Burn It All To The Ground
By: Scourge Date: May 7, 2018, 4:24 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Scourge had stepped out of the portal from his home on
Anti-Mobius as he straightened up his jacket; he looked over the
shimmering city his goody-red-sneakers other self called home.
The reflection of the city sat within the red lenses of his
sunglasses, the untapped sight causing the green speed demon to
smirk. He started preforming stretches prior to taking off and
unleashing a deafening sonic boom; the shockwave shook the city
to it's very core as Scourge started his work. With speed to
equal Sonic the green devil roared across the city leaving a
path of destruction in this wake; cars flipped and pavement was
torn up under the reality bending speed the hedgehog posses.
Scourge was going to start with an old favorite he located the
local orphanage and zipped around to both the back and front
exits barring them shut with scaffolding he found in the
alleyway; now with both exits barred he picked up the gas
canister sitting by his side and rushed around the building
splattering every itch of the ground floor in gasoline. The tiny
souls inside were unaware they were about to enter a literal
hell as the green gangster flicked at his lighter trying to get
       it to start.
With a final flick the fame burned brightly causing a twisted
grin to spread across his vile lips. He patted himself down
feeling around his jacket until he located his cigars, pulling
one out he held it over the lighter before placing it between
his teeth. He took a deep puff as he flicked his lighter away
and enjoyed the hit of tobacco the lit cigar gave him; it
couldn't be helped he was a villain of vice and enjoying a smoke
before a kill was a weakness of his. He stood silent for a
moment thinking on the children inside as he puffed away
inhaling exhaling the smoke. He couldn't help but nod in
excitement at the thought of the brats running around scared and
confused before being burned alive. After some time had passed
the cigar was burned down to a nub and Scourge flicked the
remainder of it towards the building; the cigar stub hit the
side of the building causing smoldering embers to scatter into
the air, these embers then ignited the gas and the show finally
started. Scourge spread his arms as the entire bottom floor of
the building erupted into a deadly blaze almost instantly; he
was standing as if presenting a work of art. Soon the fire
spread to the second floor and the screaming started, all the
tiny souls trapped inside along with their caretaker were now
isolated within a towering inferno. As the moments passed and
the building burned the flames went higher; the few adults
inside that braved the flames on the lower level were trying to
barge the door open but alas their efforts were in vain as
Scourge had barricaded the door. Next came the fun part Scourge
looked upwards as the children on the upper level started
throwing themselves out of the building either badly injuring
themselves or falling to their death if they tried it from more
       than two stories.
Admiring the death and confusing he was causing Scourge pulled
out a video camera holding it towards the building; while his
twisted eyes looked through the view finder the smoke started to
suffocate those trapped inside and he couldn't be happier.
Scourge was ecstatic he was getting away with this for so long,
this was one crime he loved committing because lots people lost
their lives before the heroes showed up only punctuating their
failure; it worked because fire spread fast and Scourge could
act even faster. The twisted sadist watched through the grainy
view finder of the camera as all the pieces he set in place
caused the people inside to fall like dominies in his twisted
game. He was honestly hoping no heroes showed up so he could
savor this moment before moving onto bigger things.

By: Shadow the Hedgehog Date: May 8, 2018, 2:38 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
At a local library Shadow the Hedgehog is off duty, seeking some
alone time to enjoy this opportunity to do something else other
than mission work and training, one of the things he or rather
other people recommend is to improve his gloomy outlook on life
starting with building up some positivity. Its not only
necessary for himself, it can benefit on changing everyone's
negative perception towards the brooding shrew. Shadow selected
a book titled "How to Be Positive 101' from a bookshelf, he goes
to park at a wide table from the others to read in peace, gloved
digits turn the pages as cold pupils drowned in the information
       presented in the book.
Everyone else bear mixed reactions among his presence, ranging
from fear, disgust, and even hatred towards Shadow, some people
are too caught up in their own world to notice Shadow's arrival,
they are lost in their personal enjoyment of reading aside from
spiteful whispers. It was generally quiet all around, mainly
because it is a library, but ultimately no venomous words are
       needed.
