ALERT Dr.Kaw in the[Desert Zone]

Dr.Kaw was minding his own business in the middle of nowhere. He
thought that it was time for him to enjoy a little time away
from heroes and civilization. He had installed himself on a
folding lounge chair and laid himself under an umbrella. He was
enjoying that free time while slurping his ice cappuccino and
then he remembered that he was there for business.~ Damn, I
should shout some order right now so the boss does think I just
take it easy~
“KAW” CONTINUE GATHER THE CRYSTAL AND MAKE SURE TO NOT TOUCH
THEM WITH YOUR HANDS AND ALWAY “KAW” USE THE SPECIAL CONTAINER”
he yelled at the poor talon.
The sorry fellas were burning under the harsh sun of this zone.
They were holding some kind of metal detector modified to detect
chaos crystal. One of the devices started to beep while being
hover of the sand. The Talon paired with the one has detected
its target then withdrew a shovel to start digging the sand.
After a couple of time, the minion hit something hard then dig
vigorously to get what the Doctor was looking for; a broken down
Eggbot. The unusable piece of machinery was a relic of a past
battle between Eggman and Sonic. In the past sonic must have
beaten that robot easily but the doctor was looking for its
damage power source. Eggman was using crystallize chaos crystal
to power his various machine. They were called chaos drive.
Sadly for Kaw, the technology to crystalize chaos energy was
still a mystery to him so he had to resort to plundering old
Eggman tech.
Inside the bot was a broken chaos drive. The glass casing of the
device was chip which lead to crystal to turned back into pure
energy making the crystal decay with time but still half of it
was still intact. The Talon proceed to put the crystal into
another container and to put it away in his backpack. Law
chooses this location because of the harsh and hostile
environment. Since the crystal them to be instantly absorbed by
any living being they tend to disappear quickly after a bot
destruction. Event the grass could absorb the crystal energy to
make it vanish into thin air.

At that, the time the doctor was detected there was already many
holes dug up by the Talon. They were at least 10 Talons this
time. 2 of them wore the modified suit with the tubing. For the
last 8 of them, they were paired in groups of 2 one with a
backpack and a shovel and the other with the chaos detector and
a battery pack on his back.

Lukas had heard gossip around the city of some wanna be mad
scientist causing trouble at the bank and later the museum and
had decided to try his hand at hunting down this pest. If he
could manage to make the lives of the people in the area just a
little less chaotic by taking out this Doctor Kaw and make a
fair bit of coin from the bounty Lukas would be able to sleep
much more soundly, in a comfy, expensive hotel bed. "One bird
brained scientist and a flock of moronic henchmen shouldn't be
too difficult to take care of." He thought to himself as he
crawled his way across the sands, covering himself in a pale
beige cape to camouflage himself against the dunes of the
desert. Coming to a stop on top of a hill overlooking Kaw's
little scavenging operation Lukas set up his laser rifle,
careful to keep it covered with the cloth to prevent any glare
or glint against the metal from giving his location away as he
loaded 5 batteries into the weapon and took aim.

The heat of the desert’s sun’s rays cascaded a barrage over the
Mobian’s feathers as she seemed to be ‘free falling’
horizontally across the sand dunes of Desert Ruin Zone. Her beak
was agape slightly as she panted and rolled across the sky,
having decided that diverting physics on her person was a lot
less effort than actually flying in such excruciating heat.
Soon enough the lyre bird’s crest feather seemed to have hummed
out a quiet thrum of a stringed, lyre instrument and the
manipulation of gravity upon herself alone ceased and resumed to
obey the laws naturally occurring upon Mobius. Being so
comfortable with such shifts, she showed no fear in falling
towards the sand either; but also timed the spreading of her
wings to soften the impact at just the right moment. Cello had
landed a short distance away from where Dr Kaw and his
‘crow’nies were currently excavating, but the site where the
crystals were being dug up was also between herself and Lukas;
so she wasn’t near him. His camouflage appeared to be quite well
crafted, for she didn’t even notice he was there from where she
was standing. Who knows, she might even become a worthy
distraction?
Whilst the war was over and tasking a break from her job was
often encouraged, some parts of Cello nagged at her that she
shouldn’t and couldn’t relax when finding the locations of
broken down Eggbots was so important. It would be both dangerous
and irresponsible if they were just left lying around so she
would be sure to notify the appropriate members of the
Resistance regarding to collecting and either dispose of or
recycle such weapons.
Cello clicked her dry beak against each other and tilted her
head when she noticed quite a few Mobians were already here
excavating and from the looks of it, harvesting the power
sources – dangerous power sources to boot. She felt taken aback
at first, contemplating on what she should do next, ‘I’m easily
outnumbered so that’s a bad sign.’ she thought, but given the
situation looking rather suspicious activity she couldn’t stand
by idly and do nothing. She wasn’t well versed in combat first
hand either, so the next thing she did was pull out her mobile
phone to fire off a text message to two of her friends: Tails
and Vulff.
[I’ve found a deactivated Eggbot in Desert Ruin Zone but some
guys have beat me to it. Looks suspicious and I’m going to
investigate. I’ll update soon.]
Pocketing her phone once again, Cello took a deep breath and
exhaled slowly.
‘It’s okay, I can do this.’ she encouraged herself before
deciding to make a bold move for such a small Mobian and marched
on over to the flock, “Excuse me,” she called out, mostly
looking to the one who wasn’t getting his hands dirty, once
again eying the crystals being harvested, “I have come here on
official Resistance business to dispose of the Eggbot but what
you’re gathering is exactly the reason why it is so important
for these procedures to conducted properly. Something also tells
me that you don’t have a permit either.”

