Light, camera and action!
Again it was time for the weekly Mobobotropolis late evening
talk-show with Rouge the bat as the host and her weekly guests.
The bat sat at her desk holding an alabaster mug. Sitting at her
desk comfortably, she crossed her legs and looked at the camera
and spoke.
''Good evening Mobotropolis, it is once again the time for our
weekly meeting. I hope your week went well because tonight we'll
discuss the things you never dare to talk about with our guests
and also will have opinions good or bad on let's just say touchy
subject. But let's start with the first segment of our show and
let our guests introduce themselves!''
The camera shifted to the guest's seats while the spotlight was
on them, the public was ready to hear them and the show was on.
Rouge smirked while holding her coffee mug and batted an eye to
signal to one of the assistants to bring the guest their own mug
with the show's logo on it.

"Yeah just decaf cappuccino, thanks."
Mighty got a couple of conversations with producers both over
the phone and through real life conversations about getting on
the talk show with several other people he either knew or didn't
at the most. These producers told him that it was going to be
more sensitive topics, but the armadillo took that as a
challenge he could handle. It was a very popular show in
Mobotropolis, the show was called "Mobotropolis Tonight!" so it
had to be.
"Here's a decaf cappuccino in a mug Mr. Mighty. Oh and, your
on!"
The assistant handing the mug before pushing him a little into
the spotlight. Mighty of course didn't have time to take a deep
breath so he just smiled walking onto the stage with a slight
wave to the crowd. He approached his seat but walked over a
little to side of where Rouge was sitting and gave a her a light
hug, jogging back over to his seat popped a squat, crossing his
legs. "Hello, Ms. Rouge. Thanks for inviting me here tonight."

''Greetings Mighty, welcome and tell me. How's life when your
living so openly around Mobotropolis? Any bad feed comments,
after all, we've seen you around heroes. Anyone in your life?''
Rouge went on with the questions to start the show with the
first segment on the LGBT life around Mobius. The host herself
was known to have occasional dates with a few women herself
which were no secret to the public. She took a sip and replaced
the mug down on the table. The public seemed on edge and the
question had triggered the curiosity of a few in the room. After
all the polls had indicated that Mighty was popular amongst the
known LGBTs personalities.

Mighty leaned back a little in his seat, not a question he
expected but probably should've. Himself being gay, he wasn't as
open about it, but was available for conversation on the topic.
Not too much in public whoever, as many people he'd heard from
both on the web and real life had occasionally gotten angry at
him, in a couple of cases going up to his face and arguing with
slurs and blobs of spit. But as time went by people began to
realize that this had to be true, going with conspiracies quite
often as they weren't wrong. Yes, the armadillo had openly
addressed that he was in fact a gay man, it wasn't known if he
was going or had dated or even is dating someone at the moment.
"When your a Mobian among other Mobians, you have to show at
least some form of courtesy among others. Luckily, more people
are, even in public nowadays. I appreciate it, I really do. It
seems like more people have acceptance of gay, lesbians,
bisexuals, transgenders, which is amazing to see. Yet, we as a
society have others that aren't always going to be accepting,
taking away our rights or freedoms, or to simply just lash out
against us. I know this because I've been a victim among many
others who had this sort of hatred brought upon who we are or
want to be. Yes, it is wrong, yet at the same time we need to
realize it's always going to happen. There's always just going
to be that one person, doesn't matter who, just that one person
who tries to ruin it all. And how you handle that situation is
dependent on what you believe, and how you criticize against
them. If you have friends or even family to back you up, have
them help out to take down these haters, and give them the two
cents they need." Mighty yelled a little at the last sentence,
giving the crowd some attention with a point of a finger to the
camera. "Don't you dare be afraid to come out of that closet.
You know well as I am that you can't hide in them forever.
Spread that rainbow when you do, you've earned it."

Rouge was carefully listening to every word that the armadillo
spoke. Having him as a guest was a good occasion to send a
message to the viewers and maybe force them to think for once.
The bat was more than glad to see that someone was willing to
stand up and speak so openly around. ''So you say that you have
been the victim of occasional homophobic slurs, which proves
that despite our community being known to the public and widely
accepted'' she paused for an instant to think about her next
words and choose them carefully.''you still encounter problems
with some members of our society. As we might be civilized, we
are far from being perfect. Thank you Mighty for your brilliant
speech, which leads me to introduce our next guest. Dr Sonya
Hearts, the generous and kindhearted soul responsible for
rebuilding the orphanage and for so much more. Please, Sonya,
have a seat and tell us, as a doctor have you helped LGBT
people?''
It was a little rough but Rouge was confident that her friend
could handle it after she was her bestie. Having a doctor around
the show could help to have more professional opinions than the
past ''experts'' that some of the producers wanted to include.