The black hedgehog never took his eyes from the book, the
instructions presented are pretty basic, it talks about learning
to smile, think happy thoughts, gaining hobbies, making a
friend, etc pretty simple stuff. In the case of Shadow he kinda
already fulfilled most of those steps since the days of moving
on from his past, yet he isn't optimistic like Sonic and
friends, its a mystery why he is having a difficult time
achieving such a task, perhaps this book may solve his problem.
"!!"That will have to wait as suddenly the library shook and
rattle knocking down books, tables and bookshelves were toppled.
"An earthquake!?" he dropped his book and scrambled to get out
of the building along with everyone else and to his horror the
city is a mess again when the repairs were almost finished from
       the war.
       Dammit!
Shadow looked around the street watching people running for
their lives, vehicles skidding all over the place crashing into
walls, fire hydrants ad other vehicles, he then spotted a big
trail of smoke ascending to the sky, indicating a house or some
other building is burning down to ash, well not if the ultimate
lifeform can help it! Determined to find out who is responsible
for the carnage he chaos controlled to scene to find out people
are jumping out from the widow at high risk of injury or death.
Shadow used his speed and agility to catch the falling survivors
before more casualties piled up. Not wasting any time he
teleported inside the burning complex, his body instantly felt
like it wants to melt away in the scorching flame. "Is anyone
alive!?, I'm here to get you out!" he put a hand near his mouth
to call out for anyone still left in the building.

Re: Burn It All To The Ground
By: James Date: May 8, 2018, 3:07 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Under normal circumstances the police could be expected to
respond slowly, however, this time it was different, mainly
because it was affecting the entire city. There was no way they
couldn't respond to it in time and, for once, the police got
themselves together and mobilized in record time as they sped
out to assist all over the city. They figured that the heroes
would be stretched thin for once and they couldn't leave the
city to them. It was time to do some damage control.
As part of this operation, James was directed towards the large
smoke trail raising into the air near the orphanage. The
dispatcher was clearly concerned and urged him to get there
quick. However, with the chaos that had ensued, the police found
themselves hampered by something other than laziness for once.
Therefore James soon decided to ditch the car all together and
just proceed on foot. He grabbed his gear and pistol and started
to run towards the orphanage. It was no doubt faster in this
       case.
Once he arrived at the scene, he quickly tightened his helmet
and his shield straps. He checked his pistol and then went in
for a closer look. He arrived just in time to see a black
hedgehog save several survivors jumping for their lives from
heights that'd normally kill them out of desperation. After that
the mobian seemingly teleported away, hopefully inside to help
the rest. That being said, it make James question why they
hadn't just used the front door to escape instead. That question
was soon answered though as he came around to the facade and saw
the door had been barricaded. It didn't take a genius to figure
out what was going on here. He might be a bit slow when catching
onto things but even he could remember that the orphanage wasn't
abandoned. This had just taken a much darker turn and it made
       him sick.
"Sir, this is Mitchell," he said over the radio with a tremor in
his voice, "i've arrived on site... and i- i think it's worse
       than we thought."
"How so, officer?" the dispatcher asked back, "what do you have
       to report?"
"The doors were boarded up," James said and took a deep breath
to calm himself, "i- i think we might have a case of arson on
       our hands."
"Then don't just stand there, find the monster and bring him
in!" the dispatcher instructed, clearly agitated, "get going,
hound! Find the bastard! Over and out!"
"Ye- yes sir," James nodded and turned off his radio, "i will...
       don't you worry one bit."
It didn't take him very long either. As he turned around and
didn't focus on the orphanage itself, he quickly noticed a green
hedgehog standing with a camera and... filming the whole thing
rather than intervening. James hadn't thought he could be
sickened more already but now he was proven wrong.
"Hey, you!" he called as he started to approach Scourge,
somewhat leaping to conclusions in the process as he drew his
pistol, "i got a few questions for you. Best put down that
camera of yours and start explaining what happened here!"