Guntram sighed as he looked at the map for the fifth time this
journey. This was embarrassing, he was normally a really good
navigator and now he was sitting out here in the desert with a
sensitive cargo of various substances and hardware without a
clue where to go. The mission folder had told him that he should
be able to evade detection by going further into the desert, but
the idiots that provided the map clearly failed their
cartography and navigation exams, because the provided map was
useless. So all he had to go on was his own compass and some
basic directions. The GPS was useless with no reception and over
all he was starting to feel ashamed and lonely. This wasn't why
they hired him. He was better than this. He was paid extensively
for getting there fast and clean. Guess he could say goodbye to
his bonus.
"What a lovely mess this is," he muttered to himself as he
gently lifted the clutch and started rolling again, over the
dunes, "oh well, at least they can't call me lazy when they see
the recorder."
Looking back he should probably have taken that left turn 50
kilometers back. But he was already knee-deep in that, so he
couldn't turn back.
As he crested the dune, he was blissfully unaware of the
excavation further ahead. It was off the records, just like he
was. But unlike them, he was making noise as he rolled down the
dune is his little car. It was his pride and joy. Lightweight,
cheap to maintain and reliable. Everything he wanted. Plus, with
the engine he had been given, he could go very fast, push it
very far, and do some sweet drifts around the corners. A nice
way to let off steam at night when he wasn't contracted to do
anything.
As one could probably guess, the others would be able to see the
tiny mini-SUV gently coming over the top, stopping for a bit
before it started to speed down towards them. The driver still
utterly oblivious to their presence in his attempt to find his
way out of the desert and back on track.

As the doctor was laying down on his lounge chair he was
disturbed in his moment of relaxation. For once he wasn’t
looking for attention but he always comes prepared for any kind
of situation. He saw a gracious bird landing before his group.
When the lady request Kaw’s minions to stop what they were doing
the doctor chuckles. Still, he was unaware that a sniper was
camping nearby but he could see that reinforcement was coming
from afar. To him, it was still a small car-like silhouette but
he knew that it would rhyme with more people trying to mess up
his plan. He tried to come up with the best course of action to
enable him to escape with what he already had gathered.
He then starts to mumble to himself;
“Wellineedthosecrystalssoi’llhavetogetthecarryingtalontotherende
zvouspointmmmmicouldsparefourofthemanditcouldbenicetoseeifthisti
memynewimprovementwillmakethemsurvivelonger?”
The mad bird shook his head to snap out of his deep reasoning.
Just after that he stood up from his chair and adjust his vest
to look more presentable to the lady. Right after looking at
both of his modified Talon he starts to confidently walk toward
the lyrebird. While walking he begins to monologue at her.
“KAW” well, well, well “kaw” I was not prepared to put a show
today and to be honest it was one of my day off. But “kaw” since
your resistance is set to scramble everything I do “KAW” why not
having fun while putting up with you. And “KAW” IF YOU THINK
THOSE ROBOTS WERE DANGEROUS YOU’RE YOU’VE SEEN NOTHIN’ I SAID
NOTHING. [shadow=orange,left]NOW MY BEAST RISE riiiIIIISEEE
“KAWAHAHAHAHAHAHA”[/shadow] he burst into laughter looking at
the sky and raising both hands in the air.
As the doctor finishes his speech the two modified Talon insert
a small glowing pearl-like object in the device on their hands.
At that moment the red liquid starts to pump toward the other
end of the tubing. Right after, the trail of liquid began to
glow like the bead was. As the now glowing liquid entered their
body the two bird appeared to grow slowly. Their skinny stature
now turned into a massive one was intimidating to behold. The
vest they wore was stretched out to its limit and they were
standing taller than what’s considered to be a tall mobile. A
peculiar aspect of their transformation could be felt by those
near enough. They were emitting waves of heat that was hotter
than already hot desert air. It was like they burning or
something. The colossus was twitching ready to come at anyone
that Kaw would order them.
With his monsters transformation done the mad scientist stop his
maniacal laugh to taunt the resistance representative:
“C’mon now you have 5 minutes before I’m gone and those 2 bad
boys are ready to put up a show,” he said with a smirk on his
face. The doctor then pushes a button on a remote he was holding
which lead to ticking sound to begin. The four Talon with back
pack rush to surrond Dr Kaw and the last four of them joined the
monstruous Talon into a battle formation.

Lukas remained in his camouflaged position on top of the sandy
hill as he watched first as a graceful looking bird woman glided
over the area and landed near Kaw's excavation operation. He was
too far away to hear exactly what was being said, but going by
the Doctor's reaction the Lyre bird was apparently not welcome.
As the mad Doctor went about his monologue and posturing, two of
his minion began to transform into hulking monsters.
"What the? They're enormous!" Lukas said to himself in shock and
disgust at the sight of Kaw's henchmen being distorted at
whatever sick crime against nature Kaw had done to them.
Bringing himself back to the task at hand Lukas steadied his
rifle again and took aim at one of the Talons and prepared to
fire but couldn't help but be pulled out of his concentration by
the low rumble of an approaching engine. "was jetzt?" He asked
himself, looking to the horizon for the source of the
disturbance and spotting a small car driving past. Lukas did not
have a scope to try and make out any details of the driver.