[i] To say that she was experiencing pre showtime nerves would
have been an understatement. How Sonic handled being in the
spotlight on these sort of levels so regularly was beyond her.
Having spent the majority of her off stage time pacing back and
forth, and attempting to make emergency phone calls to Sonic,
only to get his annoying voice mail message, she'd resorted to
trying out her new concurring anxiety technique 'power poses'
striking ridiculously confident poses in front of the full
length mirror near by, when she thought no one else was looking.
Hearing sudden footsteps, the female ceased her power poses
instantly, trying to look like she hadn't been trying anything
out of the ordinary.
"Um Miss Heart, your're on! lets go!"
Before she knew what was happening, she was being gently steered
towards the main stage, her hastily gabbed protests falling on
selectively deaf ears.
"W-Wait i'm not-"
And she was out in the open.
Momentarily stunned, the female could only stare blankly across
the crowd for a few moments, her body feeling stiffer by the
minute. Although somehow she managed to make her way across the
stage, to where Rouge and a vaguely familiar looking armadillo
was settled, a nervously thin lipped smile blossoming across her
lips, as she managed a princess like wave towards the audience
in acknowledgement. Rouges glowing introduction for her having
chased away the worst of her nerves, she took up the seat
closest to the bat, her on stage confidence growing into its
own, the more she adjusted.
Direct question asked, Sonya took to answering, deciding to go
straight to the point. Smoothing down the none existent creases
on her crisp white medical garment, she continued.
"I'm glad you asked that Rouge, with the on going stigma that
people within the LGBT community still face at present, i make
sure to do everything within my power as a health care provider
to ensure that those who need it, have the best emotional and
mental support i can provide, from peaceful protests of
discrimination to fund raisers and support groups, i firmly
believe that everyone should be allowed to have a voice, this is
2018 no one should still be getting negativity for who they
choose to be and i strongly stand by that, granted those who
don't share my opinion are entitled to their said opinion like
everyone is, but with so much hate going on already .. there
simply isn't a point to it, we should be encouraging love and
peace among EVERYONE, not trying to fight against it."
Finishing her speech, with a relaxed twirl of the end of her
blonde locks on her fingertip, she felt a weight lift from her
shoulders.

Mighty smiled, nodding in agreement.
"And I'm proud of you for doing those fund raising events, it
really gives people like me confidence, thank you." he blessed
before the crowd cheered excitingly. "Now, as much as me seeing
certain heroes goes.." Mighty smirked, the crowd now heavily
cheering in their seats as tried to say his words, moving his
finger in front of him. "I will admit, I am in a close
relationship with a certain somebody, but I will not admit who
it is. Until I get his say on it I won't say who this person is.
I can say though he is a long time colleague of mine." he smiled
again, leaning back in his seat.

''so it's been ongoing for a while? Interesting well, that was
the time we got for this segment of the show and now let's talk
about super Mobians. Are you for or against having them be held
responsible for the trail of destruction of our cities? People
at home, don't forget to vote on the Mobius net and we will come
back after a short publicity pause.'' The music played and they
had a five minutes pause. Rouge sighed and chuckled, she wasn't
sure that it would pass with the producers but apparently, the
public seemed to have enjoyed Mighty's speech and of course, the
apparition of the beautiful doctor Heart was very welcomed.
''Just between us, how do you like being on the show? So far the
people love you two and the producers seem quite content. I'm
really glad you could make it in time. '' When not recording,
Rouge was more open-hearted than her tv persona which helped her
feel more relaxed with her guests.

"I enjoy the attention a lot, honestly." he leaned a bit forward
toward Rouge. "I don't mind the questions, it's good for people
to know some opinions from popular figures time after time. The
only problem I could think about the show is the creamer in the
coffee, just too sweet. Maybe it's me, I don't know." he
chuckled, putting his fist on his check. "Your very sweet too
now that I think about it." he laughed, leaning back his chair,
now meditating for a moment.

[i] Gently rubbing the back of her head, Sonya let out a small
giggle, now managing to properly release the built up tension in
her muscles she wasn't even aware she'd been holding. Knowing
that they weren't on the air for the time being, changed her
attitude for the better. Ears pricking high on her head, [a sure
sign that she was feeling comfortable] she leaned forward, to
give her friends hand a reassuring squeeze.
"Well you know that being in the spotlight isn't usually my
forte Rouge, but i'm really glad i got to come and lend you a
hand, and it's always a pleasure seeing you Mighty."