It would seem that someone did indeed turn up to ruin Scourge's
fun and the latest arrival could best be described as an
overgrown husky clad in armor from head to toe coming right for
       him with a drawn weapon.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Lukas walked through the streets and watched as citizens
scurried about in a panic. Apparently some new disaster had
befallen the city since the last time he was here. All along the
streets were turned over cars, the pavement was uprooted, and
wounded Mobians sat dazed trying to piece together what had hit
them. Even more concerning than the property damage in the
streets was the thick column of smoke rising in the distance.
The closer Lukas got to the smoke the more he was gagged by the
unmistakable stench of burnt fur and flesh. Finally upon the
scene he took in the sight of an orphanage engulfed in flames,
and even more to his horror, dozens of tiny bodies laying broken
and charred where they had jumped from the windows to escape the
       hell inside.
"Chaos gibt mir Kraft" Lukas said as he pulled his scarf over
his muzzle to keep the smoke out of his lungs. Then he spotted
HIM, that green hedgehog, the trouble maker. Only now he didn't
seem like a pest easily dealt with, not this was a monster who
took absolute glee in the suffering of others. The wicked grin
on the leather clad hedgehog's face sent a chill down Lukas'
spine. "You monster, you did this!" Lukas barked as he raised
       his rifle towards Scourge.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Amy Rose drove down the street, heading home after a good day at
the museum. She bobbed her head with the music playing on her
radio, unable to stop herself from singing with the lyrics.
"~You're the coolest person that I have ever seen. So perfect
with your pretty face on the..." Her singing trailed off as a
horrific feeling suddenly tugged at her gut. She clicked off her
radio and quickly pulled over. Amy sat there, focusing on that
feeling, closing her eyes as she tried to see what her sixth
sense was trying to tell her.
"Something's wrong..." She put the car in reverse and swerved
back into the street, her foot pressing harder on the gas pedal.
She followed her instincts, cutting through various roads and
one-ways to get to her destination. When the road she needed to
turn on was broken and full of overturned cars, she knew this
was the place. She parked and jumped out of the car, running
down the street at her super speed. She didn't need to know
where she needed to be anymore as the flames and towering smoke
       were clues enough.
"The Orphanage. Oh by the Ancient Walkers, NO!" She stretched
out her arm and summoned her trusted Piko Piko hammer, gripping
it tightly as she smashed the front door down. She prayed that
she wasn't making the fire worse by allowing another entrance
for air but if it could help get people out she had to take that
       risk.
Backing away from the building, she turned her attention to
those that Shadow had not been able to rescue in time, rushing
to each child and checked for life signs. She thought over her
very limited experience with war medical knowledge and tapped
       her communicator watch.
"If anyone is listening, this is Amy Rose, I'm calling for
immediate assistance at the Orphanage in Mobotropolis!" She
rattled off the address quickly. "Need medics! Please, if anyone
is listening, please hurry!" She wanted to call for Sonic
specifically, but she needed more than just him, most of these
children couldn't be moved. They needed a doctor...
       Doctor... "Sonya!"
She punched in Sonya's number on the specific com and prayed she
       would pick up.

Blaze was on the other side of ton just finishing up another
bounty and collecting his reward. He counted over his money
carefully before giving a salute and walking off in the opposite
direction. As he walked he started to notice a change in the air
as his canine nose picked up a smell he knew to well. It didn't
help that his ability to sense fire was going off telling him
that danger was near. The sounds of screams and unspeakable
destruction led the bounty hunter to believe he was heading in
the right direction. Not wasting any time, he leaped on to a
nearby building before taking a good look around.
Spotting the raging fire, he broke off into a dash and started
leaping from rooftop to rooftop. Moments later he stood in he
front of the burning inferno and the sight horrified him. The
smell of burning fur and the mangled bodies was enough to make
the wolf hurl. Taking a deep breath, he began to channel his
inner fire and started to drawn in the fire and bring it to him.
This should at least give those inside a better chance at
escape. But who started this fire?
A shout from below drew his attention to the bad guy in
question. Leaping down beside lukas, Blaze's hands emitted
flames. " Looks like i just hit the jackpot. You're going down
shades. " Blaze stated as he readied himself.

