~show time!~ (open thread)

It was a beautiful day, blue skies, birds chirping and a slight
breeze. Hailey, instead of enjoying the day from the ground was
relaxing in a tree with her guitar. the tree was so much higher
than the city, it was her normal spot to just chill out when she
wasn't working for someone. plus, she had a gig later tonight to
do a little show in the park. Hailey hums running her fingers up
and down her guitar, hitting random notes. she then proceeds to
look at her watch and grunts. "there is so much time till the
gig...i'm not about to spend the time up in this tree". she
puts her guitar back in its case, slings it over her back and
jumps from the tree landing on her feet. "guess i gotta find
something else to do" she grinned and began walking toward the
city.

On a street corner not far from the park Sonic stood victorious
with his hands on his hips; he donned a cocky smile standing
over a cheering audience that had just seen him destroy a
competitor in a break dancing contest. He smiled and posed for
photos as people pulled out their cameras to get pictures of the
famous hedgehog. It wasn't long before Sonic's inflated ego saw
him signing autographs and flirting with hopeless fangirls, what
could Sonic say? He was a hero who enjoyed the spotlight. It
wasn't long before he'd singed every autograph book thrown his
way and provided a picture to every lens. After giving the
people what they want he cracked his fingers before placing his
hands behind his head as the people went on there way after they
got what they wanted. It'd been weeks since Robotnik had last
made himself known and at the moment Sonic had nothing to fill
his time expect for enjoying his fame. He'd tried to hang out
with Tails but as usual he was busy tinkering with machines
rather than talking to people. "Man, Tails is gunna be sorry he
missed this, I destroyed that guy. I wonder what new gadget my
lil bro is working on today." He thought to himself as he
started to pace through the park.

Hailey as she was walking saw the blue hero crowded by multiple
crowds. " good for him.." she smiled to herself as she continued
walking, suddenly her phone rang. she took it out of her pocket
looking at the number, it was her brother. " hey whats up?" she
asked as she walked past multiple shops. "i was thinking we
could have a practice concert. just to give people a taste of
what they are missing!" Hailey grunted "fine...but you better
hurry up. the crowds are here now because the blue blur himself
is here". "gotcha! i will see you in a few with the rest of the
crew". Hailey said goodbye and hung up her phone huffing. "i
mean, i guess this is a good idea. people might actually like
the rock style we have.." she thought to herself and sat on the
curb waiting.

Ava casually sat in the outside seating of a nearby bustling
coffee shop, conspicuously looking through a pair of opera
binoculars. "Look at him, boosting morale with his mere presence
in a public place! Oh, the hope it must bring them to see their
hero! Ha... If only they knew... what kind of a person he really
was..." Ava monologued to herself, drawing a few stares. Ava
then hastily put away the binoculars and took a few sips from
her small mug of coffee. Another hedgehog caught Ava's eye,
walking casually through the crowd of animals on her phone. Ava
slipped on a large inconspicuous green hoodie to hide her metal
arms and got up from her chair. Leaving her coffee behind, Ava
walked casually behind the hedgehog by a foot or so.
