investigating the kaw (police side)

when the detective arrived at the police station he went to the
crime lab he went to the chief investigator saying he was
clearly more laid back at the station "hey doc i need you to
check this out liquid out the bank robbers had it"
he then went to his office to find anything regarding kaw from
family to his studies he also went to look if he could find
anything regarding the tolbec nation until he got the results
from the crime labs in

As quick research on the police server using the keyword “Dr
Kaw” wasn’t very successful. After a couple of search permuting
between Kaw, Doctor Kaw or even using profiling option like
looking for raven criminal or scientist criminal and even Doctor
criminal didn’t prove to be successful. The only conclusion the
detective could have end with is that every descriptor he could
find to narrow his research pointed at Dr Eggman which underline
the possible motive of Kaw’s frustration at being compare to
Eggman. he thought so every clue to him point to eggman that
could explain why he didn't like being compared to him he
probably didn't have a criminal record before now
when he researched the talon nation he got nothing he thought so
in order to discover more about the fleeting island i need to
have someone find it for me
Most mad scientist have a turning point where they ended up as a
villain. So naturally, as a scientist he must have publish some
paper or even had a degree in some field. Those kind of
information should be available on the wide web. the detective
thought so he went and searched kaw in the search bar

The Diva is in town diva?
Lady Miranda Kawinsky is in town for her premiere. She will star
in a newly written Opéra taylored made to exploit the new
theater made in the entertainment district. As our journalist
found out, the theater was generously found by the husband of
the Diva. Founders of the Paradise investment group they decided
to invest in the entertainment district to help the population
vent of some steam and relax a bit. her name is similair to
docter kaw maybe i should talk to her
For those interested in the event, we have to say that this
something not to miss the Diva’s voice is well known to be
something to behold. Her polyphonic voice and perfect pitch
makes her every performance a delight. maybe if i'm done
investigating i can hear her and if i go there i have to
remember not to flirt
when someone from the crime labs came in tentei said what have
you found out sir he replied with "As you told us it was use in
an electronic device we were dumbfound to concluded that the
liquid compound you gave us is ,in fact, an organic compound.
Since we don’t have the necessary expertise to analyze the
possible use of the enzyme we have send the sample to another
lab. We can’t say for now how it is use in the mask function but
we can hypothesize that it might be some sort of drug".
when he searched for drug along wit kaw he got this
Looking through other search result he was able to find that an
old article about using dangerous drug to improve biological
function signed by a professor Kawinsky. Sadly the photo was too
pixelated and dated to draw any conclusion if it was the doctor
or any relatives. Lastly, it was from nearly 20 years ago and no
other mention of Kaw was made between the present time and that
old article. tentei thought now i am sure there has to be a
connection somewhere
he stood up and then went back to the reception saying with
authority if someone from the resistance asks where i am tel
them i think there is a connection between kaw and the diva
kawinsky and that i'm went to talk to her he then went to the
opera and showed the receptionist there his badge saying as
politely as he can i'm detective tentei from the mpd i need to
speak with miss kawinsky so where can i find her he then put his
badge back

The receptionist that detective ended up in front was in a
temporary installation because their was still construction
worker around the building working on the last finishing touch.
The lady bird was a very small pigeon elegantly dress. When the
shady individual came up to her she was very surprised to see
the badge coming out of his coat and even more stun about his
direct inquiry the see the Diva. The poor employee was a bit
scared about the whole thing and very nervous that that the
police was in front of her. She never thought that the great
Lady would do or even be connected to any sort of crime. In
fact, for her the Lady was some sort of a role model. Her hand
was shaking when she was reaching the phone in her booth and
politely tell the inspector that she was sorry and she had to
called her manager.
"Hi boss, Sorry for the call...mmhmm....mmhmm...nooooo it’s not
for a refund or a complain that all the good seat are already
booked….no… not that either...I have a gentleman here that is
asking to meet with the Diva and he is from the police… yes I
did my part ,I’ve check his badges and it’s legit… I dunno why
he want to meet with her boss…mmhmm...okay… so you’ll meet with
him but first you need to know what he want to ask before
meeting with him. Okay got it boss thanks you. I’m very sorry
but the cop was making very nervous I will follow the protocol
next time."
“She then turn to Tentei looking way more relax then when he
presented himself; So yeah my boss told me that the Diva is
would be very pleased to cooperated with the police in any form
but she was a bit surprised in what manner she could helpful
since she hadn’t commit any crime. ~taking a notepad beside her
she pursue~ what would the meeting be about ?And I have to warn
you the Lady is rarely seen without paparazzi at her side so
you’ll have to send your every question to her manager so he
could edit what you’re saying for her image you see. She have a
reputation you see especially with the grand opening nearing bad
presse would disastrous.”
She then lean over the counter and tilt her head slightly to
hear the policeman answer.

when the receptionist asked about what he wanted to speak with
the diva about the detective just said with a serious tone "it
is about the bank heist earlier today you see someone named dr
kaw robbed the bank and i think he used the miracle drug made by
dr kawinsky 20 years ago the same last name as the diva not to
mention she has kaw as part of her last name maybe their related
so i want to ask about him"
when the receptionist said that she is always followed by
paparazzi the detective just said with a calm tone "i guess
their is no other way to do it without the news since i don't
want any crucial information about the case being leaked to the
public"