By: EternalPeace Date: May 11, 2018, 4:33 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
[i] Prior to the distress call, it was another typical day for
the young fennec on hand. And yet she felt more restless than
usual, which wasn't exactly unusual with her being such a
jittery type. But this.. this was more than her everyday
anxiety, she just wasn't putting a finger on the direct cause
for her dread. not until her suspicions got confirmed moments
afterwards, noise thundered through the hospital, as a handful
of their most skilled Doctors, [her father leading the fore.]
Was striding out of the building, a tension so thick in the air
that it could have been cut with a knife. True to form mobians
best physician was barking his orders out left and right, not a
trace of anxiety in his light blue orbs all the while.
"I WANT THE AMBULANCES PREPPED IMMEDIATELY DO YOU HEAR ME, WE
PRIORITIZE THOSE WHO ARE CLINGING TO LIFE, NO HESITATIONS, MOVE
       MOVE MOVE!"
Ears flattening slightly, in reaction to his sharp shouting,
Sonya ducked her head out of view at the last second, a tight
lipped scowl fixing across her muzzle, at the ducks priority
orders. She didn't care how logical his approach was, she wasn't
just going to head there, and try and save all the ones that
looked like they was going to make it. The children that
probably weren't going to deserved a chance just as much and if
possible she was going to give them that, regardless of priority
       orders.
Her ears flickering at bleeping of her wrist communicator, Sonya
picked it up on the third shrill bleeping, not wasting a second.
Knowing fully well that Amys skill set didn't lie within medical
boundaries, Sonya answered her unanswered questions, before
giving her room to launch into the semi hysterics.
[i] "Amy, i'm on my way with the rest of the medical team, your
distress call his been received by Tommy Turtle Memorial
Hospital, now i need you to listen me VERY carefully, for those
that are showing signs of life they are going to be going into
shock, i need you reassuring them, try and keep them as calm as
possible, if they have anything large or deeply embedded in
their wounds DO NOT under any circumstances try and remove it or
attempt to clean the wound, just please keep the panic among the
survivors to a minimal until we arrive!"
Ending the call briskly, she broke into a jog, managing to
arrive in time, to see the last of the doctors climbing into an
ambulance. Doctor Quack in the drivers seat, knuckles clenching
the wheel so tightly, his knuckle change in pigmentation looked
more apparent, she readied herself for his full scale protests,
snapping, and objections, only to have him bellow at her.
"SONYA ALEXIS QUACK DAMMIT IT HURRY UP GIRL OR SO HELP ME I'M-"
She was in her seat in seconds, door slamming, her assertive
tone cutting through his raised one.
"Doctor Quack, you can scald me LATER RIGHT NOW WE HAVE AN
       ORPHANAGE TO SAVE!"
For once the physician didn't argue. Feeling him hit the gas
pedal so briskly, that if not for her seat beat protection, she
would of gone flying through the windshield, with the amount of
adrenaline gradually building up and coursing through her, she
barely acknowledged the blaring of the ambiance siren in her
ears. Winding effortlessly in between traffic, and red lights, a
navigation route already planned, assured that they arrived on
the scene in record time, her sky blue irises widening in
horror, at the horrific scene that played out before her, she
was left little time to dwell, with the ambulance coming to a
sharp stop, doors being flung open, multiple gurneys being
wheeled out, towards the massacre. Instinctively following suit,
Sonya was already assessing multiple causalities from a near
distance, her mind a blur of all to real stress and panic,
numbed only by her take control professionalism. With the other
medics occupied, Sonya sprinted towards the familiar silhouette
of the pink furred hero, taking note that alongside her Shadow,
a sniper that she vaguely recognized, a guy in full suited
armor, and another member of the newly formed resistance was
trying to keep the situation at bay, and for that she was
       grateful.
Murmuring to herself without pause, her medical intuition,
       spilled out into overdrive.
