Sonic was less than thrilled with Mighty's idiotic behavior
towards the king and just tuned out wearing a look of boredom
the entire time. As Sonic stared off into space he wondered to
himself. "Mighty isn't the hottest chilidog in the stack, that's
for damn sure." While wondering he looked around and reflected
on the severity of the armadillo's punishment just for assault;
what Sonic was planning would surely have much worse
ramifications were he to be caught. Using this as a learning
experience the hedgehog was going to remain tight lipped about
his exploits in front of his friends from now on excluding those
he trusted more closely such as Tails, Amy and Sonya. "Oh you
know just hero stuff. Not that I want another attack but I'm
worried about Robuttnik, he hasn't resurfaced in a while and I
just know ol lard ass is planning something."

"Really? Hero stuff is all?" Mighty laughed. "Look, I know as
well as you that Robotnik is up to something, he always is. But,
I'm not a stupid brute like Knucklehead you know? Well, at least
from what I see." he'd put his arm on the hedgehog's shoulder.
"Even though we do the right thing who knows how much, we aren't
always on that perfect record. I admit, I've done plenty of
things that aren't exactly for the public to be fond of, mostly
just to have a good time. I'm certain you have as well, just
don't tell me here if you really want to."

Really, a letter. Just a plain old 'hey how are you' letter to
his sister. Not a message of grave importance that might have
actually warranted barging into the Royal Palace, just a letter
to catch up with family, and the fist place he thought of to
find a mailbox was Castle Acorn. "Just this letter?" Elias asked
before giving an exasperated sigh. "Alright I guess I can make
sure it get's delivered if it means you won't break into any
more high security Government buildings. Next time please try
the post office first." The King said as he tucked he envelope
into his coat for safe keeping while he wondered just how many
cards short of a Royal flush this armadillo really was.
Then Elias noticed the shift in the direction the conversation
was taking. "I'd appreciate it if both, the two of you keep
incidents like this to a minimum, and you certainly don't
discuss any other recent crimes with me. The public loves you
when you're defending them from Robotnik, but when he hasn't
been heard from in months and you start having super powered
street brawls, it wears their patience very thin. Trust me, you
do not want public opinion to turn against you." Elias warned
more so to Sonic than Mighty as he recalled several recent news
stories in which the 'hero of Mobius' was more of a public
menace than anything.