The receptionist then raise one of her eyebrow highlighting her
being astonished at the detective giving all those information.
She then reply to him;
“I’m really sorry about that but you’ll have to speak to her
manager if you have any more questions my dear. ~she said in her
mind that she was happy to pass the trouble of dealing with the
cop, he had made her nervous enough~ Here’s his number you can
leave a message if he’s too busy with one of his client.”
She reaches for a drawer in her booth to grab a business card
and then slide it in the ticket opening of the glass separating
them.
“Here sir, that’s his number now could you move away there’s a
line building up and real customer waiting to be served”

when the receptionist gave him the card the detective politely
said "thank you miss if you are wondering why i told you my
reasoning for talking to her i just think that it was beter to
explain my reasoning for talking to her since if i kept it a
secret you would be less likely to trust me" that and he was bad
in lying to girls
he then decided to go and call on the number on the card and
when the line picked up he said politely "hello detective tentei
of the mobotropolis pd i need to talk to miss kawinsky about the
bank robbery that happened earlier today i'm waiting in the
lobby" he then decided to pick a newspaper and read it hey this
was an intervieuw with me he thought when he hit a certain page

The manager told him that if it was that urgent he could join
them at a restaurant nearby but if he could join they could
arrange a meet up later in the day. He proceeds to tell the
detective that he would have to use his police influence because
it was a fancy restaurant and normally no one could come in
without a proper reservation.

when he got the meeting he put the newspaper back how he found
it and left saying "thanks" to the receptionist and then left
a few minutes later he went up to the restaurant and went to the
front door showing his badge saying professionally "I'm here on
official police businesses i need to talk with someone here and
if it is possible i would like you to keep all the newspaper
reporters out"
he then went to the diva and her manager and said very serious
"i'll get straight to the point have you ever heard of doctor
kaw" thinking if i don't mention that i'm searching for someone
else they probably will think i'm accusing them of something

Before entering he could see through window the manager holding
his phone. The manager was quite a small and nervous
hummingbird. He was asking for the waitress to bring him a new
cup of coffee. His twitch and his whole demeanor screams of
coffee addiction. Beside him was the Diva a young raven with a
red dress. From the window it was obvious that the Lady was
making a scene. You could see miles away her giggling, making
big gesture with her hands and even singing. She was indeed a
big personality and literally a Diva.
On their table was a third individual looking very menacing. The
Bird was an Owl of a towering stature his look was very scary
and intimidating. The thing is that towering was even the right
word to describe the owl. He was taller and larger than most
mobian. He was wearing a suit but still, he was constantly
adjusting the collar of his shirt so he could breathe a bit as
if he wasn’t comfortable to wear a tuxedo. To Big quickly took
notice of the detective’s arrival at the front of the
restaurant. His head quickly turned in an uncanny way and now
his eyes were locked on the dog detective.
Everyone, there was thinking that it was very rude and impolite
to burst like this into such a prestigious establishment and
Tentei arrived at the lady’s table her bodyguard, the owl,
bounce of his chair and said in a very deep voice; “WOOOT, no
one talk to Lady Miranda like this without letting her speak
first” then the manage join the conversation saying “ I’m sorry
Detectives we didn’t expect you in such a short notice and
pardon mon ami he is dedicated to his responsibility of
protecting the Diva.”
At the end of the manager and the bodyguard intervention Lady
Miranda loudly burst into laughter:
“kawAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I never taught to ear about his name ever
again Ohohohohohohoho” and then wipe a single tear under her eye
as if it was a joke.
Judging by the dog’s face it was obvious it was not a joke and
her expression turn into a more serious one.
“Well mister detective, yes, I do know a Dr. Kaw more precisely
I know a doctor Kawinsky my older brother why are you asking?”
she said annoyed by the subject of the detective visite.
The bodyguard then sits back in his chair and then reply:
“Wooot, well detective the lady has spoken why are you asking
about the doctor”

when he saw the group he thought "the nervous guy is probably
the manager, and the giggling lady is probably the diva let's
hope she doesn't start to rhyme her testimony since than i have
to translate it also"
when he saw the owl he thought "that big guy is probably the
bodyguard need to be careful not to flirt with her since he wil
probably trow me out then"
when the owl replied he said with a serious tone "i'm sorry i'm
just doing my job just like you're doing by protecting her
aren't you mr bodyguard" then the manager said his call was a
bit sudden the detective just replied with "that is because i
called when i got the number and i am a busy man"
when the diva started laughing the detective thought hm so she
does know him i should let her finish
when the diva said kaw was her brother he thought surprised
"brother! that explains the resemblence and the simularity of
their name" his expresion stayed serious
when the diva and the bodyguard asked why the detective wanted
to know about her brother her brother he just simply replied
with because you're brother tried to rob the bank and is stil on
the loose so if you can i would like to know his full name in
order for an official wanted document
the detective then said "i also want to know if you know of some
kind of warm orange drug kaw used it to power his talons how he
called it. since he is you're brother it is probably the
dangerous drug made 20 years ago by professor kawinski so do you
know anything about that drugg"