"Thirty suffering excessive bleeding, head traumas, brain
damage, broken bones.. a-another thirty no doubt i-indefinite
amount dead.. t-thirty more inside ..most unless retrieved in a
certain amount of time, will die from smoke inhalation.. "
Closing her eyes, the fennec forced herself to block everything
out around her, just for a few vital minutes. Because she didn't
have the time to actively treat all the injured by hand, she was
going to have to rely on her healing abilities, she'd deal with
the personal repercussions later. An electric green aura
materializing slowly over her small frame, the fennec focused
purely on letting her healing ability build, keeping all the
children she needed to heal fresh in her mind, injuries and all,
and only when she felt her magical energy was at a crucial
tipping point, did her now electric green orbs snap open, her
fingertips splaying in sync, causing a wave of green energy to
wash over all the injured and almost dying within her range,
which miraculously did as intended, orphan after orphan, began
to recover instantly when cleansed over with her magic. In any
other circumstance Sonya would have overjoyed at such a sight,
but she knew that they was a long way off from that. Relieved
that the other Doctors, took heed of her actions, the now heal
healed and frightened orphans was being accounted for, and
gathered into safe custody immediately. Catching her fathers eye
for a second, he gave her a subtle nod of approval, prompting
       her secondary actions.
Ignoring the slight wooziness that was trying to start with her,
again this was a means of focus. Sealing off the area was a
little risky, but the alternative giving this horrendous fiend a
chance to make an exit while the rest of them, was occupied
wasn't an option that sat well with any of the medic team.
Thrusting both her palms skyward, Sonyas electric green glow
intensified, leaving only a minute gap this time round, she
spread her arms down on either side, feeling the pull of her
energy all the while, in sync with her arms being drawn down, an
all to familiar see through electric green barrier formed around
the orphanage area, effectively causing large inconvenience for
the low life that decided to act on this, she hoped. Now showing
no previous signs of the worry and anxiety that she initially
had, the doctor addressed Amy directly, head sized force field
bubbles, forming around both hers and the pink furred ones
heads, to help them keep a steady oxygen flow, for when they got
       closer to the smoke.
       "We have to go."
"I respectfully ask your permission to let me to back you up,
but i'll be going into that building with or without it."
Making sure that her barrier was adjusted for only those with
PURE intention to pass through, she made a brilliantly hasty
last minute decision on who else she could get into contact with
to lend a much needed hand. Her location coordinates, sent off
to her favorite water bending friend [okay her ONLY water
bending friend so far.] She hoped for the best, and awaited Amys
       reply.

Reck stands at the door of his shop. Destruction as far as the
eye can see. A car conviently flipped in front of his door
blocking entrance. His spell book screaming at him from
upstairs. There's trouble about and it knows. Reck stares at the
destroyed city through his yellow eyes. He let's out a long
sigh. "I guess, I can help with this." He turns around and heads
upstairs into his study. Grabbing his spell book, the screaming
stops. "Thank you." Reck seemingly talking to the spell book. He
puts on a hooded jacket and a dust mask to conceal his identity.
Teleporting himself outside on to the roof of his business, Reck
surveys the area. This place is a mess. He thinks to himself
flipping through his spell book. Finding the object manipulation
spell in his book He uses it to flip the car blocking his door
back on to it's wheels parked on the side of the damaged street.
Teleporting himself down to the ground Reck starts straightening
out damaged cars and clearing downed objects. He cleans the
streets by his shop before following the direction of the
destruction. As he walks towards the epicenter, the pillar of
smoke, Reck's head starts pounding at the sensation of The
medical teams magical barrier. I really hope this magic isn't
the cause. The school would be disappointed. Reck still
straightening up what he can. As he comes across a van wrecked
into a building. There are people trapped inside the building
and the van is on fire. No fire department insight, probably
scrambled in the chaos. Reck flips pages in his spell book to
his strongest ice spell. Casting the spell he freezes the van
and uses his object manipulation spell to remove it from the
building. After checking to make sure no one was injured and
healing those who were. Reck decides this situation needs his
       direct attention.

Reck tears open a portal between him and where he believes the
pillar of flames is coming from. Using the magical energy as a
focus for his spell. He steps through the portal. Into the
burning orphanage on the second story. The overwhelming heat
almost instantly dropping him to his knees. Well I found the
fire. He readys his ice spell again casting it towards the
flames. No use the fire is too hot his spell unable to solidify.
