. “ Retrieving the
still warm takeout bag from the microwave, the fennec shook the
packaging a little, allowing the smell to waft into the living
room, and then she sat herself down, and started a mental
countdown. ‘3,2..’

The moment his nostrils picked up a whiff of chili he unfurled
and bolted to the table tossing at least three of them down his
gullet before they could even cool down. While chewing his food
he came to a sudden realization as he licked the chili from his
fingers. "Hey!? Wait a second.....That was a dirty move Heart."
Getting up he barked at the pretty fox as he pulled his gloves
off. "STOP DOING THAT! You know I think you're stunning stop
doing that thing where you shake my emotions up like a soda and
make me all.........yanno." Getting rather mythed he crossed his
arms while giving an adorable pout. He gave Sonya an unimpressed
glare as it just dawned on him the second biggest nerd he knew
was able to take advantage of him again!
The blue hedgehog rolled his eyes before uncrossing his arm as
he attempted to take control of the situation; turning on the
charm he ran his hand through his spines while dropping his
voice a few octaves to make it a little deeper. "I can't blame
you for crushing on me. I mean I'm the total package; devilish
good looks, razor sharp wit and a smile that sells out
stadiums." He placed a hand above where the doctor was standing
as he backed her into a corner and raised an eyebrow. "So babe
you wanna sit around and watch your barely animated cartoons or
you wanna take a ride on the S train?"

[i] “Dirty move?.. I don’t know what you’re
talking about, it’s not my fault you have extremely low
amounts of self-control when it comes to anything chilli dog
related!” Not bothering to hide her amused smirk his way
this time round, while he snapped and complimented her at the
same time, admittedly she did feel the heat creep across her
cheeks, the moment he tried to turn on his usual charms, however
two could play at that game. Feeling her back brush against the
coolness of the kitchen wall, she took note of how close they
were, decided to battle it out for control. Her own voice
switching to something a lot more come-hither, she laced her
arms around his neck, bringing him even closer.
"You’ve got that right .. I mean I’ve always been
effectively immune so your apparent charms.. but you sure can
have your moments.. on the other hand..” Trailing off,
she brought a free hand forward, lovingly grip his chin, his
lips inches away from her own. “I would LOVE for you to
elaborate on how stunning you think I am .. because I had
absolutely no idea..” The fingertips on her other hand
softy stroking the back of his neck, she added. I definitely
want to take a ride .. long and hard if you feel you could
handle it, i mean i don't blame you for getting overwhelmed.. i
mean between my smooth fully toned body, model facial features,
and all out natural beauty you not knowing how to act with me is
a given.” She’d known what the S on his terms
actually meant, but if she was going to snatch control stepping
things up a notch with the implications was a sure fire win.

When Sonya pulled the fearless hero into an embrace and added a
seductive tinge to her tone he completely melted, his defenses
down. Looking into his best friends eyes he knew he had no
choice but to give her what she wanted so he decided to give up
on being flustered and tell the truth. "I mean you're not lying
between your golden hair and your banging butt I'm crazy about
you. I love the way we just get each other, I love the way you
get overly nerdy when talking about medicine or anime but most
of all I love you. I never said anything about it but the days
your anxiety flared up and we'd walk around the city holding
hands were some of my favorite. Everybody else just sees the
Sonic hero or Sonic the celebrity when you look at me you just
see Sonic. It's kinda funny because the way I act around you
when you get like this means I see you as some sorta Starlet."
"I like this new found confidence you have." Sonic gave a
massively egotistical smile as he placed an arm around Sonya's
waist pulling her ever closer. "I'm rubbing off on you. Now
about that long and hard ride, so long as you're driving I'm
down to get dirty. We can play how fast can I tear that little
lacy number off you using only my mouth." Having finally said it
out loud would have no doubt permanently shifted the power
balance of their relationship in Sonya's favor however Sonic
seemed to like it that way.

[i] Those three letter words dancing oh so beautifully on her
now largely twitching ears, Sonya felt that an immediate audible
response of her own would tarnish the moment. And so she didn’t
speak, and instead settled for moving her face in a little
closer, enough for their foreheads to connect before their lips
did. It was a brief kiss, but it carried just the right amount
of passion to get her point across. A light smile now gracing
her muzzle, she finally spoke. “You will always be more than
just the hero of Mobius to me, I love you to..”
A fond laugh escaping her lips, as she pressed happily against
him, her previously gentle smile now turned into something far
more inviting, as she countered his shamelessly flirtatious
banter with something more final of her own. “I’m all set for
that game, although if I catch you cheating the fun will be
getting you to start over..”
Her fingertips knotting firmly into his through, the fennec took
charge, leading him from her kitchen, with a smug expression,
and a knowing glint in her blue eyes.
She sure loved Sundays.
