Release the frustration!

The week had taken a toll on Rouge's patience. Ever since the
defeat of Eggman the village hadn't been really quiet and there
was so much agitation that she didn't had a minute to relax. She
went to the gym and it was quiet. Most people were busy
rebuilding whike she was passing her frustration on the punching
bag. She kicked the bag so many times that he ripped in half
spilling the sand all over the floor.
"Villagers...men..." She kept kicking the empty bag and went to
the boxing bag and threw a couple of punch at it. She slowly
relaxed as she punched it. Exhaling a sigh of reliefs and
streching her finger, she went to the juice bar. "Pineapple,
mangoes and oranges." she asked and sat down on a stool.

[i]Having decided that she wanted to take a different approach
to how she spent her lunch break today, the fennec figured that
she'd brush up on some training like Sally often advised. It was
great that the rest of resistance were keen to help her train
and get stronger, since she did need the help, but at the end of
the day it was down to her to put in the extra time, and really
see how far she could go to push her limits, and beyond, despite
the recent victory over Eggman Empire nothing quite felt back to
normal yet.
With Sonic not being in the best place mentally or emotionally,
and the locals being on edge, it just added to her reasoning to
wanting to be prepared, which is how the fennec found herself in
the gym, throwing punches at a punching bag of her own, near the
corner of the room, only unlike the female bat she was having a
slightly tougher time breaking ground, it wasn't that she
couldn't land a decent hit, Sally had long since covered that
basic, it was more,her stamina and force that needed improving,
right now she got by on her agility and resourcefulness which
wasn't a bad thing.
It was just that she knew that she wouldn't get by on just
skipping past her weak points for long with such an attitude. So
she was giving it her all, weeell she had been until the THUMP
of another punching bag skidding across the room, grabbed her
attention. Almost flinching at the sight of the white furred
female, really giving it to her punching bag, she ducked
slightly behind her own.
[b][Thinking] "Jeez.. i'm sure glad that's not me under her
heel."[b]

Rouge's ear twitched and she turned herself to the source of the
distraction. "Did you said something?" She asked calmly but the
realised she had ripped the bag and realised it must had have a
impact. "Oh...yes. Forgive me I must have lost my composure, but
you too seem tense. Again forgive me but I will intrude. What is
it that is causing you that visible angst?" She went straight to
the point. That Fennec woman appeared stressed and Rouge just
calmed down and she figured that it might be interesting to know
what might be up with her. "Join me for a juice, my treat."

[i] When it came to first impressions Sonya was usually right,
not that she intended to brag but it was a perspective gift of
sorts. So when the other female asked rather bluntly why she
looked tense and antsy, the female knew that this individual was
a 'i'm going to say exactly what's on my mind' sort of person.
Not that Sonya minded, after all Amy was very much like that, so
it wasn't that she wasn't used to being around mobians of a
louder personality per say, she was just a little caught off
guard, she was used to blending into the background when she
didn't want to noticed, and this bat had pretty much plucked her
out into centre.
Knowing from personal experience that it probably wouldn't be a
good idea to keep this personality type waiting, the female
obediently wandered over from her hiding place, in favor of
taking up a stool beside the extroverted nocturnal.
"E-Er.. thank you.. are you sure you don't want me to pay?"
She couldn't stop herself from inquiring out of politeness, not
to mention she was slightly stalling for time, as she wasn't
used to opening up comfortably around strangers yet.

"I too could use the company, men stuff and public problems as
well?" She asked her chuckling and hailed the waiter. "Could you
get her your famous fruit cocktail honey?" She asked the Bunny
waitress which winked and juggled a few glasses and fruits to
prepare the drink. "It's on me, don't worry. You don't seem very
upstanding and probably don't soeak your mind often. Do you?"
she was already scanning her from top to bottom. "Introverted,
anxious." She stared at her for a instand with a hand covering
her own mouth then removed it to have a sip.
"Tell me, what's wrong." she asked bluntly and offered her a
smile. "Don't be affraid, I won't bite..." She said insisting on
the word bite and chuckled.

[i] Blissfully unaware that a light shade of rose pink was
scattering across her muzzle, at the mention of 'men stuff, she
briefly turned her head away from the other female to mumble to
herself.
"If only.."
Dragging herself from the pity parade that was her self esteem,
she focused her attention back on the female bat, letting out a
nervous giggle, and flapping her hands absent mindedly in front
of herself, a gesture that was supposed to make her look calm
and collected but instead just made her anything but.
"Trust me! i- i .. men troubles gosh that's crazy! but as far as
the public problems go i think it's safe to say we're in the
same boat." Her tone taking a somber turn, the fennec let her
gaze drift downward to her drink, trying hard not to reveal the
bottled up emotions that tried to fight to surface. Sipping her
drink, she allowed herself a minute or two of silence, before
she spoke, trying her best for her own pride, to keep the
statement vague.
"Um .. sorry i don't even know your name."
Offering out a hand, she continued.
"Do you ever feel like you want to do so much to help, but you
can do so little?"

Rouge rolled her eyes to acknowledge Sonya's problem. "Wanba
talk about? When helping is not enough but you want to do more
yeah. I know that but sometimes you need to put some distance in
between you and the problem amd smash a punching bag..." She
said realised again that she had made a mess. She sighed and
smirked. In a way it was funny and harming a bag was a better
option than smashing someone's face.
"So...who's he? Or her?" She asked with a smirk. She had imagine
it would be heart problem, why would be otherwise? That woman
looked adorable. " of forgive me... I am Rouge the Bat and your
name is?"

A shiver running down her spine, at the mention of the former
punching bag, she let one of her ears droop midway, a subtle
sign that the usually jittery fennec was beginning to relax a
little. Kicking her dangling legs gently back forth, she allowed
herself another moment to think, pondering over Rouges words.
'Sometimes you need to put some distance in between you and the
problem.. ' she could hardly follow that advice when it was more
she being the problem, than he was it wasn't his fault that she
happened to be incapable of openly expressing herself.
"I'm guessing you had someone in mind, when you were throwing
punches at that punching bag earlier?"
Tilting her head, she peered at her new friend curiously.
Self control be damned, all it took was the playful ask and she
was off.
"I-It's definitely not a h-her i promise! i mean not that
there's anything wrong with that i support equal rights and love
for all genders after all-"
Stopping herself, she hid her face behind her hands, before
speaking.
"I'm Sorry Rouge.. i'm rambling again it's a nervous habit."
Now managing to uncover her hands from her face, she tried again
to explain.
"He's .. he.. it doesn't matter ..it's pretty obvious he doesn't
think of like that anyway.."
"Oh! i'm Sonya."
Adding in her introduction as an afterthought, she offered up a
timid smile.[i]

"Don't worry, you never know nowadays if someone gonna be
pissed. This war have everyone so tense." She shrugged and
stretched her arms a little. "Did you have the courage to tell
him...? And I guess he was not pretty receptive either."
She said grimacing. "No one in particular... I am just tense is
all." She explained herself and didn't insisted further.
"You do seem nervous, and in those clothes I guess I can see why
Mr. X don't notice you the way you noticed him."