Reck starts coughing from smoke inhalation. Come on idiot, focus
get yourself out of this. He staggers to his knees and focuses
his ice magic into a fierce stream now directly trying to douse
the flames. His head pounding and still coughing.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Scourge raised an eyebrow as the guns were pulled on him
interrupting his masterpiece; he smiled lowering his camera as
he raised his right hand. "Watch very closely." He told the the
police officer and the guard with a flick of his wrist he was
now holding the clip of a pistol and a laser cartridge. It
seemed like he hadn't moved at all but yet he was somehow
holding the ammunition the two agents of peace had in their
firearms. He ran a current through his fingers causing the clips
to explode as he tossed them aside. He laughed like a cackling
hyena at the sheer stupidity of the two standing before him.
"You send the super powered ones in to save the kids and send
the normies to fight me? You lot really are as stupid as you
look, you've got it backwards." Seeing the wolf fire up his
hands caused Scourge to smirk pointing towards Blaze. "Now he's
the only one whose had the right idea."
Amy's call for help netted a response from Sonic that sounded
alarmed it was filled with static and heavy distortion because
the signal was weak. "Sorry Amy, I've got my hands full here.
I'm hanging upside down in an abandoned city on the other side
of the planet. I can't really talk right now, the broad whose
got me tied up is trying to cut my head off and I'm sorta
attached to it. You guys will have to handle this one without
       me, Sonic out!"
Scourge meanwhile looked around to see all the medical staff and
police officers surrounding the area and assisting the wounded,
he didn't like that one bit. Scourge decided to thin the numbers
as things we're getting too crowded for his liking. In the blink
of an eye it was done he smiled back at the three who were
       threatening him as he pointed to the police force and medics;
the entire group were either laying in a pool of collective
blood or running around screaming with medical implements such
as needles and scalpels sticking out of their eyes and ears; the
sheer horror of what this monster could do in the blink of an
eye was on full display for those foolish enough to cross him.
It wasn't long before those who hadn't died succumbed to their
injuries and joined their fallen comrades. Scourge smiled his
black boots treading over the crimson pool of blood. "I did all
that within a nanosecond, imagine what I can do with a whole
afternoon." He bellowed proudly before he noticed the barrier
erected around the tower. "Hrmm..well whatever with all the
heroes inside there it gives me time to deal with you clowns. So
you wants to die first?" The speed demon asked as he cracked his
knuckles and started right at the trio.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
James did a double take and then glanced at his pistol. Of
course it had to be a super mobian with super speed. He sighed
in annoyance and quickly sheathed it before pulled out a baton
       instead.
"Figured that it had to be a maniac with an inferiority
complex," James snarled to himself as he readied up like a sword
fighter, "the other supers are of no concern to me. We didn't
call for them, whatever they deem needed they can do. You're the
only one i am concerned about."
He was about to ask another question when suddenly everyone
around them were bleeding and screaming with medical equipment
in them. It seemed to confuse the dog at first as he tried to
take it in before his eyes returned to the green fiend.
"You're a real funny person aren't you? Killing innocents for
fun, i bet your parents are really proud of you," he snarled
with bared teeth, "who are you even? Some hedgehog addicted to
caffeine that had a bucket of green paint fall on his head?"
The challenge and threat didn't face him one bit either as he
simply raised his shield and prepared his baton. Death didn't
scare him. He swore to serve and protect and lived by those
words. This fiend had already caused so much chaos that he'd
gladly die if it meant his defeat. Not like he'd be good for
much else. The supers had this under control anyway, he was
somewhat of a dead weight from a horribly inefficient government
body. Sometimes he regretted severing ties with the Resistance.
Oh well, he couldn't go back now.
"Your petty threats are of no concern to me," he answered and
glared at Scourge, "i might not have powers, but you'll still
have to go through me first. So come on, if you're willing to
fight someone that isn't an innocent. I promise it will be
       fun... don't worry, i won't scream."
